Wow what a farce, look at the exploit the number one EMEA time on race C is using. Unbelievable.

I was just going to ask where these times have come from, suddenly over a second a lap faster than earlier and that was a second too fast for me, thank god they are using a cheat. All I learned earlier was how to run 1:45.8-1:46.0 pretty consistently but really I need to get under 1:45.5 at the very least I think.

Race B has been rather fruitful in the end today - have gained just under 4500 dr points and just now whilst practicing, I managed to beat the 2.27 barrier with 2:26.983. My optimal time was under 2:26.5 which currently would put me in the top 10 :D:D.

If only I could just string together those last 10ths !!!

I was like.. isn't that a bit long for a highlight video? But this duel is worth it.. i love the way you 2 raced with to the max and kept it so clean.. kudos

Nice stuff

Thanks :gtpflag:

Nice win, but see that car starting under the bridge, before the hairpin - that's me with yet another bugged start!
Yeah i noticed that lonely car when i was making the videoclip, sucks dude. Game has been real buggy lately.

I thought it might happen only after the race starts. Yes it did hurt my ratings Shottah072. I had just passed the 20.000Dr.points with a 99Sr. Yes I went back to 19.000 Dr.points and 96 Sr.
I just don't understand the Dr./Sr. system of ratings in overall. In my opinion if you bump yourself through a pack of clean racers, let's say from 6th. to 2nd. place. He ends up with Red S but increases his DR. points. I find that bad, it's shouldn't be possible to increase your Dr. level if you can't show you get a Blue Sr. That should be an eyeopener for these drivers... MHO. Cheers.
I think your DR level cant surpass your SR level already. Problem is its to easy to maintain SR S.

First time racing at Barcelona today. Qualified 5th in a competitive lobby, i think over half of the field were A+ with about 2 seconds qualifying spread across the field. So i knew it was gonna get tough getting back trough the field after i messed up the first lap and dropped back to 10th :banghead:. Wanted to do a highlight clip but there was so much battling and stuff going on i ended up with about 2/3 of the race in the clip :gtpflag:

This is what I'm saying. I understand many people may not have time to dedicate to the game. So, may have been trying this track for the first time. I had A+ and A drivers(I'm B) in one race and half the field couldn't navigate the track. In the B race, It was a Magane Gr.4 Cup, which I joined with my own Magane. That, had D and C players.
I know players want to just go racing, but some should really practice on the track, with their favorite car first. If they do and still can't come to grips with the track, I suggest watching tutorials.

At A/A+ level I'd expect the drivers would have enough experience to know they need to know the track before racing  !!!! Down in my world (D/C) ya kinda expect less experience on a new track. I wasn't too lost because it took me 3 attempts to win against the AI doing the Gr2 race in GT League. I think that was 30 laps in total.

Considering this is the first time I’ve ever driven Catalunya, I’ll take a 1:47.744. I did about 10 laps in the 911 RSR, then 15 or so in the NSX and now 24 in the Porsche.

I will not be racing at all until I have this circuit nailed. Feels good to be hot lapping again, all the thrill without the risk!

Wow, Catalunya is a tight track. So many 2nd and 3rd gear corners it's ridiculous. I failed horribly on my first attempt coming 12th after spinning and then trying to get back on track. Got respawned twice in the process and burnt up the right left tyre. The tyre got soo bad that I struggled to keep the car straight. This is in the R8 BTW. On the second attempt, I came a respectable 4th place. But that's all the racing I did.

Thanks :gtpflag:

This is what I tried to say but my English is next to nothing.... Far to easy and the SR value should be much higher in score to get S rating. May be 499 or something. Cheers.

I see allot of people on the EU board now cutting the final chicane :irked:

I've heard, have not seen yet. For reference before cheat the fastest lap was a 1:44.7, now the fastest is 1:43.4, I wonder if PD will do anything otherwise this race is ruined before it's even really got going.

I think all the laps on the EU board do it.

