Depends on the room, if it’s a fast room a no stop on hards is probably best, in slower room a one stop on M/M works well, or you can no stop Mediums but they get a little understeery by the end.

Hards after 7 Laps.

With the Citroën my mediums where largely above the mediums of the Lambo and I think I could run about 10 laps with them.

I haven't done race c yet this week. What is the best strat? Lambo no stop hards?

I've only done a handful of races on C but so far I've liked M for back tyres and H for front in the Huracan. Front tyres typically take the most beating so it's a good compromise between the two. I don't think pitting is the way to go in this race especially for fast lobbies which @Pigems mentioned. I was somehow placed in a lobby with aliens (6 - 7 A+) where not a single driver went into the pits.

Two races this morning. Both were not good. First one was finr for the first 5 laps till i got taken out on t1. His after race response to me was that i slowed down to much, wtf, i was easy to avoid....

Next race another jack arse decided to take out three of us in turn one lap one. I ended up all the way in the dirt at the wall, by the time i was reset i was half a lap back in last, so i just quit. First time i have done that in close to a year i think. I hate leaving a race but i am still fumming from that last one. It was clearly intentional in replay. Thanks to the previous race i was back to dr.b anyway so whatever....

Btw anyone know whats next week yet?

Wake up in the morning. Feeling shy and lonley. Gee I've gotta race. Don't think I can make it, don't think I can take it. Wonder what I'm gunna do? But then I look around and see. There's someone about to rear end me! Wait! That someone's ghosting through me, hey, they slammed in a wall... erm, sorry.. channelling Sven. Is that Zit Remedy you're playing in the back ground? Dood, yer a freak :p!

Ok so another night at the madness that is Interlagos. Only a few days to go, I pulled out the R8 that people seem to be complaining is too tail happy. Doooooood! I was pretty happy with it and after three laps qualifying in the non race entry trial, I beat my Viper time by a couple of tenths 👍. Took a break, watched some anime, shower, changed dresses into my privateer outfit and qualified with race entry. Cut a second off my Viper time which put me in P4/16 instead of P10. Mixed grid of DR/C and D, no DR/A fillers :dopey:.

The usual mayhem at the start as someone dived up the inside then slowed to a crawl because he didn't have the angle to drive through the exit, which caused a conga line of very impatient people staking up behind me. Off we go and I get going. Had another dive and crawl which dropped me down another position. After that I was getting the groove of the R8 during race conditions and taking a less than happy line to protect the inside from any more shenanigans. I seemed to have a better handle than the two in front through Senna and Descida do Lago, so I was able to keep up :scared:.

I'd picked up 3s of penalties through being careless and taking a bit too much of a bite out of a couple of corners... the R8 turns in nicely :D. On the final lap I was in P6. I was within a second of the car in front coming up final hill, the car behind was 4s behind and the car in front had a 4s penalty. I dropped a couple of seconds of my penalty and finished P5. It was pretty close racing with a lot of door to door.. and some door on door:nervous:. Saw two orange SRs.

SR dropped by 1, DR went up 500. Day 2 of my journey through DR/C :dopey:.

Good stuff, thanks. Hards is probably the way to go for me. Usually get placed mid pack or further back of faster lobbies.

NP, always happy to help when I can. :)

Good to know, thanks. I only have a handful of cars on my Alt profile so I’ve just been using the Lambo because it’s one of the few cars I already have.

I think you can run mediums if you have a wheel but if you're on the controller like me hards is probably the way to go.

This may be true, I do use a wheel and have heard many times that DS4’s burn tires more than a wheel. :)

Yeah I use ds4. I really want a T300RS GT though. One day.

That’s what I have, I highly recommend it if you’re planning to get a wheel. 👍

You’re right, even in the slower rooms not many were pitting, the majority seem to be running no stops on hard tires. :)

I would like to join in the fun these Americas guys had...with my 3-4 bar connection to the Tokyo servers, so I'm expecting worse stuff when I connect myself to the Virginia servers with my hypothetical US account...

Actually, according to wonder network ping times, you won't be much worse than Brazilian players. Jakarta to Toronto is about 267ms ping, while Brasilia to Toronto is 235ms ping.

Jakarta to Brsilia is 373 ms ping. For you, racing Brazilians will be going towards the comedy side of laggy racing.

Wish I could do what you guys are doing, but I don't want to sacrifice what I did to get back to the top
I did race C 15-20 times, yesterday on my "I don't give a 🤬" account. I had 1 pre-race disconnect and 1 disconnect during the race. Cumulatively, I lost about 700 DR on the day, and 63 SR points. I had the one incident that got me upset, but otherwise, I really had a good time racing from the back. You'd probably have fun with it, too. 👍

From a couple of weeks ago at Bathurst. Apologies as the voice over is super loud :(

@Voodoovaj

I vaguely remember that one. I was still trying to recover my form after my experiment with ABS weak. Truth be told, I am just getting back to form now and I'd say that I am still not as consistent as I was. It's been almost a month. The two updates haven't helped either because I'm finding I have to search the right brake balance for each car all over again.

Like, I can USUALLY run mid to low 1:32's at Interlagos this week with the R8, then out of nowhere I'm a second slower.

Great to see this stuff posted. I always worry that I hadn't behaved myself :D

I just tried my first Race C of the day, starting 16/16 on Hards. The mission, stay in DFL and and touch NOTHING to farm SR and get rid of the DQ warning from yesterday. Race starts, I don’t lol, I didn’t hit the gas pedal until my car had dropped to 20km/h, leader was 33s ahead and the next driver was 24s ahead by the time I pushed the pedal.

