Not much to report for Saturday. With the Final Four in town, everyone who's anyone is downtown, as there were festivities all day. I don't photograph in downtown, so I missed out. I can hardly call it missing out though as the car show I went to before my photo session did produce an Enzo, F50, and 288 GTO. Anyway, here was my small take:

Yesterday, i saw a GTR R32 Skyline, R34 (slightly modded and pic's coming later, parked near my house), HSV something and Another Renault 8 (Just the average one)

Any pictures of the 288 GTO Doug? It's my favourite car in the whole wide world...

A couple of F360 Fezzas and a hugely expensive number plate on the Bimmer...

(I also saw a Rosso Red 599 GTB yesterday and have to say that it looked mightily good)

Purple Supra in poor light. Hate Cayennes. This one took the biscuit for bad taste...

What's the fourth picture of? I cannot quite tell what the car is. It has to do with the lighting and the car color.

There was a man at my high school that was tuning our piano in the band room. I noticed he was wearing an Edelbrock jacket so i decided to go talk to him. Turns out he claimed to be Bob Saleen, Steve Saleen's cousin.

Nothing too special, but this weekend I have seen more good cars than I have in a long while. Summer must be coming.

Anyway, last weekend, I say a Brabus S-slass, of the late body style, not current. This weekend, I saw something that hasn't been sold here for a long time (brand), but I don't know what it was. Other sightings from yesterday include an Aston Martin DB9 while test driving a GTI, some older Rolls Royce (in Burien!) and of course, the usual M3s. Today's sightings include an Elise (yellow), more M3s, a Citroën something or other, a Ferrari 360, an NSX and a Smart at a VW dealer being sold as a Mercedes. Sorry, no pics. I really need to start carrying a camera with me.:guilty:

The best out of the whole weekend? A GTI:

What is so great about it? It's in my garage.

I was down in Beverly Hills today. Saw some sweet cars. I got pic of all of them EXCEPT the Porsche Carrera GT!!! I hate myself. But I did catch something none of you have. Shelby GTH rentacar! Woot! Ill post pics tomorrow. I saw it at the parking lot for RCX in Pomona. Ill post up pics tomorrow. Also, one interesting spot included a Toyota Corolla Wagon from the last generation (the round kind).

Oof. I just about had an embolism. The P1...the RB5...as a Subaru fan, I would love to see either, and you've seen both. It doesn't help that with the RS2 (a personal favorite), Delta, and the Alfa's, it's like an old issue of Evo come to life. Super-👍!

Where are Americans seeing Nobles?!

Come up north for vacation, rather than going back to Denver. It must be the proximity to Canada or something, but for me to see two in as many months....

No 288GTO pictures? You are fired! Return your camera to the nearest GTP depot, and report to unemployment.... That's my favorite Ferrari of all time; never seen it in person. How many are in the US? Three?

Anyway, I'm headed to NYIAS this Friday. Any specific requests?

I may have told you about this, but near my house in Walnut, CA, on valley blvd, there is a shop with not one, but TWO race-spec R34 skyline GTRs!!! When my dad takes me there, Ima snap some pictures for you.

My dad also knew of a LM002 somewhere in Manhattan, but he's never shown me :grumpy:

Denver was chosen as one of the cities which got them. I've seen two on the road and an entire line of them at the airport.

 The car show shots are in the Videos and Photos forum - here. Didn't want to post them in this thread lest I violate the rules!

Any idea how many there are in the nation? There's at least one registered in Denver. I'm not exactly desperate to see it like the Veyron or the Enzo, but it would be pretty nice and I'm surprised you've seen more than one!

Doug: You forgot DM's sighting of one of the original GT350-H's

Shelby GT350-H ( and yes this one is real to )

ive been gradually remembering what i saw the last few days.
no pics, just a list...

Chrysler 300c (CRD i think)
Bentley CGT
Porsche 996 Turbo (facelift?)
Nissan figaro (metallic gold, looked nice)

today: ( sorry for crappy pics, my phone is so slow when set to full resolution and the lens needed cleaning  )
GT2 or just a turbo?

A Cooper S, Yay! :D

so besides the dual rear wipers (which I admit is pretty cool) is there anything else that makes the wagon special? I see them a fair amount in boring old MD

Sounds like they could the AutomotiveForum sponsored cars as both those Skylines are seen racing in California track meets.

Doug:
There's at least 4 Nobles here in Texas. One black one I had seen (a GTO3-R w/out spoiler) was very loud. He was interested in ordering a Super Snake at Unique (where I saw it), but was disappointed to see no orders were being taken at the time. The front right of his Noble had also been hit by a woman on a cell phone. That section was apparently, the sanded-down part, which made it look very unprofessional, that had been hit. He had a Noble specialist coming in to fix it within the week.

He is still, very proud of owning one. I've seen him from then on at the Dallas Auto Show, and Texas Motor Speedway.

Didn't see much, spent most of my time playing footie in a park so not much car watching. But I did see something pretty awesome...

On first appearences just a SL500.

Wait, did you see that?

Okay, a closer picture....

you inadvertantly caught a fairly rare car in the pic, the car next to the sl"R" is an E-280, I want one really bad

That's almost has bad as the Hyundai Continental.

I still believe these are just jokes pulled by pranksters though then again, people have been that stupid.

well if it is a prank, I dont know who should be more angry, the person who lost their "R" or the person that owns the SL
