Like black said, you can definitely improve your DR. There's many threads giving advice on how to get faster as well as improving your racecraft :)

Yes, I will look for the tips, one quickie though, am I best forgetting about traction control and cornering assistant and simply practice getting
to grips with the cars, I am never sure if me using the aids is hindering my online performance as some cars I really struggle without the aids.

Yeah, got to make the most of it in the summer months. I already swam in it while it was 65F. Pool season is May until October if you're cray enough. You have to keep it clean after opening it and after spending an hour or more cleaning it, it would be a shame not to dive in, or rather ease in very slowly. My kids don't seem to care about the cold, they jumped in when it was 58F... They were already asking to go in it while it was still covered in snow.

Maybe you should try motion control. That gives you a better feeling than the sticks. There is a thread about motion control and peoples say it is more better...

I'd freaking go in there even if it's 33F!
I'd honestly go in lower than that but I don't think it's possible to swim in ice :D
 
So which american would suit for Infield. I know it's silly but i like using cars based on track nation so picking between chrevrolet, dodge and ford

Will have a look at that, I've used motion control in other games so I'm familiar with how it works but I'll wait until my day off work on
Friday to practice.

So I think the veyron is the fasted atm around that track so might be why

That would be a Dr loss for some I'd reckon. Got to get your SR back to 99 to stop getting matched with those D rated drivers.

Maybe not enough players entered that particular race?

If the daily races player numbers keep dropping, and I hope they actually go in the other direction, maybe they could ditch the region thing and just have global daily races. Latency would of course be a bigger issue than it is today but they could attempt some kind of matchmaking that takes into account SR, DR and also latency.

That's just caused by PDs server infrastructure I guess because it's literally the only developer that puts a burden towards global multiplayer and causes lag for players from overseas.

@ASH32 I don't think the DR D drivers lost many DR points, because Blacki only got 8, the rest was split up between the DR D drivers just like it would've been without an A+ driver in the room.
 
After a terrible race on Interlagos yesterday (I'll never again use GR1 cars on that track, even though it is my favorite) I'm almost sure that today's gonna be the day I'll experience first DR reset after trying the tonight's Nations at Monza (DR A, currently SR A) :)

What I meant was a top driver would get less points than that and could maybe even lose points there if they were in that race instead of Blacki, even when winning. But since we don't know how it works 100% it's hard to know for sure.

Oh yeah if an A+ driver lost that race and came last he would've lost heaps of points.
However I think if you win you can't actually loose DR points since you didn't loose to anyone, so the minimum you'll get is DR +0.
 
I am not good in daily race lately. Both Dr and Sr keep lowering. Did 2 b races, first one was matched as below. Got bumped to the sand by P3 at the chicane. Then disaster till the end. Got ping-pong. Got bump at every corners. Lost 1000 Dr and 30 Sr to Sr B. What a start:nervous:

Then race at Sr B. Got win. No fun at all. Gained 100 Dr and 7 Sr. Felt worse than the first race.:irked::irked::irked:

Oh yes, you can. I lost now 150 DR points on Race C. Did qualifiying and get mixed up again with D drivers... pole - win and some wall touches, not clean. -150 points. This sucks!
 
Haven’t raced in the dailies for ages now, just seems they’ve completely ditched some combos that I like!

The other reason being waiting for my man cave tv to turn up tomorrow then I should be in them far more regularly!

The A+ driver should have dropped out of the race during the loading screen. He wouldn't have taken a Dr hit.

That's very inconsiderate and disrespectful to the lower rated drivers.

Maybe he doesn't know he can drop out without taking a hit to his Dr. I don't know.

I wade through a local river in early spring and late fall to get to the trail on the other side. You do not want to swim in 33F water lol. It hurts so bad :)
Yet ice dips are popular in Canada, it's a yearly tradition in Toronto to start the new year with... Cut a hole in the ice and go!

This is starting to form a pattern, and it smells like a bug that scores you as if you finished second. The correct score for you in that situation would've been +1 point for each other player.

I wonder though what it correlates to, since your other race came out right (the 8 pts one). Did you lap someone?
