Man, my oldest daughter came over to have lunch, just when you guys finished the reverse 180 race. I was ready for the GR.4, GR.3, kart and Nova events. All fun cars to steer. Maybe next time.

Just one thing to all: the first race was good. The second, just be a bit more patient and leave some room. Keep it fun, we're not racing for trophies and points and puffy chests. ;) Stay up!
 
Here's how Bonus Race went for Mr. Fudsy. Everyone took a beating, but he had it the worst, because after the other 2 Toyotas finished, he became the focus, and started going the wrong way in a hurry.
Maybe next time we should do it with penalties on. :lol:

There was a moment in the middle of the race where @Drex124 was pinned up against the barrier with one pickup truck ahead and one right behind so there was nowhere to go for about half a minute.

I noticed that @Pigems had a suspicious spin at the final corner of the race before so he didn't have to be one of the mice. :lol:
 
Next weekend is F1 weekend, but also the 25th anniversary of the Australian GP.

The support races for the event are:

S5000(V8 formula cars)

Got me thinking about using the W08, SF19 and also doing a Multi-class GT race.

Regarding the GT cars, we have nine REAL current(as of 2017) GT3 cars. Vantage, R8, M6, Viper, 458, Huracan, RC F, 650S, GT-R.

To fill the "GT4" class, Vantage, M4, Mustang, 650S, SLS, Cayman, Supra, are cars/brands closest to their real GT4 models. So sixteen spots in total.

Just shooting the idea for next weeks bonus races or a completely different room, maybe before or after the DRwFF. Since Albert Park is a street circuit, maybe having the event at Yamagiwa+Miyabi for all the races, sets the mood for a mock F1 event.

How would you all feel about this or something like this?

Edit: Could even replace the GT race with a One make Cayman or RSR or one of the Porsche GT3 road cars.

I don't think the spin was intentional, but there didn't seem to be a great deal of effort put into recovering from it ;) :p

Picked it up today. Surprisingly nice to use for such a cheap controller, especially nice for trail braking. It may be due to heavier springs in the triggers giving more feel for throttle/brake, and a longer shaft on the mini-sticks giving a greater range of movement for the same input and consequently finer steering control.

It remains to be seen how reliable it is.
And JB HiFi were nice enough to take another $6.00 off the price :D

It just means that you haven't seen it. Tick the boxes "all regions" and friends only.
Otherwise it works to put in the room number

IIRC there is a box to show full rooms too (the friends one might override that).
 
News of Assetto Corsa Competizione coming to console this June. GT3 only GT4(DLC coming in Summer) with 15 tracks, time of day, weather, etc. We've got to carry this DRwF over to that game! :)

Don't know how many players can run on the console servers. There are up 31 cars on the track. Proper Multi-class action would be epic.

Probably a smart move. To get the most out of the PS4. Personally I'm not planning on getting the PS5 until at least one price drop.

I have a feeling GTS will eventually become free to play to sell PS+ and increase player numbers. In other words, the racing in GTS isn't going to get better.
 
Gonna try to make it as well... hopefully be able to jet out of work early as the snow + Coronavirus threat means less people in the office today.

Tonight’s race lobby is now open for practice, actions starts in 58 min. :)
 
Sorry to have missed most of tonight. Didn't realise @Pigems has changed to summer time so missed the first three races, then had to go early due to a minor family emergency. What I did do was fun, hope the rest of you had just as much fun.
Sorry @dlshearon for punt in super formula just after les combes. It was pretty messy on that first lap :(
