Gettin wrecked had nothing to do with it. And I didnt know we where keeping track. Honestly say what you want. Sure you had a few buddies in that room, where I was running solo. Point Blank.

Sorry Herbie I don't think you were running solo,I had one friend in that room and he finished in front of you. What do solo time equate to anyhow? Who the hell runs solo in a Nascar room?Qualifying?

He finished in front, exactly, I got wrecked. Umm running solo, you know. I got wrecked, pitted by myself, came out by myself, ended up being solo. GET IT? Who said anything about solo lap times. At least I finish my races. Unlike that 1 race you got wrecked and bailed. Dont act like your s*** dont stink.

Yes you are quite good at running solo. You post how fast your solo lap times are on here all the time. As for getting wrecked and bailing, you must be thinking of another day or race because I only ran 1 race and left.

Lol, you two kill me. Do we have another Jeff Gordon/Clint Boywer saga going on here? lol.

I used to think the same thing until a few of us sent our cars to a driver who beat all our best times in our own cars within a few laps. Didn't matter if I was with or without tire wear she was faster. She test drives for a couple people and her own setup has put down laps in the mid 41.0's.

If its the same girl that I'm thinking about, she is fast but beatable. I've ran against her before and beat her on more than one occaision. Good driver tho. There is actually two girls now that I think about it that are pretty good, might be one of them.

The girl who I raced with recently didn't talk until guys questioned if she was a girl or not and when she did start talking she was pretty damn funny. Impressed me with how good she could her line and how fast she could get to the lead and hold it.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why it matters that she's a female?
As far as I'm concerned anyone who is 'impressed' that she can 'doesn't matter what you put here' is sexist.

Wow, I don't recall saying anything of the sort. I was just making conversation with the guy about her. Damn Adrenaline, seems that I can't say anything anymore without somebody taking it out of context and wanting to start an arguement with me. Pardon me son.

If you don't recall saying it, what in the world makes you assume my post was aimed at you? I'm rather direct with my posts, so if I 'emphasize' something, it's for a purpose.

Just thought it was me you were talking to since I was the only one that replied to the guy. If not, my misunderstanding then. Sorry.

She was 'impressive' to me, in that unlike a majority of racers "he/she/it" not only can pick a line, she can hold it.
And 'impressive' in that "he/she/it" is fast and goes to the front without wrecking the field to get there.

Reminds me of why I avoid Nascar rooms like the plague:tdown:

Has anyone pondered the question of how the 2.09 update may have affected car set ups? Maybe the OP's tune is the way to go or at least a direction to start. Has anyone actually driven the tune and tried to go 38 laps?

Come on Johnny, they are not that bad. I used to run nightly with a great group of guys. Some of the best times I had in the game. Three wide, bump drafting all the way around, clean passes, ect with only the occasional racing incident. You just have to get with the right people, thats all.

It definitely effected a few of my setups. Went into a NASCAR room last night for the first time since 2.09. My 'Tire Wear' setup will make 21 laps with wear on 'Fast' and 41 laps on 'Normal', but it does some extremely odd things in the turns. Despite high ride heights and high spring rates, the car bottoms out, both visually with sparks from underneath, as well as with a 'shot' up the track on the exit of turn 2 as if the car bounced off the asphalt. Also while rolling through the turns, the entire car looks like it's twitching back and forth in a diagonal angled motion. It's far tighter than it's e er been, and gets increasingly worse as the tires wear down. This might all be from the Downforce Settings.

As for my normal shootout/pitting setup, the Shocks seem to have altered the way it rides through the corners quite considerably. I'll have to run some solo laps and do some back to back testing to see if I can piece together any correlation between cause and effect.
