Lobby's up:
1472 6118 3787 3246 7331
Cruising on Eiger Nordwand.

Can't join again tonight as I'm at a friends house having a (Late) Easter Egg hunt

Maybe...
You know, I've got an idea. I'd say I'm pretty good at making cop cars on MCLA, so I had the idea of mocking up what a GTPD police car would look like on there. There's two ways I could do it: a cruiser like the Impala SS or Charger SRT-8, or an Interceptor like the Corvette Z06 or S302 Extreme. Here, I'll let you guys decide what would be the GTPD mock-up. Here's the cars I will consider:
Audi R8
Chevrolet Camaro Concept
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Chevrolet Impala SS
Dodge Challenger Concept
Dodge Charger SRT-8
Range Rover Supercharged
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
Nissan Skyline GT-R R34
Saleen S302 Extreme
If you guys think any other car would be more suitable, please tell me, but please make sure it's not a convertible if possible.

Not exactly a car, but Ducati Monster for patrol and Ducati 1098R for high speed chases, although one hit and you're screwed.

Hmm... I'd prefer a car, as it makes more sense as a patrol vehicle, and it's a bigger canvas for me to put my idea of a GTPD paintscheme on. Maybe if I do multiple vehicle types, though, I could mock up a Gran Turismo Police Department motorcycle.

On TDU 2, I made a Dodge Charger Police Cruiser...It's pretty cool.

I have something to add to that GTPD mock-up idea. Perhaps in addition to the generic police cruiser, I could also do vehicles that I associate with certain officers, like Ameer's wingless Evo X or cgg's beast-of-a-Challenger, and maybe my Challenger or Corvette.

What does the GTPD paint-scheme look like?

An RS4?

I am trying to get a stealth-black hybrid Ford GT '06 for police duty.

Also, just wondering, when I do get the GT with special paint, do I have to keep the wheels white? I was thinking since it will be employed for high speed pursuits, it won't be necessary to see what color my wheels are.

I'm still thinking about that. It's going to be black, and I'm thinking with white doors like the LAPD. The GTPD logo would be a circle with a star, and the Gran Turismo red-and-blue blocks. I'm still brainstorming ideas at this stage though.

Now that would be a good choice. I guess I'll add that to the list.

Glad to see you're returning to the GTPD Dan.

Now this is still the first draft, so details are likely to change. Any feedback with regards to the car or the paintjob will be taken into account.

I will try the paint again today.

Those are AWESOME! Great work Firehound.👍 Yay, it's Unit 67 :) How long did it take you to make?

I don't really time myself when I make these cars, but it was great to unveil a prototype of the GTPD paintscheme and pay tribute to one of our hard-working regular police officers.
EDIT: Oh snap, forgot to change the license plate. Perhaps it should read "AMEER67"...

Thanks so much Officer Hound! 👍 (again :sly:)

Glad to help. You know, instead of the generic cruiser which I was going to do, perhaps instead I could ask our regular cops what cars they normally use and (if they don't have numbers in their PSNIDs) what unit number they'd like to go by. I can then log onto MCLA and create their custom police car.

Why don't I get one?

Kidding. :sly:

EDIT: I just saw the post above :p

So I figure you're Unit 619. What would be your usual police cruiser?

Well, I'm Unit 67 of course. I know that there isn't an R35 in MCLA, so the car could be an R34.
Edit: Wow, started page 222.

Can I get one? I'm a sort of regular cop.

Oh yeah, how about a R32, if it's not considered to slow.

No R32s in MCLA, but we do have an R34. Yep, it's even right hand drive with a km/h speedo. What unit number are you? I'll get around to making it tomorrow.

Any lobbies?
