How do you manage to get in 1st place. I tried the Elise event and can't get past 6th place!
F430 past 16 cars on Daytona is annoyingly hard too. I just can't see why it's so difficult

I haven't run the PAL Elise event yet but I remember that in the Japanese version it was one of the hardest races - only got first after many tries!
But now there's tuning so you can actually make races much easier if you wish...
Also I believe the Ferrari event is held at Suzuka, right?

Yes, its Suzuka (F430 race). It was very frustrating but after a long time i got gold...

@stew2000...sorry but i cant see why it should not be difficult....if it would be easy i would finish all events and such in a few days!!!!
more practice bro...every race in events has a trick,often after you found the way to win a race you can win it over and over again easely......so,more practice to get better...!spyrrari.

Yea practise, practise, practise.
I can control the tuned Elise 111r much better know.
I managed to win 5 S events with it on pro physics and no aids.
I can only do 2 more with the Elise, the 3 other are car specific events.

Some of the Dealer races are véry hard.

Equal field, penalties, you start last, etc. etc.

They're all pretty simple with Quick Tune , which reminds me im sure i've won all that have events yet no reward

indeed!...for "beginners" its sure the way to start with a high powerd loose rear car....set the tc on a bit and slowely turn it less and than off when you get to master the car enough...

I have done a few manufacturer races and the Elise event in London was the hardest so far. I made up most gains post Trafalgar Square. That is in part because I still suck early in the lap (which I partly blame on the DS2 Sixaxis), and it is IMO easy to be very aggressive in the second half of the lap (either that or the AI is just not so good at that part of the track).

On my winning run I took the lead at the start of lap 3, then actually got a good line through T1, but got rear-ended from the AI car and received a penalty ! That penalty system is frustrating at times.

I used the untuned 111R because at that time I did not know there was a tuned version in the Concept dealership.

SetUp; as a twisty circuit I changed the gear ratios to focus on acceleration rather than top speed, and I put the front and rear springs up a couple of notches. Aids off except TC at 2.

You can't use that concept car, but you can tune the normal car!
