No response?? I didnt see it up until now... You gotta give the events some time to pick up :) Good initiative though! 👍 Many possibilities!! I'd take the cancelled message away and leave it.. people will start racing here when theyre bored of the other events...
 
I was going to try this at some time, but the 550 RWD Suzy (NSX or RX8) seems more attractive to most GTP online racers.

It seems anyway that most online group activity is in the weekend.

I think that this one might be less frustrating and that I will try it when I'm fed up with playing in the sand at Suzy.

That's right, but as I saw that after three days nobody was interested in this event I decided cancel it for don't bother and this thread falls into oblivion.

We have the same problem, whenever I race in Suzuka I conclude with sand even in my panties. I think Suzuka needs more asphalt at borders of the track, it would give me security.

So, are you going to leave it open? Or let it die? I think people will start flowing here in a week or so when they get bored of other events... :) and even if it doesnt get attention now in this round, it will when the event cycles back through in a future update...

Had some good races here.

It seems that the 15' schedule is too ambitious, 10' race + matching make it very short for the next race.

You're right, three races per hour is the best choice.

May have a go at this, found the RX8 event very quiet and Im sure the NSX guys are sick of seeing me turn up in the RX8 and spoiling their NSX only grids.
 
I'm in with all possible kinds of Lancer! :D

But, could anyone please explain me the way this events work? I've only raced online once with a GTPer, and I don't quite know how to do it :dunce:. Help please! ;).
 
Druring my races (European daytime), this was quite quiet too, however had some better and closer races with 3 people in the race then I mostly had with 12 in other online races.

Not clear if there is a general description how to do online:
1) Find an event you like, like this tread.
2) Go to the online event
3) Always recommended except for aliens: do some Free Flow laps to find your tune and the hang of the track
4) Go to the GTP life racing chat to find some buddies: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/addonchat.php
or just go on on the recommended times.
5) When the clock hits :00/:20/:40 try to get in the race
6) Still sad, but you need to be lucky to be matched up with the other GTP drivers (mostly works)
7) Respect the GTP OLR Rules and guidelines at all times:

I'm in for a few races later, I've spent wayyyyy to much time at Suzuka over the last week!!

Now to pick a car, throw a tune at it and see what happens 👍

Just had a quick tuning session and a few laps, and managed a 1'55.108 in the Subi WRX which I'm good with at the moment. Just need to make a few adjustments to the tune, and my driving and hopefully will be able to knock 1.5 seconds of that and should have a pretty reasonable race pace 👍
 
Think like the other events, what would have made this a little more interesting and fun, using some of the slower 4WD cars, maybe same car for all, let any non GTP in their cars shoot off while we all do battle in the likes of either the Lancia/Alfa/TT.
 
I race here usually with the 07 Evolution or race the expert N3 challenge. Is AU on PSN Australia or Austria?
 
I tried the Lancia, your restricted to R Tyres only, otherwise your running less the 600PP
I tried the Alfa, again your restricted to r tyes unless you do a big step between front and rear.
The Audi TT can go as low as S3's.

Maybe make this event a little more interesting, one make car, even use stated tyre, all else tunning wise is go, bit like the RX8 event but we use one of the lesser/slower used cars, just an idea. If your only interested in jumping in the fastest car and taking the chequered flag in P1 obviously this will not appeal to you. I don't even mind posting in here a choone for what ever car is decided upon (Im rusty at the setting up, but sure people could use it as a base)
Anyhow i will be at DR for a few in one of the mentioned cars, catch you later.
