I think the quality of the Delta makes it pretty clear it wasn't a model completed 12 years ago.

Never said scanning was all of the work.
I just dont belive they release all cars when they are ready. If going to choise to belive that claim we can also start to belive the other claim kaz made where they make around 60 cars a year and we are not getting anything near that.

How far in the future remains to be seen; acknowledging the fact that cars now take 270 person-days to complete from scratch, Yamauchi states the current rate is around 60 new cars per year. However that hasn’t been entirely reflected in GT7, which has received 30 new cars in the nine months to its most recent update.


It does make sense to hold back some cars for next gt game you dont want a new gt game with 0 new cars. And the cars takes very long to make. So they need to make them early on maybe even 2-3 years before the new gt game releases.

Well if we are going to start not belive that claim. Then we can start to not belive the other claim where they Said they release cars when they are ready. I just dont belive that for one sec. It might be speculation on my part. But their is no proof we are getting cars when they are ready it could be cars that been ready for a year or longer nobody know except pd.

But if their was some truth to it pd would not be able to release like 3 cars in an update and then have big update with 7 cars like spec ll in 2023. In just 40-45 days in between.

They are very possible saving some good stuff for either bigger updates or the next game.

What on earth are you talking about now?

That they can model up to 60 cars a year is not the same thing as them actually doing so. It's a capability, or a capacity, not a guaranteed throughput.

You literally just misrepresented it, and not for this first, second, or even third time, and now you're dissembling. Again.

Edit: And that reaction tells me all I need to know about your intent here, if the fact this was the fourth time this conversation has taken place, with two thread bans, didn't...

You need to realize there are a LOT of different schools of thought when it comes to racing. Some of the most fun I've ever had racing IRL was in tiny little FWD cars. It's not about power or downforce. It's about how competitive the field is. THAT's racing. A lot of people really limit their potential enjoyment of this game by only focusing on sports cars/GT3/GT4 cars. Especially the online focused players. If it's not a meta car, a lot of people aren't interested. It boggles my mind. There is so much fun to be had, if you just expand your horizons a bit.

"Fun" is a subjective idea, not an objective idea, and to that end we don't get to choose what we think is fun any more than we get to choose what color we like, or our favorite foods. Part of what you're saying is correct, "try everything to figure out what you like because the answer may surprise you." That part I agree with. But I've been there, and done that at my age, so I know what I like and what I don't (and it certainly isn't racing a slow FWD van). Take your own advice mate, to each their own.

I think you need to go back to the dictionary and learn what the words you're writing mean. You can't define these words and concepts yourself, they have real meanings apart from your dribble. If you like to drive ****boxes, the please do so and leave everyone else to drive what they want to drive.

Wow, talk about unnecessary, and incredibly inaccurate. Maybe YOU need to look at a dictionary. You seem to be quite confused and incredibly angry for no reason whatsoever (judging by your post history, this is a bit of a pattern). Take a chill pill, mate. Drive whatever you want. Nobody cares.

Also, WEIRD response. I make a post suggesting people maybe should expand their horizons a bit and try something new. Use the vehicles the game offers you, and YOU lash out. YOU don't have to take the advice. You do you. It was a suggestion, not a mandate. Get over yourself.

I appreciate your concern :lol:, but the A110 doesn't do anything for me. It's only 500 lbs heavier than my Exige, but it doesn't move like I want it to. The BAC Mono works for the time being.

You’d think an Atom or the Radical are better driving cars. Well I think so, the Elise and Exige (arguably the more comfortable Europa) that I’ve driven haven’t out performed the newer track attack toys like the Atom and Radical. Haven’t driven a Mono but the price and the fact it’s not really in the same class as the others.

What would be interesting and I haven’t driven one would be a crossbow and see how that does.

Anyways back on topic, what hints can the data miners give us about these non list cars that are potentially coming???

I know nobody's doubting the veracity of this any more, but it's worth mentioning anyway: The recent online car list lines up pretty well with it.

Each car has a numerical ID, that you can see by the URL when you click into a car (no, they don't leak any unreleased cars before you ask). The final car by ID that was in at launch is the new-gen Nissan Z at 3504. 3505 is skipped, 3506 is the second-gen BRZ from the first update, and every car after that is a new-to-series DLC car that is not in the datamine, with the sole exception of the 400R. The final car is the N-One at 3576.

But if you look at the new-to-series cars that were in the datamine, their IDs are all in the 3400s. The recent 812 Superfast is ID 3470 for example. The earliest one is the Giulia GTAm, all the way down at 3411 - for context, that is a lower number than even some late GT Sport DLC cars like the 2020 Supra and the RX-Vision GT3.

(You can only test this with new-to-series cars and cars returning from GT3 or earlier; returning cars that were in any game from GT4 onwards, such as the Celica rally car or the Evo 8, seemingly reclaim their old ID slots.)

Do we know if the potential RS6 is the Saloon or Avant version?

Edit: as a side note while not the same conceptually the M5 would be a 4 door V10 tenuous LFA
