Look like Veyron and Renault users morphed into Evo users.

Your results yesterday have given me some encouragement to try something similar when I get back to the game
after my anime convention this week as that's something I've wanted to try but felt needed to get more track
experience before doing so.

Hopefully something I will comment on in the not too distant future.

Looking forward to today's Gr1 race at Le Mans.

I would really like to see a Gr1 race at Suzuka next week. Its always been a favorite event of mine and unfortunately it very rarely comes up as an event.

The last time I raced there was phenomenally fun. You have to be nearly perfect every lap or you'll have an off. The last time I won there was simply because the leader couldn't keep it on the track!

Even when I wasn't finishing well there, I was still having a lot of fun. Tough, but fun!

YASSSSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR LITERALLY MONTHS! THEY NEVER DO THIS BUT ITS MY FAVORITE EVENT EVER!

Thank you PD! :gtpflag:

Saturday 28th July
Race A
Monza no chicane

Substitute 1st chicane chaos for second chicane

Happy days for the following Sunday though....Mount Panorama Gr3 Race C

Alright, Race B boiz
Did a quick quali lap just before the start of the race. 2:27.430. Not bad if I do say so myself :)
Using the M4 as well, since I got an attachment to it during its meta era :O
First race started 5th, finished 5th
Edit:
Sooooo GTS crashed on me right after the warm-up :dopey:
it's a racing incident, I did not touch it, my racing line was ok and I did not get a penalty, it got a penalty
Think of this as the second incident in your second video at the other thread complaining about penalties. The situation was more or less the same, except that you got away with it. You could say it was a racing incident, but again as the role of the attacker you have to compensate for the speed of the defender. He braked too early? Compensate. It's his job to control the pace, and your job is to pass them despite his control of the track.

But anyway, let's focus on his hostility towards you. I want you to take out any context that you know beforehand, and any biases you have. Start with a blank state of mind, and let's go from there

Now, look from the perspective of the person who hit you. What happened at 2:40, from his perspective? You barged passed them. Again, I don't want you to include any personal bias or personal context, this is all coming from his perspective. From their perspective you simply barge passed them and then moved on with the race. What would that driver feel? They would be certainly frustrated. People who say "race clean or I'll put you in the wall" are dime a dozen in this game, and that person may just be one of them.

I do not in any way condone either your barge pass nor their hostility, but rather I want to explain why they did that

Sorry mods, I thought someone else posted something while I was warming up for the race :(

I had a victory in my hands but the dirty driver destroyed :(

I still had good races today, 4 wins and 2nd place 3rd and 4th place

*I made that last bit up, I'm not sure if he'd be quick enough to race with those guys.

TRL_Jesus is a real player?!
Okay @Sven Jurgens

I'm about to try this no qualifying thing for today's race B.
OH YEAH BABY COME HERE ON THE FUN TRAIN

yes you did touch. I can hear it. Stop lying.

And just because you didn't get a penalty, doesn't mean you did nothing wrong. GT Sport doesn't have a very good penalty system.

What? Full stop as in end of discussion?

Race B for me. I qualified in the Viper, and I thought I had things pretty well much in hand. Then I looked at the leader board and was beat over the head with the reality that, lets be honest here... I suck! This was made all the more apparent when I started on the grid P11/15 :dunce:. There were 4 DR/Cs, the rest Bs.

The race starts, I make it through T1 in tact and through the esses, round the next corner and drifted over to port ready for the starboard tack. Sadly DP decided to give me a smaller anchor for the race than qualifying, and even with some frantic down shifting could not keep it on the course. Luckily I stopped short of the dock, but it cost me bulk positions. Away I went, sails unfurled and managed to slowly re-gain a couple of positions. I had a bit of a dice with one car, swapping positions with a lot of side by side racing. We came to the buoy for a sharp starboard tack just after the wall, side by side. He had the inside and there was enough room for us both. It was nail biting :scared:, when my thumb twitched just a tiny bit. It was enough to put two tyres on the grass which then had me all on the grass and another 2 positions lost . Third to last corner and I was in real danger of going on to the grass, then the guy behind me decided the grass was where I should be. In the end I finished P14. The guy in front had a flashing penalty, yet when the results came in he didn't even have a red dot .

DR down 700, SR up 7. I get the impression a Race B with no penalties is worth 7 SR. Not exactly the finish I'd hoped for and wondering what might have been, but I won't give in to the temptation of redemption. With another match up like that, I'd only loose more. I'll wait for Race C.

Penalties are irrelevant in this case.

You hit him first. You knocked him wide. You went past.

