I have quite the decision on my hands. My mom said that she will buy me either the PS3 or Xbox 360. The problem is if I get one, I can't get the other one, ever . Now I would get the PS3 in a heartbeat, but the only game I really want for it is GT5 which is not coming out for a while. The Xbox 360, however, I could get at release, and there will be plenty of games, such as PGR3, Test Drive: Unlimited, and NFS: MW, plus many old Xbox games. I need help!

First off, how old are you? If you're old enough to work, you should get your mom to buy you the Xbox, then save up for the PS3 release and buy it yourself. Unless money isn't the issue, and you're not allowed to own both systems no matter who pays for them. In that case, I think it boils down to what kind of games you like more. If you're a big FPS fan, I'd say buy an Xbox.

I have a job, it's just my mom thinks it is a waste to get one and then to get another. I'm thinking what I should do is get the 360, then wait until GT5 comes out, then get a PS3 because my mom will have probably forgotten by then.

Ask her to buy the 360, buy the PS3 yourself, and tell her it's your money and you can waste it any way you please.

Exactly. Plus it sounds like you have more use for the 360 right now. I'm gonna hold out for PS3 though.
