It just seemed that every encounter, the main thing was to cheese it to the next part.

As for the gatekeeper part, is the hard any different mechanics wise from the normal raid. The 30's seemed to be making a pigs ear of it, we were ok outside, the away team seemed to be less sure of what they were doing.
 
The templer bit worked ok, but yeah, I dont really know what they were trying to do.

When we did it before it was just did the normal way, everybody knew what they were doing and we just got on with it.

Ah well, have a decent save point got some shards and got 2 sets of the same legs (which I already have) so will break them down for more shards.
 
I know, they were saying about going invisible , wait until the other person is in the other portal and bring them both through at the same time, or wait, or god knows what else.
Level 30 seems to be as far away as ever! I will definitely do another normal raid with this character this weekend, as we missed the first bit. Gotta get them shards!
 
@priesty_lfc we don't have set plans other than finishing one we started last night but I would like to get a hard raid in on Saturday.
 
Got extremely lucky in my raiding today, as I managed to pick up the raid boots and chest on my hunter, as well as the usual shards and extremely rare Chatterwhite.
 
I'll be home for a few hours in a little bit with any luck, any chance we can knock out the normal mode raid today?

If I can somehow find the time to help out with hard, I will.

I am game in an hour to do it if anyone can join me. I would LOVE to finally finish the raid and not just get to Atheon and run out of time.
 
No go for me at the moment, still at the hotel. :(
 
Finished my second hard raid tonight. When things go right it seems so easy but when something goes wrong - whether a glitch or someone making a mistake - things go bad so quick. I finally picked up Vision of Confluence - my third most wanted weapon behind IB and Gjallarhorn - as well as my second raid helmet and Aspect of Glass. Good final haul even though I only received shards and energies up to the Atheon checkpoint.

Hopefully we all can raid together again soon although I think this week is out for me due to Thanksgiving travels.
 
Anyone want to do a raid in a few hours? I want to finally get through it.

I finally got Bad Juju and I only need 11 more kills + assists vs. deaths to get through invective.

It just got better... I picked up the Vex Mythoclast in tonight's hard raid. I suddenly have too many weapons I want to use and upgrade. I know, poor me.:D I just need Fatebring, Ice Breaker and Gjallahorn and I'm set until the expansion.
 
@priesty_lfc and @dhandeh I hope I can join you for the weeklies. If there is room for me that is.

Also is there anyone that wants to do the weekly heroic today with a low level character?

Don't forget Iron Banner gear also can give you level 30!

Ain't got no motivation for Pvp.

@priesty_lfc yes, definitely. Will want to do the Nightfall and heroic 28 with both. Be on about 6pm tomorrow for these.

@drandiiski If you are there when we start, go for it. But it's normally a first come first served, as there is normally 5 or 6 of us that normally do these in our group.

I know what you mean. I won't be able to play Wednesday through Sunday and I think I will go through severe withdrawal. I'm so addicted I'm taking the Vita just to see what Xur is selling on Friday. I need help.

I do it on my phone.

I just need to do the normal raid because friends of mine are doing the hard raid and I can't participate until I reach 30.

Can you buy items from your phone? Does the Android app show what vendors are selling? That will make things easier if you can.

Not true at all. If you're a maxed 29, and I believe you are, and have maxed legendaries and exotics with good impact you'll be golden. 👍

Yes, you'll be doing less damage because of the handicap but your weapons will negate that to a degree.
