Congratulations on your wins, however looking at your KP profile I'm glad we're on different servers

I managed one win this afternoon on Alsace, also after dropping down in SR a bit. One 10 sec penalty in one race from an early braker (no harm) dropped me to 88. Enough to go from qualifying 8th to 2nd and win with the fastest lap.

The KTM is actually quite nice to drive around Alsace. It was pretty clean as well and I had some nice tight battles for position. It took 3 clean races just to recover from that single 11 point drop from one little tap. Total opposite of a daily C.

Crap, my ps4 pro took too long to start up, guess I'm doing a destruction derby first, at crash happy hour. Daily B at 7:10 pm

And that had nothing to do with racing whatsoever. I reported the whole room, PD don't do that track car combo again. I lost 24 SR in that one race, lost count how many times I got hit, started 10th, got to first somehow, finished 9th. Got penalties for getting punted into other cars and simply being on the wrong side when getting bumped, including a nice 10 second one where there was no harm to anyone. Car in pole got knocked to SR.B with 29 sec in penalties.

And I wondered why there were zero qualifying times for that track in my friend's time list...

No chance for redemption at the daily C, disconnected from network, and guess what, the next race up is the daily B again! Oh well, it's been a week since I had the joy of racing in SR.B.

Next race, 2 cheaters on #1 and #2, 1:07 quali time, sure. Ha you can report them for illicit activity before the race starts, done. Surprisingly SR 75 is 3000% cleaner than SR 99. Only 3 people to report this race for deliberate ramming. I finish with a blue S no SR Down, SR drops from 75 to 67. PD logic. Actually KP recorded SR 59 at 8pm, so it went up 8 points for that race and that disconnect somehow cost 16 points. Maybe my car hit someone when my connection crapped out?

Did one more derby, so I'm synced back up with the daily C schedule. Got mangled at the start, 12 sec penalty getting bumped and pushed into 2 other cars, 3 reported for interfering, 1 for illicit activity (impossible qualy time) SR down to 51.

NGP it is, no more disconnects please!

NGP at SR.B 8:30 pm race, dirty. I get bumped from behind by 2 cars in T1, yet avoid penalties. However later in T1 lap 4 someone goes for the inside, I give him a ton of room, he goes far wide and manages to clip me on the way by, 10 sec penalty. At the end of the race collision detection gives up and cars just drive through each other at will. 6 people reported after checking the replay, SR remains unchanged. I'm pretty sure it's not a full moon tonight, close to the opposite. Must be the Megane effect.

Ha, I'm so off tonight, the next race I miss the start and get alerted by my DS4 vibrating on the floor. Due to the standing start it took quite long to roll down the hill into the sand. I start the race 1 minute 2 seconds behind last, eventually over take one car, time out 2.5 sec behind the next one. +12 SR for that shameful race. Kids are in bed now, no more distractions!
Oh and dropped to DR.B of course due to my negligence.

Don't know how you have the balls to post this here. Your KudosPrime is appalling. How you are even proud of this behavior is beyond me

Race A is pretty easy today. A lot of people hates Alsace, so it probably helps. I got the 6th qualifying time in America and I won 3 races out of 3. Time to farm some DR points ahah.

I tried to get back my DR points before bed, as server maintenance today, no luck. Got more familiar with the Megan Trophy and the track, but nothing to write home about. :boggled:

Wow, SR.B has changed! So much shameless contact, driving people off, constant last second blocking. Perhaps it would be better of the rear view mirror got disabled as it's only use atm seems to be to block the car behind at all cost.

The start went ok for me, however 3 corners later, 2 cars in front of me, one close behind. The car on the inside in front of me loses control, hits the car on the outside, I try to avoid yet the car behind me bumps me into the car on the outside that's instantly slowed from bumping the car spinning out. I get a 5 sec penalty and SR Down. I get bumped around a couple more times in the race as well as punted off yet avoid hitting anyone else. Still 4 SR down for getting involved in that accident.

Was it you @Invisigoth that said you suspected that SR up seems less while having a penalty on the clock? I drove on with that 5 sec for the entire race, stayed on the track at all times except for the once time I got bumped off. Lot\s of SR up arrows yet still a red B at the end for one 5 sec penalty?

I guess after my break I'll serve any lap 1 accident penalty straight away and see if that makes a difference. The penalty system is so broken anyway. I reported 4 very dirty drivers which I repeatedly saw forcing and bumping people off. 2 had a blue rating at the end, one neutral and just one red. Somehow I'm worse than all these punters for being in the wrong place once in the race?

Anyway, I was curious what effect the penalty changes had on SR.B, seems I'm getting my answer. Crash happy hour should have been over by now!

Hmm, back from my break. No penalties, only +5 SR for the race. Too many people using me as a guide rail. I updated my quali time, starting 6th now instead of 16th. Hopefully less rubbing!

Dropped to 10th in the first few corner chaos but remained penalty free. Pit for an extra lap of fuel in lap 2 as I was stuck behind a bunch of messy drivers anyway. Finished 3rd in the end and of course ran into a very dirty driver on the way up. Swerve blocking, pushing into the wall, cutting off, bumping wide from behind, serving penalty and unghosting right in front, every trick in the book, however the penalty system saw through him and kept me in the clear. He eventually had to give up on his antics. I advanced to SR.A, he dropped to SR.C. Still only +7 SR the race, long way up tonight.

Not me brah. I never really gave it much thought. If my penalty is less than 5s I generally just carry it to the end of the race. For a race A or B any orange SR is very hard to end without SR loss. It can be done but you usually only get back 1 or 2 pts. Race C is far more forgiving if you can stay out of trouble.

Race C is definitely not forgiving tonight.

The next race I start in 7th, drop to 11th avoiding all the aggressive stuff in T1, of course now I'm behind that aggression. At the end of the first lap the car in front dives too fast into the chicane, hits the car in front of him and stalls while bumping the car in front ahead. The car beside me decides to dive for that gap and throws his car sideways in my path. I have nowhere to go, my jump button doesn't work and to make it worse traffic from behind piles into me as well. 10 sec penalty for me, I serve it straight away, pit in lap 1 cause why not.

Serving straight away doesn't help for SR recovery -3 SR for the race. Still a longer way back up. Finished 7th despite practically starting from last again. Hmm things went a lot better without qualifying. Next race is loading, starting 6th. Danger Will Robinson.

And the same thing again. Started 6th, door banging in T1 yet I keep 6th place and no penalty!!! Never mind, in the U-turn I get punted off into the sand while being careful with the cars in front of me. I drop to 15th and now have a whole pack of unruly yellow Meganes with flashing penalty signs buzzing in front of me. Off to the pit in lap 1 again, race from last again, and finish 7th again. However +11 SR for that race, best so far tonight! SR 79 now, starting to get there.

Next race loading, starting 5th. I need to find my hat to hold on to. It's a BAABBABABBAA room both in SR and DR with a few D's thrown in.

I hold on to my 5th place in the first few turns, then 2 dirty drivers force there way past me. I can't stop them bumping me out of the way, too risky, penalties come from any side. The first one bumps past me, doesn't get a penalty. Second one does get a penalty, I remain clear. Then I safely watch them happily bump each other and get the car in front of them involved in an all round shoving match. Eventually they all crash one another while the last one runs himself into a wall. I emerge in 3rd after the pit, yet drop to 4th as there's another risky dirty driver on my heels. 4 people reported, +8 SR, 87 now. One clean race could do it, however I haven't seen a clean race yet today.

Starting 8th, will this be the last one. It's all SR.S One A+ on 2nd, rest B to D. Chance of chaos, about 99%.

Clean, no. Yet for once I get lucky in the T1 chaos. The usual mess, pole gets punted, big pile-up, lots of smoke, stopped cars, ghosted cars, the usual. Despite hitting a stopped car in front of me I remain penalty free and when the smoke clears I'm in 7th. Some dirty stuff in front ensues but it resolves itself quickly thanks to the penalty system actually working for a change. Just one more dirty driver behind me works himself past me and takes himself out in T1 lap 2.

Now I'm in 4th, starting a 5 lap long chase of 3rd. I pass him in lap 4 on the way to the chicane yet he bump passes me in the chicane. Nobody goes off, he takes the position back, no penalties. Meanwhile the original pole sitter is driving patiently behind me letting me get another go at this guy. In lap 6 I get a better run at him on the way to the chicane again and now I'm 2 car lengths ahead. Pole position stuck right behind me and passes him as well so he bumps pole position instead of me at the chicane.

The bumper pits and the car in front pits, so now I'm in 2nd with pole position behind me. Without any traffic in front of me it doesn't take long until he gets on my right on the way to T6. We go in side by side, slight touch in the middle and he comes out ahead. No penalties phew! He deserved that pass showing patience for 6 laps after getting punted right at the start.

I'm in 3rd now. Pole is fast, good he can tow me for as long as I can hold on. First place runs out of fuel at the end of lap 7, back to 2nd place. I stick with pole, however I have to pit at the end of 8 for 1 more lap of fuel. Of course pole position is a no stopper, which is why he was so content following me for 6 laps, so congratulations, you win. I come out the pit in 3rd, giving the place back that I gained when the clean driver in front went for a pit stop in 6. The bumper stays behind.

And that's where I finish. Awesome race, SR back to 99, DR almost back to A. Mission accomplished.

I've thought something different, the sooner you serve a penalty the less negative impact it has upon SR. Just a feeling, no hard data to prove or disprove. It doesn't take into account the weird things that happen, like getting the clean race bonus and an SR drop. I've even gotten the trifecta once ( pole, fast lap, win ) and lost both DR and SR.

I couldn't find a pattern in it while racing tonight. It's probably all the other little rubs and bumps that although not your fault, no SR down, no penalty, still add to SR loss regardless. Every contact is SR loss. The ones that show SR down and/or give you a time penalty count a lot more heavy.