You are the dirty driver in that video. He was just retaliating.

First race of no qualifying went south cause I'm an idiot :banghead::banghead::banghead: @Sven Jurgens @Alpha Cipher

FOR SOME REASON I FIGURED HE'D GHOST AND

Watched out for parked cars!

Always assume ghosting is out to get you, I've hit actual ghosted cars. I only did one non qualifier yesterday and regretted qualifying after. Actually I did another one later when I missed the start, went from 5th to last rolling into the wall, then finished 4th. Better to go to last voluntarily then get punted to last in T1 or T2, Monza!

I'm clean, I do not have a penalty
I know I'm dirty in your eyes

Again...there's something really wrong with the DR distribution system - did 4 races on Race B, started from 10th to 14th and at worst I kept the position or gained 1 or 2 positions - on each lobby at least 2 or 3 drivers were from top 10, some A+, some S, and rest of them A (I'm A/S) and at the end I lost almost 1K DR from all those races even though I did relatively well having in mind all the people in the lobby.

On the side note - one time I got matched against D/S drivers, started from pole, beat the second with 14 seconds and got 500 DR ......

If it makes you feel better I lost 1k because my game crashed right at the start.

Same as suprajef's situation ;w;
I'm taking a break for now since my game's mysteriously crashing more than it should usually be

Sounds like you've been matched into some harsh lobbies.

Did you save your replays?

It will all be to do with your number on your car in comparison to your finishing position.

If you had number 3 on your car and finished 12th, that's a lot of lower ranked drivers finishing before you.

Doesn't help that it's race B so not much time to gain places if you're starting midfield.

I'm clean, I do not have a penalty
Yesterday in the FIA races, a driver who did not want me passing him swerved into me in a straight line, putting half of my car onto the grass. He didn't get a penalty. As a result of that contact, I got a bit squirrely and lost my braking point into the next corner, and hit the inside of him, resulting in him running wide. I didn't get a penalty. Following that second contact, he chose to smash into me at full speed at the next corner's braking zone, resulting in me running wide. He didn't get a penalty.

You braked too late into the Dragon Trial first hairpin in your video, and hit another driver.

That fact that you didn't get a penalty doesn't mean anything with regards to your driving standards. You hit another driver, in a braking zone, on the track, with no loss of control as an excuse, and overtook him for the position you'd just hit him out of. That's fairly poor behaviour - and it's not that surprising that he decided to ruin your race at the next opportunity. Although that action wasn't really justifiable, it's not a shock and, given that the whole thing was precipitated by your own actions in the first place, it's rather rich that you decided to name and shame him on here as a dirty driver.

Well Race C. I used to have a good relationship with the circuit, but not in GTS :(. I tried 8 cars, and none of them I felt comfortable with. In the end the car that seemed to work, sort of, was the Beetle. Given the crappy laps I was doing, I was expecting to start the first position before the non-qualifiers. Was a little surprised to start P11. The grid was a mix of DR/B and C.

Made it through the first corner and focused mainly on just staying on the track. At one point I was in P8, which is where I was hoping to finish. Eventually I had someone knocking on my rear bumper and the way he was going, it was only a matter of time before he pushed me off, so I let him through. Only got 5 laps out of the bug, and the tyres felt a bit squiffy, so I changed boots and got under way. Coming up to the chicane before pitting, the guy behind me, who was also pitting, felt the need to ram me :banghead:. I was barely able to stop from going off circuit, which was his opportunity to push past me so he could enter the pits a couple of tenths ahead of me :dunce:.

There was a train of cars coming out of the pits, some of which went off at the first corner. I managed to make it up to P10, when the moron behind me on the final lap decided to try passing me in the chicane and pushed me into the on the sand on the exit, thus dropping me down to P12, where I finished.

DR dropped by about 40, SR back up to 99. Considering how uneasy I felt entering the race, I call this not a total disaster :). Another day visiting DR/C :dopey:.

My door number was always lower tha my starting position, eg door number 15 - I finish 11th - still lose dr points ...

Probably met you in race C today, fun races as races are generally evenly matched (no Dr.A) and clean. Suzuka is so much fun, even as my DR is tumbling while playing with TC off..

On a grid of mixed DRs. door number is meaningless. It's assigned alphabetically. I was on a grid with DR/As and Bs. As a DR/D who qualified second last with 1 DR point, I was assigned 1 as my door number :dunce:. By your reckoning, I should have finished 1st in order not to loose points. I finished somewhere just below the middle. I gained points. ;)

Not so sure. I have no idea under what flag you race. I'm in the Asia region.
