Ugh. Tonight's not my night. Got bumped off track first lap of first race then proceeded to run of track twice more anyways. :yuck:

Second race got a bad case of the lag on the first corner which bumped me to the back from fourth then a disconnect right as I went into the pit.:irked:

Big Willow is not treating me well. One more try then I'm out

I was with you in at least two of those races I think. I got totally screwed in the second race by a driver from a certain country...
 
I'm done tonight. Can't get a good race in.

Oh well. Not every night is a winner. Seems to be an issue getting clean races on tracks that don't come up all that often. People don't get enough practice on them and all hell breaks loose.

It didn't help that I couldn't get out of my own way

It’s very bad to see S/S players having this kind of attitude with no excuse...
and giving the lamest answer when confronted...
This tells a lot about someone...

I think certain people are just a-holes, no matter how much practice they have.
Take Interlagos, that track is up like all the time, yet people nuke through corners as bad as they did the first time it came..

Obviously plenty of people do care, otherwise forums like this wouldn't even exist. And the fact that you're here proves you care as well. Drop the too-cool-for-school act, because nobody is buying it my dude.

Looks like simply not checking the radar and therefore going for the racing line. Did he get a penalty or did he just wait for you because he knew he messed up?

I'm not sure. But he also waited for a bunch of other drivers to pass him as well. And he didn't stay in the chat to explain himself or apologize. So I assume the worst.

Maybe I should learn how getting replays to youtube works.. Some mindboggling stuff last night. A car driving well infront of me goes to the grass and spins.. Turns into a ghost and drives through me sideways. Penalty for me.. And if someone cuts me on a corner by hitting my side it's a penalty for me. Two cars on a straight bumping my rear from both sides, penalty for me..

I was slow in Nurb/Cayman but decided to drive a few races and keep it as clean as I can. Didn't work out.. Well its my own fault I dropped to B in the first place. A couple of weeks ago had a heated battle with another finn and we both just lost it. Was on the verge of SR:S but got dropped to B then.. And on a downwards spiral right now. Impossible to get up with the current penalty system. Went from SR:B to D last night..

2 ovals and a bus stop. Why???

This night was one of my best nights ever on GTS, definitely the best night on Big Willow. So much awesome racing, never thought GR.4 could be this much fun. I made almost 5K DR, now at 46K total, and managed two wins :)

Thanks to all the great people that were on to race against.

I like that it gave me 5 sec penalty for that. I could have salvaged that if I went into the pit, top up at lap 4 works, yet was too stunned to think of that.

Now to lose it all tomorrow....
