PS4 gets a total of 10 days... And X1/360 only get 4 Days... It ends on the 27th. and on the 21st and 22nd they shut it down to bring in the X1/360 players.
 
Is this a Beta access preorder thing?


I'm willing to play it again, just to see if it clicks on me unlike the last time, however I'm not willing to preorder based on what I've played.

Logged in this morning as my old man is expecting his Beta Key and still not up, it just says come back on the 17th? It is in the UK.

Ok so my bad, it's not open until 10am PDT!!! why release a Europe version on American time? Ahh well he'll have to wait till 6PM GMT.
 
If anyone has a spare beta key for ps3, I would gladly take it off your hands.
 
Wondering if anyone that has a Xbox One beta code wants to trade for my PS4 code? Have two left would like to get at least one xbox one code so I can compare on both consoles...
 
The beta is absolutely amazing so far. I had to initialize my PS4 recently, and hadn't bothered to log back in to my sub account. I guess I should have, because it got invited to the Destiny Alpha while my main didn't... I feel dumb.

I'm a Titan, level 5 so far. I'll probably start on some other characters tomorrow. It's very different but I like it a lot. The vibe I get is futuristic Skyrim with guns in space.

About to play my first Crucible match.
 
On the fence whether to get this or not, as I'm not a big fan of shooters. It seems like a sort of futuristic Skyrim(a game I loved) so I'm definitely tempted. What to you beta testers think so far?

Also, if someone has a spare PS3 beta code I could take that off your hands...

I'm level 8 with my Titan, but I can't get a good automatic gun to use in the Crucible. So, I started a Hunter character. Golden Gun looks sick as well.

Got PS3 beta key and I'm trying it now.

Lets see if it changes my view on the game, it might even be a purchase but I'll have to see something more that what I saw the last time.
 
I had it payed off in full, played some of the Alpha and wasn't super impressed and decided to switch to preorder to DriveClub. After playing the Beta I'm definitely getting more into it and will pre-order it again. Now I need to look into the expansion pack and see if it seems worth it.

I think that's mostly the video, played quite a bit now and not noticed any issues. However I've not played anything on a difficult setting yet and only had around 15 AI/players on screen at once, it's possible it may have issues if everything gets crazy.

I've not played any PVP matches yet. I've only just got to Lvl 5. In truth I suck big time at FPS if it's played on a pad. KB and mouse it's a different ball game though.

What rewards do you earn in the PVP matches? XP, weapons, armor?
 
I've played through the first tutorial mission as the... Um... Scout class (I don't know what they call them), got to the tower, bought or was given a scout rifle then went and did the first mission on hard. I really like it, if I had to sum it up I'd say it's Halo, Rage, Borderlands 2 and an MMO (I don't play any so I couldn't name any) all rolled into one. When I get my PS4 for The Phantom Pain I'll probably pick up a copy of Destiny too (unless a PC version is announced before then), but I don't think I'd buy a PS4 just for this. I kept wishing I could widen the field of view and control it with a mouse, so while it was really good it's not going to tempt me so much that I buy a PS4 solely for it. Oh yeah, I was playing on my brother's PS4, he pre-ordered it. Needless to say he's thrilled to finally have a game he actually wants to play.

X1 beta won't be in 1080p, but the retail release should be.

Initially, I was hyped about Destiny and then I learned the emphasis was on MMO which I didn't particularly care as I'm not an online kind of guy, thus my interest in the game heavily waned.

I was watching a video yesterday on the character customization - and that's what reeled me back in. Something so intricate, yet utterly simple is what prompted my pre-order; I'm on the beta now just having the time of my life. :lol:
