I had a similar problem with one of the Jeddah chests - the circle being centred on a rock butte. Reloading to the last checkpoint after getting stuck (hold circle on consoles) and the area waypoint had shifted when I got back there and I could then find it.
Which location on Red Sea is that? I ask as for me the last one was up that mountain but I had intended the last one to be the most north-easterly of the Red Sea locations but time ran out on me and so next day I went up there instead. If it's the mountain one, I didn't find it first time up there but second time it was there in plain sight.
I think there's a glitch on the Neom treasure too by the way (PS5.) I can't seem to get to the south-easterly one down by the coast without running into the area limit reset. I've approached via the beach, road and tried going further inland to come back in further south but I get reset each time.
Except for the extended DLC events that are still unavailable on PS4 I feel I’ve thoroughly experienced the career events.
In the meantime I’ve found a great way to keep the game fresh and also making it very challenging.
Using a randomization tool for each step below, select:
1. class of vehicle
2. specific driver/team
3. a simulation event
4. Time of day
5. Weather
6. Forecasted weather
7. Weather transition time
You can be dished up some very challenging conditions mostly in the dark. Inclement weather occurs only in the Sport and Pro modes, so this is a good way of experiencing the challenges of daylight and weather in simulation.
It also showcases how terrific this game looks in other conditions than full sun.
I hope they updated the physics on those trucks so they're not bound by whatever Snowrunner uses, otherwise that's going to be...interesting to say the least.
The patch notes look good, especially showing vehicles from other classes in pro/simulation. If done right that will add so much to keep you engaged on the long stages.
I didn't have time yesterday to take more than a few pictures but it's definitely fun to take these trucks out and fun to be able to go faster than in SnowRunner - good also to see a few other SnowRunner vehicles in the pack during the Sport event for the special SR rally
Fuel would be one, though obviously a lot improved due to a two generation gap between them and the quads are now far better in Dakar than they were at launch. A more recent game, I'd say DiRT 5.
Trying my best not to get too excited for the photo mode possibilities...but the dirt accretion, general level of detail and particle effects all bode well, I feel.
Been having fun climbing the biggest mountains I could find in free roam - plenty more pictures of that to share but this will do for now. Penultimate (EDIT: not sure why these are appearing in a different order to the ones I uploaded but the dev message pic is now at first spot) picture is a dev message for those that find it.
