Gooooo tell it on the Mountain, set my horsepower free.....Two races which had potential, until autodrive let go

. I qualified with the NSX and managed to beat my Viper time. Still 2s slower than optimal however. Seeing a 2:16 lap is but a dream for me. That put me in P4 for both races. First race was 15 spots dropped to 13 for the race. Second was 16 dropped to 12 for the race. Mixed DR/C-D with a couple of Bs thrown in.
Race 1 gets going and I was so not focused on Hell Corner. I drove strait into the wall at the end of the finish strait. From there I was re-spawned into last place and had to struggle from there. It's ok if cars are spread out a bit, but when you have a group of 4 or 5 cars who are obviously a lot slower than me from The Cutting to Forest Elbow it's *really* frustrating

! That's what I get for not braking for T1

. I saw a couple of orange SRs and finished P9, dropped from P7. No idea what the DR/SR from that race was, I entered the next race strait away.
Race 2 was marginally better, but I just like
@NevilleNobody, I just could not get my 🤬 together. I managed to actually do an impression of a sports car rather than an American muscle car and turn at Hell Corner this time

. I missed the apex at Sulman Park and scrapped the wall which gave the Lambo behind me an opportunity to pass me before Skyline and from there I was all over the place. Bathurst has it's own rhythm and I just could not do the dance. I blame it on the boogy

. After coming to a grinding halt exiting Forest Elbow the 4s lead I had became 0.4s by the time I got to The Chase. Somehow I managed to make the last few corners and finish P5.
After the radiator had finished belching steam, the dust from what was left of the clutch plates had blown away in the wind and the brake fluid had finished spilling onto the tarmac, My SR dropped to 94, and I totalled about 100 DR gain. Another day above DR 1
