$77,000 USDSold: Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Hatchback Auctions - Lot 131 - Shannons
Ford’s radical Sierra spawned several high performance derivatives throughout the 1980s, including the V6-powered XR4i and later the all-wheel d...www.shannons.com.au

Hagerty has seen all manner of modern classics rise in value in recent years and the RS500 has been no exception. The Hagerty Price Guide average value for the model has increased by 15% over the last 12 months to £73,475 and the car now has a top figure of £114,000. But the interesting thing about the RS500 is that it’s been collectable for much longer than most of its peers, and that’s surprising, given its early reputation.![]()
Market Watch: Blue-collar to blue-chip for Sierra RS500 | Hagerty UK
With a Ford Sierra RS500 selling within a whisker of an all-time high, Hagerty takes a look at what's making the RS500 market tick.www.hagerty.co.uk
Yes, for example, there were approximately 490 Stratos built (numbers fluctuate and from what I have read there were more than 450 and less than 500, 492 is what experts consider trustworthy) and PD decided to put it at the UCD. In my opinion the Stratos deserve to be at the LCD, but Kaz and Co. have a different view...Had a quick look at sales numbers: 5042 Sierra Cosworths from July1986-January 1987. 500 RS500. That’d probably qualify for the LCD. Heck, other rare cars are in the UCD. Who knows?
Not to mention the Merak, which seems hand-picked for the UCD, especially considering its Top Gear meme status. But somehow it ended up in Hagerty, despite far more of them being built than something like the Stratos. The Sierra should undoubtedly be a UCD car, along with the Kouki S14 (as long as they don't make a silly typo that they never fix like last time). That's probably something I didn't quite get when it came to the UCD and LCD.
The Stratos, Testarossa, and even the 911 Carrera CS is in the UCD. But we'll have the Challenger R/T, and Camaro Z28 in the LCD, which were made far more than those three. 🤔
NB and the NC is on the list, so I'd say somewhere down the line we'll see them.I hope we do get the NB roadster soon.
NA is a classic yes,
NB has looks and refinement
NC is just pug-fugly
ND is new but not nostalgic
I'm honestly shocked we haven't got the NR-A Roadster Cup back yet. Or even the 4-hour Tsukuba endurance... although we already got the 1-hour Tsukuba mission back in April. And hopefully a Miata cup event to go along with it. 👀
Somewhere here is a great idea for a better implementation of UCD and LCD. There's a bunch of cars in the game which can be in both, but in LCD they can be in perfect condition and like 300km driven, while in UCD they can have 300000km driven, have some bad paintjob, visual and mechanical damage. That would be very interesting, I think. Not to mention the Merak, which seems hand-picked for the UCD, especially considering its Top Gear meme status. How about 0 instead of 300 kms? I'd pay more credits for that.Somewhere here is a great idea for a better implementation of UCD and LCD. I'd prefer if the mileage for UCD and Hagerty cars had two settings in the garage - one for the mileage when you bought it, and one for the distance you drove in the vehicle after buying it. Or maybe buying a new engine in the tuning shop should reset the mileage...How about 0 instead of 300 kms? I'd pay more credits for that.
An endurance with a one time payout.1-hour Tsukuba mission back in April.
Good point. An endurance with a one time payout.
It would be nice to make it repeatable so we can play something besides the spa 1hr.
If I was in charge of GT7s dev team I would make them pump about 100hrs of racing contentGood point.
I'm honestly surprised more endurance events haven't been added yet. I remember 24-hour events being part of the roadmap Kaz posted after the 1.07 disaster, but much like car selling, they haven't shown up yet.
In full agreement. An absolute no-brainer to include these and similar ones.If I was in charge of GT7s dev team I would make them pump about 100hrs of racing content

I don't understand why its too hard for them to spend about an hour typing out the script that would do these events
Either separated or a way to reset it somehow, where the latter would be best. The made up mileage on the UCD cars aren’t realistic anyway (and certainly offer no positive aspect) since through the campaign one received several pre-2001 cars with 0 kms. Consequently, the argument that it’s realistic that we have the UCD/LCD cars with lots of mileage on them makes no sense.I'd prefer if the mileage for UCD and Hagerty cars had two settings in the garage - one for the mileage when you bought it, and one for the distance you drove in the vehicle after buying it. Where isReally excited to see this. We have old classics returning such as Skyline Silhouette and Escudo Pikes Peak*. But mostly I'm grateful for a bunch of Lotus cars coming up, considering the British sportscar maker was missing altogether.

Not here, that's where.Where is
No reason not to believe it when it's literally datamined from the game. Keep in mind this does not mean the C5 and C8 Corvettes aren't coming, as some of the cars not from the list is also in the game IIRC. Also this list is not guaranteed that all those cars are coming in the game.well idk about you but i really don't believe in the list... just because it doesn't have the c5 and c8 corvettes in it
like...
i hope this doesn't become another fh2 fiasco where it has every corvette except the c5the c5 is my #1 favorite corvette (if not my favorite american car in general) and having it ommitted where there's every other corvette feels sacrilege
OP updated! So now 2 of the cars were on the datamine list is in this update

I'm just getting into this category of racing. What exactly is Group A? I see BTCC, ATCC, DTM, etc all using the same cars. Were they all similar spec just racing in different countries?M3 Evo2 was day one
Alfa 155 was day one
now we got Sierra RS500
waiting for this 190e evo 2 from this list to complete Group A list![]()
