Default TC/ABS Setting for All Cars

It would be great to be able to set the default TC/ABS settings for all newly acquired cars, forgetting to change TC from 5 to 0 or ABS off on a car you have not yet driven before the start of a race is frustrating

Yes yes and yes, great idea. Please let me set a universally default sim settings and if I want to enable TCS or whatever, I'll do it for the few cars that need it.

Perhaps I should claim for repetitive strain injury for the amount of button presses I have to do adjusting the settings on individual cars.

For me it's part of the set up of the car and wouldn't be forgotten if it was put into the car setting screen

Not sure for GT5, didn't play it(on my PS3, full trough anyway).But in GT4 you did have this option.You would
go to your car settings and set your TC, ABS and so...

This is a definate must have for me. A universal TCS setting is key since online lobbies usually have TCS restricted to off.
