Most mail carriers in rural parts of the US either use right-hand drive Jeeps or tag team duties in old LeSabres. Except for LaFarge, Wisconsin, which had a Commodore parked outside the post office earlier today.

The shape initially caught my attention, and went in for a closer look to confirm that it was indeed a Holden. It has me really curious as to how one of these ended up in the Midwestern boonies as a mail car, and how long it's been in service. The seven digit tag indicates that it's received a new registration in the past few years, but the condition makes me think it's been here a while; definitely not collector export material. (Also, it's a 3.8 Executive model with an auto, for those curious.)
Sold in Europe with a slightly different front clip as Opel

That thing has seen some life.

Good day in Detroit.

Afternoon school pick up. Saw my first X-Bow. That joint was nice! White. Old man driving it with open face helmet and normal glasses. Was wearing a heavy motorcycle jacket, looking to park the car. Couldn't get my daughter to snap a pic quick enough.

Don't know if I'll see it again. Had Queensland plates(I'm in New South Wales).

Well just went for a walk to my local Sainsburys and seen a BMW CSL in the flesh for the first time, and in Sainsburys car park was a 70's Dodge Tradesman. I did see a B5 RS4 as well a few days ago for the first time also. Its quite surprising how many US imports are around my area compared to JDM and exotic stuff. I used to see a 3rd gen Camaro regularly visiting someone on my street until a couple of years ago and around Sainsburys I've seen a couple of C7 Corvettes, pre-facelift Charger a few times and a '09-'14 Challenger.

Sadly I have no pictures so here is a Plymouth GTX from a few years back.

Always on a school run. Saw a yellow Ferrari 599. Black top. Black wheels. Yellow raised "Pirelli" letters on the tyres and yellow letters on the black number plates: "LUCKYME".

Pretty good bet it's actually a Merkur XR4Ti. An uncommon enough sight today, to be sure, but likely not as uncommon as an imported Sierra XR4.
Thanks, learned something new today again. Never even heard of that. A pity it doesn't have the V6

Does Woodward Ave usually have that many interesting cars driving down it on the regular, or were those cars coming to/leaving an event?

Also, how is car spotting in downtown Detroit and places around the city? I’m assuming your pictures were taken in royal oak but I’ve always heard Detroit is a great city for car spotting, would like to go there someday.
Yes, I go to Detroit on weekends for car shows and most of the stuff I see are in the Birmingham area/old Woodward. Those were cars not going to a show I was at that’s on Woodward. These were some of the stuff at the show.

I've seen many kinds of imported in Australia. Kei cars to exotic cars. This my first time seeing a modern Crown. Hybrid, no less.

Real cool. I'd prefer the Crown in my avatar, but this would still do me.

Lexus SC with a nice stance in a Safeway parking lot.

Just two spots away from the Lexus was this Volkswagen Thing (Type 181).

1958 Imperial (not Chrysler, Imperial was its own brand at this point) hardtop outside a machine shop.
