Data transfer... GT5P > GT5

I have a lot of cards, and money in GT5 Prologue, but there is no way in helll im going to transfer anything over.

I want to start out fresh in GT 5 and earn everything my way up :-)

The screenshot from the manual I saw the other day only showed import from GT PSP - it did not offer the option of import from GT5P...

I think you can't transfer cars from GT5P to GT5, only GTPSP to GT5.

I was thinking on transfering from GT5P, but on second thoughts, I rather start clean.

If I have the option I'm transfering my info. I like starting from scratch too, but not when I'm going to buy some of the same vehicles like the 599, California, Art Morrison vette etc. I've already EARNED THEM once, why go through it all over again? Also taking 2,000,000cr into GT5 is not alot when you think about the fact that their are cars that cost a million and up like the Veyron and Ferrari race car,etc. You can go broke with one purchase! But hey to each his own, i hope you guys have fun racing Miatas online!! I don't mind passing all the liscence test again, but who wants to go from driving a Ferrari to a Miata? Oh, some of you guys I guess......sorry!

GT5p progress is automatically imported in GT5, but can only be used in Arcade (TT) mode, not career mode.

Sorry for the double post but i just thought of something, you can have the best of both worlds! If you transfer your info on one of your PS3 users, then start from scratch on another!

The transfer of cars either via GT5P or GTPSP is ONLY to the arcade mode, not GT Life (aka 'career mode').

People are still going on about this? by now its been talked to death that any data from PSP or Prologue is only usable in Arcade not Career.

We've known about this for quite some time now(Tekken90 confirmed it) yet people still comment "nah i'm gonna start from scratch, etc".

I plan on transferring my Prologue and PSP data since it does not affect the career portion of the game, so regardless, I'm still gonna have to buy a used 80's-90's JDM and play from scratch.
