To be on topic, had one 4th place on Interlagos today with Lexus, but qualified with nsx, my least favorite car in the game. (But gr3 and gr4 Nsx are somehow great ?!)

I haven't tried Interlagos since I got my wheel, so I bypassed this race the other night.

And I have yet to find a Honda that I like in this game.

I do love Group 2 racing with the Lexus, however.

I was very happy Group Races are back for the N classes until i saw how they set it up .... like what on earth ? My dituned GT40 i use to earn money at blue moon bay can enter, this the exact same mistake they did before that "forced" the one makes to begin with & ok the GT40 is a road car but what about the SF-R Racing concept? in the race i entered i used a WRX starting 11th with 7 SF-R's & 1 GT40! i can't complain about the X-Bow's cause they are in N300 to begin with but the only car i could compete against was 1 R34 skyline . I finished 11th with the skyline just in front of me
27 second behind the winner
9 seconds per lap slower! & the game thought it was a bad result & it was kind of , Now i don't consider my self a fast driver & i coulden't go as fast cause the remaining SF-R's & X-Bow behind were attacking all the time but what did the game expect when they allow a little race car with GR.4 if not higher levels of performance ? the fact i kept 5 of those behind me should be considered good imo. So in short
The cars eligibility for this races should be based on the class they are categorized originally on the delership & not be effected be the tuning the player does in thair garage & the SF-R should be banned . To end my comment i want to answer to @bmxmitch no mate it was & still is PD's fault for allowing the community to do this after all thats human nature.

I ran several of these races yesterday. First tried with the Audi TTS. Bad car for that track, way too much understeer. I then bought an X-bow and ran 2 races with that. Did good lap times, but didn't run the race well, mainly because I wasn't quite familiar with the car and how far I could push it before spinning out.

I was SHOCKED to see an R8 (street version, not the LMS) in the race.

And my 2 cents, I think Suzuka Circuit is a waste on N300 street cars. Esp on HARD tires. Sliding all over the place by everyone.

Well Race C was the disaster I predicted. Put in what I thought was a reasonable lap with the fantasy Audi and qualified P16. I tried the Bugatti , but was getting better times with the VGT Audi. Yeh, and the guy squatting on pole? The Bugatti .

T1 and 2 were chaos, but I managed to get through them ok, then I got bashed on T3 and things pretty well much went down from there. In the end I just tried to see if I could do a no stop with short shifting, but fell 2 laps short. My tyres were totally shot anyway. Fuel and tyres, and on my way to finish the race for what it's worth. I'm way too timid with prototypes. Finished P15. Pole sitter Bugatti finished P8.

SR back up to 99, so that's good. For my trouble DP booted me up the arse for -2k worth of DR. Back to DR/D again. Another day above DR 1 :dopey:.

Trials and tribulations :D

@Litchi, are you running in North America region asTurismo-Litchi? If so, I was in a Race A with you this morning that you won. I finished 4th
Yeah, Lester & Cie invited me to join them so after a time of reflection (that would be a 3rd account after all and it's long to climb to A+ in US region running with EU time slot). But I finally said yes... Here is my 1st day as Turismo-Litchi, I started this morning:

If I was American I'd be one of the top drivers in this game for that region, as someone in the EMEA region I'm just one of a fairly large number of just decently quick drivers. It's massively competitive over here but personally I'm not going to use a fake account just to win more often but don't think I'm knocking anyone who choses to do so, or maybe just fancies trying out another region, as that's their choice.

Wow, 1st day and already with 15 wins, 14 poles and 16 fast laps, racing 17 times. Good show!

Perhaps it's me, but I always find Lambo's to be very hard to corner and on Gardens, you really need a car that corners well.

But again, that could just be me.

I feel the same way, it feels too sluggish. Even with the AWD, the rear will still snap just as easily in low speed corners. The fastest Lambo was just a few tenths away iirc. Meanwhile the Megane Trophys were running 35s.

The Trophy still, isn't all that. In Race B, I'm catching it and passing on the straight. The Infield, it's not flash either. It's only good with consecutive corners with not much hills.

The car probably has too much aero. Plus, it has the second least hp/tq figures. Yeah, lightweight is fine, but it falls into that 4C/Lotus area of not being an all-rounder.

It is all that.

As of right now (1:39 PM) in my region it's the fastest car around infield A even with the big straight and it's still relatively early in the day. The fastest time with it is a 11.5 thus far iirc, 7/10 cars in the top 10 are Megane Trophys and they are all in the 11s. I bet by tonight that car will be in the 1:10s while taking up all spots on the top 10 LB.