Good lord it’s hard to avoid penalties at Catalunya! Both races so far have been ram fests which doesn’t help.

Provided you don't get assistance from another vehicle, it's not that hard. I found the track limits a lot more forgiving that I was expecting. I was expecting them to be similar to le Sarthe when it was first introduced.

I've had some close, but processional races there just now. x2 races gave me a 3rd then a 2nd. On 7 clean race streak.. Here's hoping I can make it to 15 lol.

P.S Pipped your qually with a 2.26.968 but my optimal was a 2.26.628.

@rono_thomas was on pole for the first race but vanished. Did you DC?

*Sigh* yes. Forgot to restart :banghead:

I'm jinxed. I cannot win race B lol. Started from pole 3 times on the bounce and finished 2nd all 3 times. Some really close clean racing though.

Later night racing definitely improves driving standards, and race craft. Props to everybody I've raced this evening.

Off to bed :gtpflag:

Well, I just moved up one spot in my last race..... racing by myself while all other cars had the shakes.

Well I took a Run at QT’s for Races A and B, Race A is tough, best I could muster there was 1:31.229 but I didn’t play a race there, the walls have me scared lol. Race B I was able to get to 2:29.552 which got me two Poles and a Win that put me into DR A for the first time, the win was kind of a gift though, it should have been a better race. At 1:25 into the video you’ll see why, I swing wide(like I was saying to that guy yesterday) and the dive bomber takes him out. That was the only guy in the race who could have made it fun too.

I did one more race after being promoted to DR A but this time I was put in the Big Boy group for the first time, my same time that got me two poles only started me 8th this time, and boy did I make a mess of it haha. I managed to hold my 8th place for the race but man those guys are fast! I’ve got me some practicing to do to keep up with them. :)

Race A is pure gold this week. The Audi TT with SH tires is probably the best handling car in the entire game, until the car starts moving, what a pig of a car to try to drive. Then PD gives us a track that might be 6 feet wide for a car that is 5 feet 10"wide, great idea PD!!!! The best way to tank you SR and DR will be to keep racing race A, even if you start on pole you just know someone is going to try T1 way too hot and send you into the wall, of course you will be penalized because you are the innocent victim so now you will be stuck running midfield, if anyone tries that race might I suggest they look for an off ramp during qualifying so you can get the 🤬 out of there before you are DR-E/SR-E:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The entire treat and score of the Penalty System and the Safety/Driver Rating is so far below the par - can't really believe this is controlled by a serious establishment... I suggest to appoint someone in this PD Community to spend a few extra coins to get a better leadership with Knowledge! MHO Hope the Admin can take some negative feedback from us racing daily......

Didn’t get to race today due to personal business unfortunately, so I’ll tell something about how I raced against erickgtr3123 of CnF fame at Circuit de La Sarthe on whatever week the La sarthe gr1 race was.
He was driving the Tomahawk from Dodge. An American has to drive an American car, right? ;) I had my trusty Hyundai N2025.
We were racing together with him on pole. I messed up at Arnage I think it was?
He won of course. I got a decent position. I apologized that I stopped giving him a race:lol:
He said good race, and so did I.
Good times!

B was fun, but a mixed bag. I love the long course at Kyoto, and was running consistent times in the NSX. Sadly too may drivers come off the long downhill hairpin and let it all hang out- I got barged off there at least twice, and at the speeds in play at that point it was always grass, gravel, and guardrails. I was my own worst enemy a couple races, but more importantly, I had a lot of fun.

Ahhh, it's so refreshing to race again! And what better way to get back into it than with a good ol' fashioned Gr.3 brawl at Interlagos! This track is like the new Suzuka for me, where I can constantly perform well because I know the track inside and out. Yesterday's final race of the day (afternoon) was a particular one of note, with me and a fellow Saffer doing a 1-2:

I absolutely adore this NSX, and it's a shame that I took so long to get myself a piece of this group/track combination. It could've been worse though and been featured for only one day in the week had PD not changed the race structure.
