How is Race B tonight in the EU, set a 1.33.5 earlier so would be lower grid I’d guess with that is it clean?
 
My first race on Interlagos, punted twice in the first lap, then having to race the back field which due to match making was interesting. It's hard to race people with very different braking points, plus the difference between 919s and Mazda doesn't help. They guy who punted me was apparently ramming other people as well, he was downgraded to SR.D (from S). I kept a blue rating, no penalties for getting punted, improvement.

I could make it only 1:35.7 in the McLaren, p4 behind Toyota VGTs, d*mn it

Similar thing happened to me. A Swiss guy (normally associated with being neutral) decided to squeeze up the inside of hairpin after turn 6 (ferradura) and also hit me off track. He gthen a 10 second penalty and downgraded to SR A.

Any driver that falls from Dr S to Dr D in one race should be parked for a few days. That is abhorrent.
 
Stuck in the 1.35s in race b. Cant get a really clean/perfect lap. Reckon a 1.34 is in there. Using the m coupe its nippy but not stable!
 
Race B should be fun, but Race C is where I'll focus all my effort tonight. Unfortunately, I have a long day of classes ahead of me.

I've won many races at Interlagos, but never in Gr1. It'd be really nice to get one there tonight!

Okay here we go. I've got a 1:20.996 at Lagos. I'm not sure how much more I can get, so hopefully this will be enough to get me a good starting spot to get a win!
 
My sportsmanship has been around 99 for 100 days, today it dropped 30 points.

I received probably 4 penalties for other people hitting me from behind, t boning me, and one for no apparent reason at all.

What on earth is going on?

If penalties are assigned, at least tell us why. I really can’t figure it out.
 
Is it just me or were today’s race groupings a lot better than normal. Seemed less Before now it seemed a little more evenly matched races today Or maybe I just had one of those good days where I did meet up with any door banging ass clowns
 
Well what an evening! I can only apologise for my racing tonight to anyone who had the displeasure of racing me!!

Some reason in race was miles of the pace. Had a reasonable quali at 1.33.0 on Race B but in the race good grief was I bad. So so slow nothing short of a moving road block, wanted to use my RSR but it was miles of so had to use FT1, for some reason again in race compared to quali felt different, just everyone seemed to have so much more speed.

Ended 100 DR down and at SRA, overall a pretty demoralising evening of racing! Sorry again to everyone, I’ll try to turn up next time!
 
GR.1 on Interlagos is usually one of my strongest races: My qualifying time is around 1:19.6 with the Mazda LM55. I've won a couple of races today, but should have won at least two or three more. Consistency is definitely my biggest weakness with GTS.
 
I lost 10 times of that 4 times at Interlagos and Brands on Monday as I couldn‘t get my **** together :boggled: 🤬

Happens all the time to me it seems, tonight was particularly bad! I usually build my speed the more races I do, week days I can’t race till late so I can’t build up that speed and a I get stuck in the same loop!

Set my sights on getting to DRS, but tonight’s performance I shouldn’t be there! When my SR dropped I actually got a pole for a change and still messed up and came second!!!
 
I don't understand why driver ratings change so slowly. On Tuesday, I ignored a penalty on Monza for the Group 4 race, and ended up getting disqualified with a 1:20 penalty for not serving the original penalty quick enough. One which was unfair I might add. After that race, my driver rating still sat at DR A and SR A, but when I went on yesterday, my DR had dropped to a B and my SR dropped to a D. Ugh. Hardly surprising though, but I did increase my SR yesterday to an A after winning the Group 1 race by 15 seconds.
 
On my side, Race A is great for me today. I won 8 races iirc. And I was good at Monza yesterday too. 7 races, 7 wins iirc. Shame that the gt stats site doesn't update for now...
 
It would be nice if the aggression level could be toned down a bit in lap 1 on Interlagos

One race I get surprised by a last second block, fail to suddenly brake faster or go around. Then get hit from behind, knocked out of T2. Avoid a dive bomb in T4 yet that makes me miss my turn in, get bumped again. Then avoid a penalty server on the way to T6, car behind me doesn't slow down, pinball time. From 7th to 13th to 8th in lap 1. I made up more positions during the rest of the race, finished 5th I think.


Next race I go all defensive, slow down for accidents which promptly gets taken advantage off and go from 9th to 18th in half a lap. The rest of the race went great, finished 7th. All those first lap warriors couldn't hold out. Clean race bonus and no red dot.


It's possible to have a good first lap as well, yet not with too many A/S in the room :/
Stop trying to win the race in the first lap...
 
Daily Race B today. The driver with the fastest lap of the day doesn't necessarily mean they'll try to win and lose cleanly and fairly. Watch.
