Delay for UK?

There is no mention at all about getting the stealth cars with the CE. It mentions you get 5 chromeline cars but nothing about getting any stealth ones.

Notice he said SE not CE. ;) Signature features all the stealth cars (and the chrome cars), Collectors doesn't.
You can only order the Signature edition from Game in the UK, so you've been ordering the Collectors with all the shop-specific stealth cars.

I'm pretty sure the signature edition will work out cheaper for you ;).
 
Well, my CE shows as having a deliverly date of the 3rd still... thats from Amazon.co.uk.

EDIT - oh wait... is it SE? I dunno... it says collectors... but I get 5 Chromeline Cars and 2 Stealth Cars I believe...

The date appears to have disappeared. It now just reads November 2010.

Edit: The banner on the main page says 'only a little while until the November 3 release'.

And was updated this morning to include the Red Bull Racing/Polyphony Digital X1 Prototype in the image rotation.
 
Keep in mind the official GT site for Australia has the 3rd listed but Sony Australia announced recently that it's the 4th and retailers are following. So even if the official site says the 3rd it may not be what Sony are really planning.
 
I work in HMV and we have had pre-release gfx for a while now stating 5th November. Games are rarely released on any other day than Friday - only big releases normally are different such as Halo Reach this week.

I'm pissed that my store isn't having a midnight opening. I'm also pissed it's released on fireworks night, when my girlfriend is bound to want to go out :nervous:

If you look elsewhere on the GT uk site, the date is conspicuously missing.

I've really not been doing very well this morning have I? When I said I was getting the SE from those stores I meant standard which was my first balls up then I completely misread his post due to my initial balls up and in doing so had my second balls up. I think I'll go back to bed

Indeed - but rules of the Release Date thread still apply. When SCEE change their mind and tell people, I'll change the post. Distributors and retailers are not SCEE and so long as the official UK site still says "November 3" (yucky Americanism), November 3rd remains in that post.

I think its important to talk about when we will have the game in our hands, as well as when the launch date is.

I agree only retailers have changed the UK date so it isn't official.

I didn't see anything he said as an argument, just a justification of the discussion about it. If there was a problem with discussing it, the thread wouldn't be open any more.
 
I've ordered the SE instore, I'll just bug them during that whole week luring them with the cash or trying to trick them with the earliest release date printed in hand. Am guessing they will have the bundles a week early for release dates no?

Did the EU/UK GT site ever change all the release dates from November to 3rd November? It could just be that they have always stayed as November release?

Either way it's only 2 days so I doubt I'll do a Cartman over it ;)

Science damn you!


When the UK site stops carrying "November 3" as a release date anywhere and an official statement from Sony comes out saying "No dice. Fifth it is.", I'll change the Release Date post. Until then, the Release Date rules stand.