By the time I reach T2 on the first lap I’m in 13th, by the end of Lap one I’m in 10th, I still hadn’t come within 20s of another car yet. By the end of lap 4 I was in 9th and had closed the gap on 8th to 7s so I decided to pit for tires instead of letting off. I put mediums on and ended up getting FL for the race with a 9.1, crossed the line 9th but finished 8th without ever passing a car and not getting closer than 5s to the guy in front of me at any time. This could be a fun day of racing.

Edit: Just checked KP, gained 15 SR, I wonder if that’s enough to resume racing as usual now?

Man brutal race below. Was a good tussle with guys that are mostly faster than me but i get a 2 second penalty for being hit from behind (COME ON!!) and then get nerfed off the road. This after 2 great laps of racing where i manage a super pass into T1.

Once i spin you can shut it down, nothing happens after that other than losing 1,000 DR points.

Tried one more race a before work to try and wash the bad taste from earlier out of my mind. Bad idea, was having a good battle for 2nd untill lep 4 then i somehow spun the mx5 around.... first time, not sure how i did it, no one touched me that i could tell. Spent the rest oc the race in last....

Did cut my interlagos time. Used the stang on mon, and haven't been able to beat it by trying cars i don't usually run. Beat it by a second in a handful of laps this morning with a car i use often enough, the amg.

I tried to go through the proper channels, and asked this question in the Livery Editor thread, but nobody answered it.
Does anyone know if I can share a livery with my other account, without posting it?

Todaywas my last try to have a clean race C. Now it seems to me it‘s definitely impossible.

I wanted to race today. Not for the competition but more for the fun. I took a Mustang G4 and knewing this car would be hardly competitive regarding its top speed I left much room for drivers wanting to pass me. But today it happend two times that I got ****ed by the penalty system. People try to pass you on the tightest sections on the track, inevitably banging you and then bouncing back into the Armco. Penalty logic: Car A had Contact with Car B, then Car A hit the Barrier -> Car B pushed Car A -> +3s for Car B.

It‘s just ridiculous. Even more ridiculous when you get forcibly passed by drivers with 8s (or more) penalty time.

I will take part in the Manufacturers cup tomorrow and I really hope for clean racing. For the dailies I‘m thinking of transforming into Harvey Two-Face: resignate and ruin the race of everybody trying to pass in unsafe track sections. To hell with SR! Nobody seems to care so why should I do!?

I will be in the Manufacturers Cup as well. Will be looking for you.
What team ?

I can't take the aliens head on, so what do I do? Not play in the evening of course :p It worked like a charm. After improving my qualifying time to 1:31.617 at Interlagos, I jumped into the 11:30am race to find myself on pole by only .03s :nervous: I was actually surprised at how calmly I drove during the race, because I was anxious during warm-up. A good Senna S right off the bat was all it took for the fellow R8 driver in P2 to lose my slipstream and it was all smooth sailing afterwards. Said R8 made a mistake on lap 2 and got passed by an RC F and a Mustang. Chaos ensued as he dropped down the order and recovered to 4th. Meanwhile, I took my 36th win and a clean race bonus 2.7 seconds clear of the Lexus  I also clocked three 1:32.1 laps in a row during the race

Q lap here. I probably thought I was in Initial D going through the Senna S and lost a tenth and a bit (got style points though ). The rest of the lap was fire. I'm really satisfied with it and even more so because it's a very competitive track / class combo :) BB set to -3.

I don’t think so, just share it and make sure you tag it so you can find it again, then download it from your other account. That’s what I do. :)

I'm testing the waters on Tokyo again today. It's not that bad atcually right now. The schools aren't out yet. I did have to 'educate' a blocker. I was close behind 3rd coming to the final turn. He went wide, already expecting him to turn in sharp to try to block my line, I compromised my exit by leaving 2/3rds of the road unused, got to stay near the inside wall in case. And yep, he kept on turning to hit my side to prevent me from getting any good exit. So I tapped the inside wall at corner exit and he got 1 sec penalty. He decided to serve that in front of me while blocking. Bad move, I gave him one more chance to let me pass, but he copied my moves to block me again. Thus I waited until close to the finish, tapped his bumper then the wall. He finished 3rd initially, then dropped to 7th with his new 3 sec penalty. You think he'll swerve block again? He left the room straight away.

I do exactly the same thing, run exactly the same lines when I run there. How come I can't get below 1:33?:irked:

I missed a race so I went to play with the livery editor for a bit while I waited, ended up being in there for while, just so I could take this one photo.

Just so I could swipe back and forth between it and this one from a few weeks ago.

I may have smoked one too many again, back to racing. :D

They‘re cool but imho the logo of the austrian lemonade mixer is used inflationary and gets boring. I got my Mustang-Livery ready for a car which was originally a Ford Capri Mk-IIIwith an Off-Works Turbo-Engine built and operated by Zakspeed. This Group 5 monster used up to 1.8 bars of boost pressure and was capable if reaching 350kmh. Too bad you can only race the „Turbo Capri“ in PC2. But imho my livery is a valid compensation. ;)

Btw. the sponsor „Mampe“ was a german liquor manufacturer famous for their „Halb und Halb“ (Half and Half) which was a Liquor made from over 100 herbs and mixed with bitter oranges. Something like RB but more 70‘s style.:lol:

Since you didn't specify the car, I'll have to tell you to use the Audi. If you're using TCS, try to switch it off because it cripples your corner exits. Otherwise, send me a video of your best Q lap, I'll be happy to help you :)
