So if I get this right, I lost 31000 points cause of penalties of people ramming me. Went from 46800 to 15000 because my SR was knocked down due to bad drivers. And the one that did it had a penalty also and won the race and had a blue s after

What do the lambo's do better in a race?
When I was ahead before my penalty, it seemed to work better in the final chicane, over the curbs. It has good drive out of turns. Pretty quick acceleration.

We were overtaking each other a couple times. He/she was using the wide lines at turn 1 and the u-turn. I choose to hug the inside lines.

Awd has an advantage to an extent, but the 4c and 86 are just very nimble. It comes down to fuel I believe. Tires probably wear more on the lambo

Yes. I was still quicker than them in my 86. I'm just comfortable using it. Smooth handling for me. Love the sound and the steering wheel. The view out, is good for sighting the track corners as well.

I pit early, from laps 8-10. Fill up and bang out quick laps. While most cars run on old "rubber" to pit, usually, 4laps later. I manage the gap for about the last 5 laps.

I think I've filled 16.3-16.8 laps of fuel pitting from lap 8-10. Still finishing with about 2+ laps left. Leaving it on Map 1.

Yeah that's what was happening in my races as well, very fast out of last turn, but slow in T1.

Anyone mess with torque on the audi? feel like i got the lines down but the power lets me down at times. still winning though so i shouldn't be complaining too much

So the strangest thing happened today in race A NURB GP, GOLF VII

So I don't like to qualify in race A so I start in the rear. On my second race I was next to last with a person from Brazil behind me. When the race started everyone and everything was normal except for that person behind me. He came speeding past me and the next 5 people in front of me like he had an extra 100hp than the rest of us.

Once past T1 he seemed to slow back down to the same speed as everyone eles for the rest of the race. just seemed very suspicious to me.

sounds to me like the rolling start glitch....not sure if I should call it a glitch or not, but there are several ways rolling starts can get screwed.

Sometimes the pack is split, top half from bottom half, 5 seconds between the groups by the time the race actually starts. Other times, the people in the back are either cut loose sooner or start at a significantly higher speed than others. I've been on the good and bad end of this issue more than once.

Makes since as I've seen this happen in lobby races more than a few times but it was my first experience with this issue in Sport Mode.

If you thought you were having a bad day, I just found this on someones profile lmao.

Come from behind victory. Epic final 3 laps. Atenza in front, WRX behind. Me in the middle. Outbraked the Atenza at the hairpin on the last lap. Cool stuff.

A win is okay, but having fun, is paramount to me.
Went up 12 places is not an easy task on this track. How can you manage it?

Other than the people that make mistakes, clear track. When I see a train of 4 cars, I catch up, then pit. Fresher tyres and clear track to do qualifying laps. That's it. No magic tricks.

Just did a race where another player overcooked the corner. I got alongside, backed off. They overcooked the next esses, came across and hit me. I got a penalty.

Then, I did another lap. Pit. Came out in clear air, but a lap down. Got my lap back before the leader pit and still caught up to finish 9th.

Thanks for the good info. Hoping to race some tonight. I'll give this a try.

I just raced against the player with this fastest time in the Americas region at BB Raceway with me having the second fastest time, and I still got slammed into the wall exiting turn 1 on lap 1. So if you've been unfairly wrecked in Race B, maybe you can find comfort in the fact that it can happen to literally anyone.

Here that race(screen clip, until I can find out how to record with telemetry for the full race): From lap 5

Edit: video not loading to YouTube.
Video above is last race.

I can't not race for a day and since the dailies are too awful I tried a lobby for a change. I first tried to search for Nur24, nothing going on apart from almost empty rooms. Nordschleife had one room with 8 people, GR.3 BoP, sounds decent. Corvette it is.

First race the other cars seem to be on rails, what's going on. Then I remember you can change tires in lobbies, everyone is on super soft ugh. I try super soft the next race, it feels so wrong. Not wanting to ruin my rhythm on the Nord I switch back to hard for the next race and already go wide on some turns after one race on cheater tires :/

The race after I have my clean race bonus back yet I'm still slow in corners and keep getting bumped from behind by all these on rails cars. Besides that the standard of driving is pretty crap. You can't see if people have lag yet they either have a lot of lag or enjoy driving on the grass half the time. I'm either slowing down extra to avoid the erratic cars in front of me or getting bumped by super softies going around corners. And they still slow down to serve shortcut penalties then block without consequences....

At least the host didn't wait very long between races, and it briefly filled up to 16 people. Then he left and the room quickly emptied out. Game over. Too much effort to find another room.

Matchmaking isn't great in sport mode, yet still much better than who ever walks in.

Miyabi was surprisingly fun. Raced with As and A+s. Tough but clean battles from start to finish. Almost a One Make race with only a couple of Huracans and one crazy guy who picked the Nissan (and he did well for a car that is not the best for fast corners, quite the opposite of the Alfa). Would love to see this race happening again in the future.

Does anyone know the top times for race B in other regions? These are the top times for the Americas region.