It was fastest around DT Gardens yesterday and Brands Hatch a few days ago, both of which have many hills throughout the layout. Now it's fastest around Infield A Speedway, that says it all really. The car is OP and needs at least few hundred pounds added to it's total weight with BOP.

I doubt the people you are passing on the straight are getting the most out of it in the corners leading onto that straight. It's acceleration and cornering speeds makes up for whatever it lacks in top speed.

Hello there fellow racers!
Thought I'd share my experience in todays races. I got a pretty good time of 1:14.0xx on Race B (good for me at least :D). Started mostly on pole but got punted on T2 most of the time causing me to drop to P13 and working my way up, I usually finished on P7 or P8. I got P2 on my 4th race and was pretty happy about that. I took an hour long break, tried to do one last race. Ended up on pole and pretty much cruised my way to my first victory ever!

I tried to do the latest Lambo runs in the GT League..what a freaking disaster that was

everything would have been fine if only N300 cars were allowed to enter the rest is like the PP system like on GT5/6.

PD really have to give us at least one good Gr.1 race per week. The cars are fun to drive, but everyone is making so many mistakes due to lack of practice. I got from 8th to 3rd in 8 laps despite having to serve a 10s penalty against A+/S and A/S drivers, and then the leader made two big mistakes on the last lap to throw the race away...crazy stuff.

Not to mention everyone ignoring the fact that fuel weight and tyre wear play a factor in race C.
Tyres were beat already after 2 laps, cars flying off left and right. Yet, people still find it smart to join on the track right on the racing line and cause incoming traffic (and themselves, again) to crash out..

I've raced some of the top Meganes in my region, as I've mentioned, it's a stable car that gives the player confidence. I drove one for the One Make a couple weeks ago. Good car. But it still isn't all that. It's a one trick pony for certain courses. It's not an all rounder. If it can do it all, THEN, it's all that. That's my point.

I use my US account as a stress reliever :D
Whenever I get a bad game I always go there to get myself a Top 10 time

Brand's hatch is good fun so far. I'm making up about 12 places per race, finishing 5th to 7th, and have gained 4.5k DR so far in 5 races. I'm still fine starting from the back although twice I still go punted in T1 by the 1 car starting behind me.... Matchmaking is putting me with A+/S to B/S tonight which is fine. 1:10 on pole I can't touch anyway as 1:13 is my best lap. Practicing clean overtaking is more fun than watching the gap to the front grow bigger.

In my last race I had a great battle in the second half with another clean driver. After a couple laps I finally saw an opening after T3 and passed him on the inside of T4. Then I screwed up T2 in the next lap and he passed me again. I caught up again and was putting the pressure on him for the final two laps, yet he didn't buckle until the corner before last. I got alongside for the final corner, on the outside, was slightly ahead yet was afraid to hit him and went a little bit too wide. Dropped from 5th to 7th. Still 12 positions up, great race.

Break time, more racing at 11! or 12, it's late already.

Well, that's completely pointless. What a big giant **** show. Tried it 3 times. Qualified 3, 4, and 5. Every time I was booted by someone from behind on turn one and I get penalized. And, while trying to then salvage something, get booted again. And again. 3 consecutive races finishing last or nearly last while being penalized for other people's errors. I'm done until they fix the penalty system.

Just did Race B with my B/S account, and the standard of racing was worse than in my C/B account. The sly way fellow racers try to give you a penalty was shocking. Constant brake tests and little rear taps into and out of corners. Back to the lesser account where you can at least see it coming. First time ever rage quitting with this account!

Doh, just got disconnected at matchmaking. I guess I'll try the Viper in a sea of Meganes on race B. I assume it well all be Meganes as the whole top 10 and my entire friend list qualifying times are all Meganes :banghead:

Actually there weren't that many Meganes, just the A+ and A drivers used them. Race starts, oh crap, we're going the wrong way around, have I ever driven this before... It's GR.4, slow, no matter. It was only 6 laps though, went up 5 positions to 9th with clean race bonus by driving carefully. Finished blue in between a bunch of red ratings. Quick back to Brands!

Sometimes....

Back on Brand's I get taken out in T5 by a diver. Oh well it happens, back to last, plenty laps left. I catch back up, the car in front of me goes wide in T2, I pass cleanly to get punted off in T3. I should have know, he clearly has no brakes installed. Then one of my kids falls out of bed and starts crying, quick pause. Kid is fine, back in bed, already asleep again. Ok start from last in lap 3 10 sec behind everyone else, 35 sec behind first. Still do-able, I pass a few cars, disconnected from network.

Do I stay up for the next one or do the sensible thing and go to bed :/
