RIP - Allan Simonsen. 7/5/78 - 6/22/13.

“In a serious condition, Allan was transferred immediately to the Circuit Medical Centre where he died soon after due to his injuries.

"The Automobile Club de l’Ouest wishes to express its great sadness following this incident and extends its deepest condolences to the family and those close to him."

Sad news there. I just watched dash camera footage from a Corvette that was following him.
 
I'm surprised that the race is even still going following a death. That's bad news.

Just saw the crash.... Jesus... Three weeks ago, Japanese driver dies, a week ago NASCAR.... Winter X Games, snowmobiler dies..... at least they knew it was bound to happen and like Dan said, they went doing what they loved.

Let's try to put the kabash on the talk about the accident today. I heard about it and I feel sorry for his family and friends. Tree'd on the rest. I am not really in the mood for cruising as my parents made me drive four hours home from were we were visiting. I'm pooped. We'll see...I might make an appearance. :sly:

Just left. Lobby was going good, but my head is starting to hurt. Unloaded a truck-full of rocks earlier today which probably didn't help.


At first we did some cops and cruising, and I was a cop for the first time in a while. Only one person was making any trouble, so it wasn't much work.

You were inactive for more than 2 weeks... When I remove people for inactivity, I don't tell them. Obviously, they are worried about other things or are busy.

Not the last 2 weeks particularly, just in general.

If this is gonna be a problem, I'll just save the drama and add you to the list again.
 
I joined a De le Sarthe room named "COPS 65 mph" and when I started cruising around, I got hit by 10 people who were drag racing on the straightaway with hacked cars.

I am glad this club exists so I can at least count on being able to cruise once in a while. Thanks for keeping this active for new GT5 players like me even though I know many of you are probably a little bit bored of the game and looking forward to GT6.
 
I apologize for my low attendance in the past couple days. I have been busy with family and friends. I should be able to host tonight, or at least join.
