Or make Race B the same length as C. 6.5 - 7 min races are over in no time.

Whenever I'm doing multiple races, I often see the same people who were in previous lobbies. It's clear to me that people aren't satisfied with Race B being limited to 3 laps and crave for more.

I would love the race B to be 5 laps, no tire or fuel. Even 6 or 7. It's the ability to jump right in without having to work on strategy, just to go flat out racing that I fancy.
I recognize that the ability to preserve tires and fuel and go no-stop in race C is a skill more like real racing, but I really doesn't have neither the skill nor the inclination (or time) to race like that. But I would love race B to be longer.

Maybe they like short sprint races like that, without tyre wear and fuel usage? I know I do. Your interpretation seems a little biased.

I said the same length as Race C. That doesn't mean with tyre wear and fuel consumption. I'd be fine with it staying the same without wear/consumption.

Of course, I can't account for everyone and know there are those who prefer short sprint races but if I often see repeat people in lobbies and sometimes up to 3 or 4 additional times, the general consensus -at least to me- is that people would prefer if the race was longer.

I said before how races would be more interesting, fulfilling and people would be less encouraged resorting to aggressive/ambitious driving to make up places if there were more laps. That could only be a good thing in my eyes.

Has anyone experienced this recently?

Starting last week whenever I touch the brakes my entire screen shakes violently. Doesn't matter how hard or soft I touch the brakes... Is this something new? I have over 1,000 online races and never had this happen before.

I'm using the DS4 controller on a PS4 pro.

It makes the game almost unplayable.

How is your controller configured? Only thing that immediately comes to mind that could cause that effect is the camera control button.

In terms of Race B I like the "all out" comparison it makes to Race C, HOWEVER - I'd like it to be "long enough not to promote frantic dive bombing on every lap." Whatever number of laps that is, jostle at the beginning, settle in to packs, learnt those around you, then a jostle in the last lap(s). But so few laps that that is all one blurry dive fest is often a bit messy.

I actually just figured it out....it wasn't the controller config, it was actually the controller itself. I switched to a different controller and the issue went away. The L2 trigger must be going wonky.

I can't believe it took me this long to try another controller. SMH

I have only tried Race A & B.
Race B could be longer, but I believe 3 laps is the sweet spot for this track.
Anything more, and it would be a mix of pitting strategy.

Race A is a snorefest in my opinion.
The M3 is drifty and that also means that Suzuka short could be potential for SR loss so I have barely touched it.

I didn't bother with Race C because I am not skilled enough with F1 cars.

The date is incorrect as all races start in 3 days time.

I really like Kyoto Driving Park. I thought about competing in the FIA there last week. It's such a good track to get into a sweet rhythm in.

Autopolis is still a new track for me, but with some time to practice, maybe I can make it work. I'll throw some practice laps down and see how it goes. Any good Gr 3 cars there? I've been enjoying the Vette and the Mustang, and the Beetle is comfortable too. Anything else I should try?

Hmm. Japanese week for the dailies. Not sure about all this. Will enjoy my chaotic disasters in race C for now. Think I have a handle on Autopolis for next week but not really in GR3. I am useless at the other 2 tracks. Time to play some other games or learn the livery editor better. Still struggling to get decals in some places.

Did race C two nights this week. Got addicted and went from 11pm till 5am both times.......and had to be up at 7am lol. Whyyy did I do this to myself lol.

First attempt at race C got pole with a 1:26.7xx and had what I thought was an easy win doing a no stop, until I saw the 20sec penalty for not running hards. Should have read the rules lol. Knocked me down to 5th. Did a few more races had two 2nds and two1st place finishes. Both of my 2nds were strategy mistakes not realizing how fast the pit stop is here.

2nd night, last night, and why I’m dead at work lol. Had I think 7 races. 1x3rd, 2x1st, 4x 2nd. Kept it on the podium lol.

Had a few bogus ones though, idiots try and shove through, got a 5sec penalty for an idiot pushing me off track yay. Dropped to 5th and clawed my way back to 2nd. Threw away a easy win by running till lap 8 on mediums and underestimating how strong the undercut is here.

That’s what sucks about this track in real life/F1, very difficult to pass or follow the lead car. Once you get within a second the downforce drops off a proverbial cliff. Still fun though.

I did come up with a strategy by mistake though. I was chasing 2nd and had just pit on lap 6 for Hards, final turn caught too much curb and looped it into the pit lane......screw it I said and jumped in for mediums. 1st got worried and pit again as well. We were flying on our remaining laps and running faster overall times with a 2 stop.

Won my last race of the night using a 2 stop strategy. I start on mediums, then pit on lap 6 for Hards and only do 1 lap, then mediums. Previously my best overall time was in the 19:43 range. With a two stop I hit 19:36 which surprised me, but given how quick the pit is and no fuel, makes sense. I was doing non stop low 1:28’s on the 2nd set of mediums.

Key is having a gap behind you. You need clean air to really take advantage of it. Getting past a equal driver might not be worth the risk vs playing defense.

I’m def feeling the long runs today though. My knee (ACL/MCL sprain/meniscus tear) are not liking me after that lol. My left calf is dead from the load cell too lol.

No one would pit even if race B where 6 or even 12 laps. There is no tire wear or fuel depletion. You could run top speed for an hour without pitting.

While I'm not happy that Autopolis is back for the millionth time, I do appreciate that next week's A and B Daily Races are all original. Not sure if C race is new, but hey, I'll take it.

First time for group 3 at autopolis in daily races.

They did an FIA race with group 3 a few months back.

That makes 2 weeks in a row of all original daily race combos. Its suggest they are listening to feedback which is nice!

P.S its Autopolis 10th appearance in daily races in 9 months and never the short version either!!!

They heard me rant a bunch about the repeated daily races. :O:lol:
Ahhh. Even if that appeared in FIA, I'll still call it original for the Daily Races. :D

It's weird how Autopolis short hasn't been in a Daily Race yet. I'd love to see it get some love, maybe repeat one of the WT races with Gr. B at Autopolis short. It'd make an interesting A or C race.

I'm just glad that Yamagiwa is going the proper direction, this time.
But I wanted to go down the "Esses of Death" and spin out there!!! :(

I guess it won't be so easy to spin, this time. I think it will be a choice of 90s JDM cars. The Skylines are pretty stable.

>N500 >Sports: Soft

I feel nostalgic. I'm not sure I should be saying it so soon but PD may have listened to our pleas for originality. It's not really clear which car it will be but I'll take a guess and say the Porsche 911. It'd be also awesome if the group of JDM cars returned for Kyoto.

I'm only disappointed by Turnopolis back again after a week although at least it isn't the GR.4 FF cars for the hundredth time.

Got my Spa time down to a 27.8 from 28.3 tonight. I went with a varying BB throughout the lap, it seemed to do the trick. I’ve never really tried that before, but it actually works pretty well when it doesn’t 🤬 you up.

Edit: Gonna try a couple race C’s before the WRS race tonight. :)

oh somebody wants to overtake on the inside of T1 catalunya on the last lap? sure let them , just turn into them and go off ,tada free 4sec penalty and a gifted win

Depends.......we’re they alongside you before the braking zone? If they were, then turning in on them is a douche move. Gotta leave them space, and they need to leave you some as well.