You keep the clean bonus when other people hit you and you don't get SR Down or penalties. You still keep it when another driver punts you off the road or into a short cut. You lose it when you avoid another car and take a voluntary shortcut or wide penalty.... When you get run off onto a run off area make sure they make contact on the way to the run off area, otherwise you get a penalty for using the run off area for what it's meant for.....

I just had an amazing ride for today's daily! I qualified 6th- 1st and 2nd are in the Top 10. T1 began and... no carnage! :D I almost got spun by someone who was run wide because of the amount of people at the apex, but all is good. First 3 laps are side-by-side action and just a whole lot of fun! I dropped to 10th and my lap times are a 2:07 after 2:07, but I was able to climb up to 8th after collecting some people who made mistakes. In the end, some people weren't able to make the fuel last the whole race distance and had to pit, so that got me propelled to 4th. Quite happy with it :D
My strategy is shortshifting all the time; no messing around with the fuel map

Now now, I hear some of you "but what about the penalties?". Well, guess what? I didn't have any :D even got a clean race bonus to boot! There is side-by-side contact as well. I'm also quite glad to see so much respect from people in a daily :)

And finally, I found 3 wild Filipinos lying around the race! How cool is that :D (and another 1 whose mother is a Filipino married to an Australian father. Funny thought: I have a cousin who's exactly in the same situation :p not that he'd play racing games though ;w; )
Sounded like you had a good time then. What would make it better is you accepting my friend request:lol: It's fubbles888.

Yeah Audi looked reasonably fast :)

I had an Audi, Merc SLS and me in a Golf VGT in my race trying to keep up with the Peugeot VGT. Was reasonably close ( I finished 8 secs of the winner when started from 6th) and all I had to do was a bit of short shifting and a drop to fuel mix 2 after the straight on the last lap.

Golf and Peugeot are pretty close in a straight line. I came out of the last corner pretty much alongside one in one of the laps (no slipstream fro either) and he had about a car length at the end of the straight, so worth trying the Golf VGT out.

I tried again with the BMW Walkenhorst but misjudged the fuel and ran out just before the line, came in 7th. As usual the main problem on Tokyo is getting rammed in to the wall at T1, someone came barreling down the inside and pushed me into another racer got one of those lovely 10 second penalties. Still was silver SR at the end so no major panic, am currently SR 41 so every race am risking a reset.

Edit: One more go with the Audi I thought, same tactics as earlier just a one stop and a little fuel saving..

Yeh, I've had races where I haven't had any orange SR but still had my SR drop by a point or two. It's kinda sneaky :odd:.

Do we know what the one make is on Big Willow? X-Bow again?

Well where to start with last night?

It's probably the most challenging yet exciting evening I have had in all my time with GT Sport, I have never been as focussed
and under pressure as I felt last night racing the Megane Trophy at Nurburgring.

I decided to have a quick try at Group B - 23 SR points lost so race blacklisted from now on.

My plan for the day had been to start from the back and work on SR so I enter the first race at Nurburgring from 20th place but it became
clear immediately that people were not crashing the Megane Trophy at all during the race so after pit stops and a heavy fuel map I finished
that race 8th place. 👍

Second race I qualified with a 2:13 time but still start at the back and not so impressive finish this time with a 12th place from 16th.

Knuckle down, drive an extremely intense set of qualifying laps through and eventually score a 2:07.

Various races follow with mixed finish results, the best results being a 4th and two 5th places and one accursed 10 second penalty
which was brilliantly served by everyone piling into the pits on Lap 6 so I stay out and serve my penalty and only loose a place at
the pit stop for the 4th place finish.

DR points is 8582 and after the huge loss of SR I got it back to 76 points.

So tonight is Tokyo Expressway but I have no idea which car I will go for as my best time is with the Peugeot VGT Grp 3 but not sure
if I can do any quicker.

The AMG worked for me. However, it was a stoooopid race. I don't know if the Slophy is worse or the P.U.GoAway.

The car "goes plaid" down the straight. In the corners, it handles like jell-o. Again, don't use the car, if you can't control it. I got 40 seconds total, in penalties from the same player.

I gave it room at T1, the esses, the over pass, the hairpin. Still, bouncing off walls and over shooting and swerving back onto the racing line.

Then, with 2 laps left. I think it had to pit. I did the cross cross at the hairpin. I use the left lane down thd straight. Instead of sitting behindv me, the fool tries to pass me while deciding to pit. Tried to bump me into the pits when we're near pit entrance. The fool goes slideways into the pits, as I'm gathering myself. Unbelievable!

Edit: Oh yeah... and a Slophy got dealt with
From 4:55

How can I be a dirty driver?

You've falling to Sr E numerous times and have had numerous Dr resets due to poor Sr.

I don't see how a 24 second clip of you being knocked out of the way shows you are not a dirty driver.

You've played 108 days but only had 99/99 Sr 8 times.
