I saw a new camaro today. Are those things even officially in production? Has it been spotted in this thread yet? Or am I the first one ever? I'm on my berry right now, I'll post the (bad) pic when I get home.

Pre production models have been being screwed together since January, I believe. Otherwise, delivery-ready cars aren't supposed to start rolling off the lines until the end of March or early April.

There was a production setback, so its coming out a month later that it was supposed to.

Still! A good spot! I can't wait to see one on the road!
 
Saw a couple of Challenger R/Ts today. One in white, one dark gray. I guess I never paid attention to the huge R/T logo where the stripe comes over the fenders.

Man that is a handsome looking car. I feel like going to the local VW dealership just to look at it. I'll take mine with the 3.6l VR6 with a 6spd oh and of course 4motion please!


Aww. I went to build one at the VW site. I can only get the 4motion 3.6L VR6 with an auto?!

I would have chased it down for better pics but i was already late for work so i didnt bother

Well that's certainly odd. That looks to be a production version base V6, not a pre production model. Funny I was watching the Barret Jackson auction today and they were auctioning off the first production Camaro to be spec'd out by the winning bidder.
 
Well that first photo isnt a Koenigsegg, thats a Mosler (MT900?)
but apart from that and the other photo of the black and white vents which i think is also a mosler they seem correct. Bit OT but there you have it.

Yeah its a Mosler MT900, I'd recognise that shape anyday.

By best guess would have been that it is some kind of GM test vehicle, as close to production as it could be. But I also see that there isn't a plate on the back, so its very hard to tell!
 
Soon after I took the picture, the man got out and was fiddling with the camera. I pussied taking another picture of him, especially when he's on the roof (he probably thought I was a **** or something, especially after reading about abuse they've got). So I drove off.

Bah. You haven't seen a Camaro until you've seen the convertible. Apologies for bad picture, literally a quick grab the camera and hope moment yesterday. I'll try for another if it's still there tomorrow.
