Cord 810/812, parked on the side of the street just near my house. I feel bad, I should've asked if he needed assistance as it seemed he wasn't planning on going anywhere and this is the first time I've ever seen a car parked in this particular area.

He seemed pleased that someone so young not only had an interest in his car, but was able to correctly guess the brand without assistance and allowed me to take the picture.

This car was incredibly innovative, using a FWD layout that allowed the floor to mount low to the ground, removing the necessity of running boards. It also had a four-speed electronically controlled semi-automatic transmission.

'fraid that's all the story there is.

I was pretty surprised to see something like that just stranded on the side of the street, though.

EDIT: Yeah, so I realized I'm an idiot and should've gone to see if he needed any help. Walked back up the street and he was still there, but a relative in a Lexus had arrived. I crossed the street to talk to them. It had broken down and he was waiting for AAA to arrive. Both very nice folks and were happy to hear I had guessed it was a Cord. He's owned the car for about 10 years.

Yeah, i-MieV's are pretty rare, I've seen 3 or 4 maybe. But I've never seen, and didn't know about, the G8 GXP! Nice spot!
 
Didnt get a picture, but I saw ANOTHER Cord 810 today. A completely different one from that pictured above.

Missed couple 'vettes, GT-R's...etc The thing that i really missed a photo of was after all of this, i went to buy some sandwich from Subway and went back home with my uncle. While we were talking at the stop light, suddenly a red 1st Gen Dodge Viper passes by and i had my phone in my pocket...:grumpy: that like the first time i ever seen a viper.
