I wish we could develop our own paint job, decal and stickers for our cars. (ie: team stickers, sponsor stickers, etc)

Any news if this will be possible?

You can also develop your own paint job to an extent.

I see a near zero chance in this being added to GT5. Though it would be sweet, I definitely enjoy it in Forza.

I can't see this being added, either, and there's no news of anything like it happening. I rarely used it in Forza 3 myself but it would be nice to see, some people can do some amazing stuff with it (while others make crude representations of genitalia and plaster them all over their cars...).

i can see it now, you will have 95 different GT logos to choose from to place on your car and thats it.

Even if you couldn't view other peoples liveries online, even if you couldn't gift or trade liveries... I'd take this. I'm sure we'll get someone in here soon talking about how GT5 wasn't made with anime characters in minds, but bullcrap aside, it'd be awesome designing our own custom paintjobs.

It's been discussed at huge length pre-release: To many it's the most wanted feature, and to some it's not at all welcome. I personally would love it, but only if it's done well, and judging by GT5's other features, I'm not hopeful about the form it'll take when we eventually do get it.

Kaz has said they are "definitely looking into it for the future", or some words to that effect. This could mean anything, however. At least we know they're thinking about it and it'll happen one day. Maybe not even until GT7 though

Starting to get the feeling the PD crew a bunch of old timers that can't adjust to the times or something, perhaps they can get tips from the guys who made Mod Nation Racers, the personalization to your Karts in that game was epic scale. with the primitives and the amount of layers to could add, you were able to literally create anything you put your mind to.
