Um, nice Ascari? Isn't that an A10?

Really? I see one of these at least once a week (mostly different ones). I thought it was simply the replacement for the original 2.7T.

M5Power
Mercedes-Benz
- SLK55 AMG [are those side grilles modified?]

Yes, I think so (official image from MBUSA-AMG):

And probably because it's not a real SLK55 (as Sakiale already stated).

M5Power

Nuts to that. I thought the 80's were over, gone along with chestwigs and cheap gold chains for all Porsche drivers. :yuck: The choice of a GT2 by itself is good, though. Just not crazy about what was done afterwards....

M5Power
South Carolina tags, and I figured the owner would be a celebrity so here's a shot of him.

It's Wee Man!

M5Power

Awesome color. Probably the best one for that car.

But I had a rather nice day, too:

Ford Taurus 100

This may be nothing, but does the blurry '100' tag mean anything?

Bentley Continental GT

Yet another, but at least it was paired with a nice Rolls Royce.

Cadillac STS-V

Driven like he stole it, then got pulled over after making that turn...because the local police precinct was right up that street.

Cadillac (I think...)

Not driven fast, but I was exiting the highway just then. Any ideas on what this is?

Lotus Elise

Can't get enough of these. I must own one someday...or maybe an Exige/Exige S. The background will look more familiar in a bit.

Maybach 57S

See? Rich people go shopping too, and some don't care how they park. :D

Shelby Cobra replica

Orange/black is an interesting choice, but at least he's honest about it's origins.

Ferrari 599 GTB

In the background of the aforementioned Lotus....

Ferrari 575 Superamerica

Since I'll probably never see one elsewhere....

And today's winner:

Bugatti Veyron

Literally, my heart jumped when I saw it. I was waiting for someone across the street from Miller (seen above), and walked down the road a bit (to the other Miller showroom) and there it was, hiding behind a pair of Phantoms. Diminutive car, that's for sure, and an excellent job of packaging. The best part was I have an AutoArt model from a year ago in this exact paint scheme. This particular is on consignment, I think, since it clearly looked used: scratched door handles, grass bits in the front grille, and well-worn tires. My best sighting ever. So far.

Crazy! Even in Denver, where all-wheel drive cars are everywhere, it takes me weeks to see them.

A few Ford models were given optional packages which included special trim bits to commemorate the brand's 100th anniversary. They're rare - I've seen just two Tauruses, including, coincidentally, one just a few weeks ago. I think the Windstar was given the treatment too, but my memory's a bit cloudy on this subject.

Great spot!! 👍 👍 Stock wheels and a 57S - there are only about 100 of those in the USA right now, so savor the sighting.

Thanks for the Veyron shots and the others - dealer or not they're rare - although I noticed you skipped the yellow 550 Barchetta (448 made) for the 575 Superamerica (559 made).

Midnight purple or an aftermarked colour?:

That looks like Midnight Purple II, which is a rare R34 colour.
Definitely not a factory R33 colour, R33 Midnight purple is like VashTheStampede described, a solid purple.

I went to MPH06 too. I posted a huuuuge load of picture a while back in the thread.

but I'll never park over 2 spaces. That's just selfish.
dont you need to keep one for the AA van :p

zonda drivers like to park over 2 spaces too apprently

seen today, bmw driver with a sense of humour......

Harry, were you win Greenwich CT? Thats the only place I know of with a Veyron in the Northeastern US... Please note that I'm only saying this because of the liscense plates.

While he's definitely in Greenwich for the photos, I'm sure there are more than just that Veyron in the northeast.

Yeah, that Escort is in amazing condition! Great spot!

Yeh I know such good condition usually they are all rusty in this country. Don't know what that piece of rubbish nearest the camera was. More intrested in the Escort......not.

I saw a Mustang with the 100 badge just the other day Ironically, I think it was a v6.

Absolutely incredible find you have there. I've never seen one in person, and I often doubt if I ever will. I just want to touch it, once, and maybe hear it fire-up...

Here's an interesting spot:

A Cadillac CTS manual. This one has Delaware plates, which is a tough state to spot here in Georgia (in Colorado, forget about it - if I see one this summer, it'd be incredible). So I decided to do a search to see just how crazy this was: according to AutoTrader, only 6% of non-V-series CTS models are manuals, and there are only 51 CTS's for sale in Delaware - meaning there are just three manual non-V CTS's on sale in the whole state. I wonder if there are 50 CTS manuals in all of Delaware.

They sell moderately well up here. You can find them if you look hard enough, but that being said, its not like every CTS is a manual transmission either. Most of the Cadillac dealers I've been to have at least one or two CTS models with a stick, and they are generally 'stripper' models (just what I like).

...Oddly enough, I had a helluva time finding a BMW 3-series with a stick the other day here at the dealer. They had a few, but the number of automatics was staggering, given the nature of most BMW drivers around here...

OK, here is what i saw on my Saturday morning. Nothing too special

I actually dont know what this is. Looks like an S63 but i think its just an S550 with wheel and aero package

M3 with really wide rims

Carrera S cabrio?

NSX

Mark LT - lots of F150's on the road but you dont see these things very often

2 SLK's in one pic. The black is an SLK55 and the white is just an SLK350

Bad picture but this is an R32 skyline GTS - dont see these everyday in Toronto

Ram SRT-10

Just came back from the gumball 3000 rally with loads of pics.

I wonder would it be better if it was posted here or in its own thread in pics & videos?

Go right ahead and post them here.

Which reminds me,

Shows how out of the loop I am: I had no idea the Gumball was going on right now...

BTW: Does anyone know the Bugatti count?
