The one i am most curious about is the Lancia 037 evo 2 rally car.
Its a legendary rally car so you expect it will be in gr.b.
But all gr.b. cars are 4wd, this one is MR.
Is PD making a non 4wd gr.b.? Are they just making it a race car (non gr.b)
Curious how pd will handle this one (or if the car even comes to gt7)
Same with the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally ; it is also a MR car Gr B ;)

Pretty sure it will be just added to group B ;)

I like the fact that you are all excited about the next update when it has only been said that there will only be cars off the list... this does not automatically mean that the next update will be a great one 😂
no but this adds mystery... plus the notion that @TheAdmiester knows things... so it adds to the anticipation 😁

or if you are like me it's "whatever, not waiting nor hoping for anything, we'll see"

May be worth mentioning that none of next month's cars are featured in this list, a useful reminder that it isn't always gospel.
Just out of curiosity, do you already also know what are the dedicated events to each of the N (probably 3, but who knows, maybe more given the likely August break) vehicles added?

You're the exact opposite of me, I hate all those cars, and resent having to buy or race them. Maybe it's because I can actually drive in real life, and have real sports cars, but it damn sure it's a lack of creativity.
Wut? I am 45 years old and have driven competitively for years (rallycross/autocross/ local SCCA events, etc...), as well as owned many a sports car (including a short stint owning a rough around the edges Ferrari F355 GTB). So, it's certainly not that. Different strokes for different folks, mate. You need to realize there are a LOT of different schools of thought when it comes to racing. Some of the most fun I've ever had racing IRL was in tiny little FWD cars. It's not about power or downforce. It's about how competitive the field is. THAT's racing. A lot of people really limit their potential enjoyment of this game by only focusing on sports cars/GT3/GT4 cars. Especially the online focused players. If it's not a meta car, a lot of people aren't interested. It boggles my mind. There is so much fun to be had, if you just expand your horizons a bit.

Or just name the cars and don’t aura farm on the info

Since we don't yet have a July thread, I predict one of those will likely be the Xiaomi based on the change to the Nurburgring banner. Anyhows I'm looking forward to seeing what's happening. Slightly gutted the 500e and Fiat Coupe won't be a choice but hey that's what August is for.

Totally agree with your reasoning. And this is why I do not understand GT7's logic. You got incredibly good events like Tsukuba 550 Clubman race which is hectic and extremely competitive (even with regular AI) and if you try to recreate something on custom races its almost impossible. Not even with Sophy. Why does Polyphony create such irregular AI across the game? I play on the hardest possible setting always and it bothers me that AI (even Sophy) lifts up throttle when it shouldn't do it.

I haven't had as much trouble creating competitive SOPHY races, as you are experiencing. The best thing to do with SOPHY is put all the vehicles on RH tires (otherwise they tend to default to their stock tire). Even with my 550pp races I've set up (Various sport tires on SOPHY) I've had some great races (boost weak, of course). I haven't run very many 700pp to 900pp races with SOPHY, so I may be missing something, for sure. However, I have heard quite a bit about the rubberbanding still present even with boost set to weak. I just haven't experienced it all that much. Maybe I'm just not THAT good...lol

In this case I do, but most of the time the info for the events is populated a fair bit later than the info for the cars themselves.
He's only said they're not on the list, to affirm it can't be relied on as a guarantee.

Any hype built from that is entirely your own doing.
Pretty much exactly this, I figured what I posted would be a good reminder that the list isn't the be all end all, especially as it gets closer to running out. Not sure why but it seems to have made a few people think that something groundbreaking is coming which it isn't. If you want to keep your predicitons and speculation in check then I'd say look at the general theme of the March and May updates, since to me it looks like PD have mostly pivoted to "sporty thing, quirky thing, family thing".
(Also had to google what aura farm even means which I think automatically disqualifies my post from being that lol)

I don't look at the leaked list as the be and end all.
There are cars that almost certainly will not come to gt7. The lotus cars or the DeLorean s1 probably will not come. And I have my doubts for buick gnx, arta garaiya or catheram seven (I would love to be wrong about this one).
But the list has been a decent predictor since the beggining and there are still many cars likley to come. The mazdas, the bmw m5, the nissan gtr '07, the subaru impreza sedan '10, the yellow bird or the porsche 911 '93. I see them as very likely come this year or the next.

What about region/country? Do they have a common denominator like this month's or not?

May update did bring some good cars through like c5 Corvette and 812 superfast.
I wouldn't say the 812 was such a great addition. One of the worst Ferrari's in the game, at present. In my opinion, of course. The C5 Vette was a surprisingly good car, though. I'm not a Vette kinda guy (understatement), but that C5 is a joy to drive.

812 is by far the best addion of any cars added this year. It was the star of that update even more than the c5 corvette. May update has had the best selection of the updates cars. But it was not still strong campared to some past updates. And this month we are heading in the wrong direction again.

I completly disagree that 812 is the worst ferrari in the game. Its very solid and i sounds absolutly fantastic. Very fun to drive in my opinion so was c5 corvette. But the 812 was even more enjoyable to drive for me. It handles very simular to Ferrari f12 witch is also very fun car to drive around. The more Na v12 supercars we can get the better. We are really lacking more perfomence cars in gt7.

Or the C7 RS6, Lambo Espada, Zonda C12, etc, theres an infinite count of cars that were supposedly scanned but we never knew any more than that.
It got brought up in the update thread that the Delta we just got (and also the 155) were supposedly scanned back in 2013:
If the car in the middle is Delta, it was finally added 12 years after PD scanned the actual car.
So there is still at least some hope for these types of cars, eventually. I think a Hyundai Veloster was another rumoured early-2010s scan.

Now this is some time.

I'd pay to see what's going on in the PD offices regarding models and upcoming cars.

So pretty much they are not releasing the cars when they are ready as been claimed. We could be getting cars thats been ready for a year or longer and now just being dripfeed.

Scanning is only part of the work. There's nothing to say the rest of the work was completed.

I think the quality of the Delta makes it pretty clear it wasn't a model completed 12 years ago.

Yeah, this.

Especially when you consider a pretty decent amount of that time involves them pivoting to what they thought GT Sport was going to be at launch (only prioritising racing cars and certain then-new road models) and then the resulting pivot back after launch, whether that was always the plan or a reaction to the reviews (then prioritising older fan favourites). So some scans being put on the backburner wouldn't shock me at all.
