Please drop a comment here expressing your thoughts about the trade 1 car per day limit. This is totally obstructing the online closeness with my friends as i do a lot of tuning and want to trade cars back and forth with my friend that is half a world away from me. It's the holidays now and I have a few days off. Knowing that I only can send 4 cars total during my 4 days off is frustrating and a game killer.

Is Kaz trying to deter us from online community interaction? This has to be the biggest downfall of this game. Either turn it to unlimited trading or set the limit to something more respectable. You got over 1mil+ people playing this game around the world and I'm sure everyone wants to trade more than once per day. You can only trade 365 cars a year,that will take you 3 years to accomplish the full 1000+ cars ingame.
 
I would love to be able to trade an unlimited amount of cars daily.
It would be a plus for everyone as they would be able to experience more of Polyphony Digital's work.
Some people don't want to grind to drive a 908 for example.
But now with unlimited trading, they can experience more of PD's hard work several times a day.
 
I'm not sure I support unlimited but a couple a day would be nice.
 
NO! Taking off the copy protection was the worst thing PD has done and removing this limit gives ahem, people the ability to duplicate unlimited cars to make up for their limited skill. I personally hope Kaz deletes all X1's from everyones accounts then makes them specifically un-giftable...Glitching/cheating is for losers.

Anything more than one would be nice. :)
I'd vote for 5 - 10 at least.

Wouldn't want the duped cars to get spread around so much that there's no point in buying a car at all.

It already has buddy, just take a look at the marketplace where the one week wonders that aren't even level 20 yet
have multiple X1's and other cars. PD made an excellent game, shame these losers are ruining it. It's great knowing I went to the effort of getting this car myself only to see these lowlifes snatch one up out of thin air.

PLEASE KAZ AND PD DELETE EVERYONES' X2010'S SO ONLY THE WORTHY SHALL HAVE THEM!
 
My vote goes to drop online trading altogether! This would keep players from cloning cars to trade. If you want someone to have a tune for a car send then the tune that's easy.

When I read this it changed my mind. Still going to have to go with the petition.

But what would happen to all the hard earned X1s?
I would hate to have to have to spend another 8 hours to Gold Suzuka again...
 
It should at least be 1 car a day per person. My friend gifted a car to his friend earlier today, and when he wanted to return me my car, he couldn't because he used his once a day gift. Really annoying... Then again, there is a lot of annoying things about this game, so somehow I'm not surprised. Maybe it'll change in a future patch, but who knows.
 
2 cars a day should be the limit, this is enough, and alot better than just 1.

You know like I know the performance is no different as you also know like I know that people who got gold or even bronze could easily go back and do them again in no time(Bronze is easy once your used to the car). Gold maybe not but then at least the game is prolonged again.

People would be furious, I already find no fun in driving the X1, it blows away the competition.
People spend many hours to get Gold.
The performance is no difference, but it's a rare colour to get it in.
It's worse than restarting a 24 hour endurance race at the last second.
 
Although I have partaken in no such trading thus far, I back this petition on principal.
 
most cases i people would love to trade car collections with friends on a daily basis, not just one per day 7 per week 365 per year when we have garages of 300+ cars to trade around. Either fix the used car dealership to spawn 100 cars at a time so we have greater chance of finding the cars we want to drive or allow us to trade more than once per day to achieve the car you want from the community.

As far as I know, it got changed now, to 1 car to anyone on your friends list. ex. John can send Jack a car. But then John can't send Mike a car, because he already used his 1 car gift. That's how it was explained to me anyways, I didn't try gifting in a while.
 
There is no real 'trading' only 'gifting' which requies some kind of trust between both parties and an opportunity to scam viciously!

Even pokemon has better online trading facilities than GT5.
 
Wow! Get over your 'I GOTTA FINISH GT5 OVERNIGHT' phase. The point of the small UCL is to add longevity, the point of one gift car per day is longevity(and glitches but like that helped huh OP), the point of leveling up is to add longevity, the point of the X2010 challenge is to...yep you guessed it.

Funny everyone complains there's not enough events yet complain about how long everything else takes...I don't even know what that would be called.

Hope you guys realise GTP has no affiliation with PD so you may want to go over to the official GT site and make your complaint.:banghead: :boggled:

Hmmm. There should be a trade option, whereby we don't simply gift but exchange vehicles and both parties agree to the trade before it actually carries out. I like this.

It wouldn't change the whole duping thing, though. Dupers could still just swap a really low-cost car for a valuable one, kind of like how we used to gift Pokemon over a decade ago; you have a Pokemon to simply give me that I need but you don't presently need anything from me so I just catch some random Metapod and we swap the desired Pokemon for the undesired, disposable one. It would be like swapping a Ferrari for a Fiat 500 or whatever.

Ah, somebody that has absolutely no knowledge of Pokemon. Congratulations, you must be proud. Yes, kids do play it, but older gamers have also enjoyed it, especially back in the late 1990s when it first exploded. I knew several high school and college students that were playing it obsessively back then. Part of the beauty of the game is that it's fairly simple to learn such that even a tyke can pick it up, but it also has a lot of strategy to keep older players entertained.

I reckon you probably also assume that Epic Mickey is a mindless kiddie game just because it happens to involve Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, or that Super Mario Galaxy (1 or 2) only appeal to elementary school kids.

I agree get over it. The game is meant to be played for longer than a month! 💡 Hey it is a game and meant to be entertainment. :)

I honestly feel like taking a break from here till the random cod-goers go back to it, only been regularly visiting since GT5 and it sickens me the open glitch abusing that is happenning, and the non-stop crying about something the 'real racing simulator fans' and rejoicing in.
