Instead of limiting the trade to 1m, couldn't Kaz let us have our cars to be sold?

For example. I have about 3 nascars I want to sell. 2 LM cars. đź‘Ž

The only way I could get rid of them was to trade them. But nooo I can't do that anymore. :ouch:

Good update for that reason, but the way it's done. Horribly priceless!
 
Well, another mans good thing is another mans bad thing or something.

I liked trading, because I could get the Group B rally cars I love in return for cars I don't even want...

Even if I can trade the Nascars, theres nothing I want that I already have to get :(

Suppose the PP update is useful :/
 
You both are right. Being able to sell high priced cars would have been a good opportunity to earn some cash.
And yes, I´d say the update was goot, too. But again, could have been other options to solve this I guess..
 
Its not really an update, they didn't really add anything, just changed it.

Gold chrome, however...
 
I am a little confused, where does it say no duping? Can you still back up your own save and reload it after sending under 1 million dollar cars? I understand the trading limit on 1 million + cars.

IMO the new update is good. Now we can play the game as it was meant to be. If this update should have been great, the sale price of the cars would be 50% of the buy price.

Should be able to sell every car in the game aswell ... I have an extra vettle x1 I'd love to sell.

So maybe they didnt really made something against it but less people will have X2010 from now on so less people will be able to rubberband.

I dont say it's good or bad I dont care how you play the game honestly.

Yeah, but there are already many people who own X2010s beforehand, and with the bronze times in the X2010 challenge increased, it will make obtaining one even easier.
 
This patch is complete crap, and a testament to PD not putting enough time into their game or anywhere near adequate testing.

If they were so concerned about duping in the beginning, they should have put a serial number system on cars among many other options. This is not the first game having a duping problem. Plenty of examples exist of what they could have done to fix the problem instead of punishing people that were legitimately using the gift system.

I'm now out a FGT and probably a Lexus IS F concept I had loaned to a friend for their respective series. On top of that, I never duped. I traded legitimately bought/won cars in an attempt to collect the cars I wanted to have from this game. The only X1's I have are the ones I won...

If PD is so concerned about duping they should properly address it FIRST AND FOREMOST. This patch STILL has not fixed duping! After they PROPERLY address the issue, they should delete everyones garage, then again reward cars won based on the completed races in the save file, remove the credit cap and refund all credits earned in the game.

Just when 1.06 was starting to make me think twice about how I felt about PD, they just pulled the rug out from under millions of legitimate players because they got burnt on a duping issue they epically failed on not only before release but 3 months into the game.
 
Nope, I used to think duping was dumb but then I realized how long it was going to take me to get cars I wanted. PD is just trying to extend the life of their game.

You didn't win anything. You just got some of the 1000 cars in the game that you (like the rest of us) already paid hard earned cash for.

The people at PD are sadists. The prize car you get for most races is the one car that would have made winning that race easier.

People just want to race cars they know around tracks they know. Who are PD to tell us we cannot?

What a load of you know what. It is a game, you play it to unlock stuff to get a sense of achievement. What is the point in having all the cars available from the start? Now for sure, they need to increase the credits and let us sell any car we want so we get a chance to try out all the cars. However effectively killing duping also stopped people making multiple accounts, which I am sure Sony was not happy with.
 
I think that this update contained mixed curses; some good, some horrible.

What exactly did that pic with the rubber banded controller mean? I've never seen that done...

And I completely agree with the fact that we need to be able to sell any car we want to... It's a pain to have several cars just sitting in my garage doing nothing whatsoever while I struggle to tune up the cars that I do drive...

I posted that to signify that people still won't play the game properly despite this patch. They'll just let two rubber bands play and grind to get money for them.

I dont see why anyone thinks they destroyed duping. It will continue as before. It just wont be hi end cars. Look at the gold paint released last night. Is all over this board and probably on the bay lol. They cant stop it so they should get over it. They have made millions of dollars. They should just leave it alone

Obviously not, but it's in the AUP. You agreed to it when you signed up.
