DDR + GT3 Drifting = DDD

Here it goes.. I have to type all this over again... I typed it all and then I clicked the X thinking it was the smilies box.. Dang it!!! :grumpy:

Well I bought DDR with the pads. And I thought.. hey would this work for GT3.. So I hocked it up and it worked!!! :D So i tryed Drifting. But I forgot it didn't have the R1 R2 Etc..etc.. :guilty: so i cound not shift and hold my rpm easier.. So I change it to auto :yuck: and it just burned out because I was to cheap to buy the presure sencitive one...($_$) so... I just let go of the gas.. and the first turn I hit the wall.. because counter steering is hard when you have to let go of your foot... and/or tap the gas... so I keeped trying... Then I done it I drifted the whole little tiny..turn after the 2nd big turn at Midfield... :drool: but I was going toward the right in to the wall so I pressed on the left thingy with my foot and then it was on the GAS and the arrow.. so it gased it right into the wall :ouch: .. I keeped trying and trying till I made that same turn 1 time...

Thats it.. LOL all I want to know if you tryed this LOL
 
o yea i tried it except yours went better then mines i never even passed the first turn all i think i did was some lousy doughnuts which is a newb drifts on pads
 
whoa. really? i should try doing that. i do have a DDR Pad, but i tried using it for Tekken or something, but it didn't work.
hmm, you SURE your DDR pad worked on GT3?
 
LOL yeah I did that, we were at a party and I was told to try it. I tried to drift...got one small one down....but I was flailing my arms around and tappin like a tap dancer on crack. I looked like an idiot. :odd: ...I hope they didn't take that video of me and put it on Funniest home videos..... :rolleyes: My family and friends were alughin so hard. I watched myself on the vid...and I couldn't breathe, it was so funny. Don't do it while people are watching...especially if they're drunk. :) They'll try to do it and hurt themselves
 
I tried it also, got to tired and to hard to hold the throttle and countersteer and braking, got way too tired as I said :yuck:
 
im not sure if my pad has x and square buttons. i got it with that ddrmax2 bundle.
 
but i could change the accel and brake to up and down :D
