Weather was great today but I didn't see much (although I was fishing most of the day) but when we went home we stopped at a 50s diner to get some nice health food (lol) and these two were there.

And this contraption was cool looking. I'm pretty sure it had a VW Beetle engine. (My camera can't take pics in the dark, so sorry)

This car though is the real reason why I stopped by here, I've seen a glimpse of this old car months back here thinking it would be something neat and I guess I was right. This Mercedes 300SEL is in surprisingly good condition.

If that was the 6.3 it would be a seriously quick car, but heck I'll still take a 4.5. Also never realised they had hydro-pneumatic suspension (or "self-levelling air suspension" in later models according to wiki), very cool

Haven't seen it on any of them, only on the side above the gills.
And I think the 'regular' SLR roadster has pretty visible parking sensors in the back bumper, where the 722 hasn't.

Broken down Delta 88 convertible. I saw it getting towed away a few hours after I took this pic.

I'm pleased with how this picture turned out, even if the shutter speed priority setting I use to reduce blur puts a lot of noise in the picture.
