That is a 73-75 Pontiac Grand Ville ;)

I have.

Pictures later. Saw an perfect condition Renault R5 Turbo. Perfect! (Are on the server PC)

And some nice rally shots.

Now some shots from the past few weeks. (I'm too lazy to do it daily)

Scirroco

Quite rare to see a Escalade

I bet the chick was thinking I was taking a photo of her, she was very nice to me later... lol

Not so rare but a nice car with a nice paint

Does anyone know what that is?

And with that shot we know who has the pants on at home rofl

Maseratis are everywhere. Three in this shot too, but the 3200 is being obscured a little.

Wouldn't usually take a photo of a Soarer but this one looked nice. What's the significance of the 'R' on the badge?

Detailing makes me think of a late 40's BMW, but i can't find anything that definitely matches.

The shape of the windscreen surround, lack of running boards and the way the soft-top stores away unlike other BMW's of the time, make me think it's either a replica or a later chop of a saloon. Or something else. Obviously.

The real question is, did Rue just get lost or was he in the neighborhood for a reason?:sly: Still makes me jealous that the armpit of HK is better than the best parts of Cleveland for spotting...

Haha! The armpit of Hong Kong is full of bankers, lawyers and pilots. Loads of my spots are from around there, but this one just happens to sum up the place in one photo.

Did look also, didn't find it either...

The armpit of HK ----rofl----

Here is the promised R5 Turbo + other

Looks like a track day ibo, but I'm not going to complain because those are some awesome little racers!

Caught a few on a sunny afternoon.

Charger.... stretch!?! So funny I had to shoot it.

don't know what exactly this Ford is, but looked sweet! Edit: custom grille 6th gen (68-69) Fairlane/Torino?
02ford.jpg

saw this funny little 80's hatch, was like, looks familiar, Dodge? Nope. Yugo. Haven't seen one in a decade, and this one is mint! What's that air intake on the hood? Supercharger? CR-X behind it is a bonus, always like those.
03yugocrx.jpg

rotten shot of a Gran Turismo, but not the worst photo of the day by far, you'll see!
04maserati.jpg

Cayman looked nice, 95% of the (non Cayenne) Porsches I see are Boxsters and Carreras... and the other 4% are Panameras.
05cayman.jpg

that's a GTS in case you can't tell, first one I've seen... still looking for a Turbo S.

and then, sitting still on a side street talking on the cell, my headlights caught a beautiful silhouette, a long low Porsche with a giant spoiler. Sorry babe, gotta go! And the chase was on.

First try...

nope, 2nd attempt
12gt2b.jpg

fail! wait, no, the lettering is reversed, a reflection (damn flash), and the car is in there, kind of. Got close enough to read GT2. Here's what I saw going by in front of me (not my pic):

997 GT2, nice!

I really should post in this thread. I never have my camera on me. The dealership I work at has lots of nice cars come through. We've just taken delivery of a 2012 black/black 1M coupe that is just mouth watering. So much better looking than our M3... lol.

I saw a little today.

Mercedes SL 280:

Kleemann (not sure which model):

Maserati Coupe GranSport:

Mercedes SLK 350:

The wide body work around the wheels makes it a 944.

Some later models of the 924 had the wide bodywork, such as the 924 Carrera GT/GTS, these look a lot like the series 1 944, but are pretty rare. However the pic is definitely a series 2 944, the "rounded" front bodywork is the most distinguishing feature.

I'm finding a new love for the old front-engined Porsches, took pics of a couple of 968s recently which i'll post here, would love to see a 928 though, not seen one for a loooong time. Most front-engined Porsches make very practical and affordable classics.

Audi S4. I nearly got to drive this one but being an audi it was broken and had to go back into service again...

Brand new 2011 1M. This thing is stunning in person!

picture16260.jpg

Plum crazy purple dodge charger SRT8. I love this color.

picture16261.jpg

I was unaware we had a chevy volt come in. This would be my first time seeing one of these in person. I'll have to take a closer look some time.

picture16262.jpg

Not pictured is our new 2011(?) chevy caprice/holden commodore ex police car. I couldn't find it today. Maybe tomorrow I'll snap that one if I have a chance.

It has been ages since I posted, but I have a lot of material to come:

Going tanking I came across this Pontiac Fiero formula, I like them on this side of the Atlantic *punt intended*:

Some weeks ago, driving back from lunch this Ferrari 430 stopped behind me at a traffic light:

This is more then a month ago in a traffic jam: Porsche Turbo

About two weeks ago I read someone wanted to take a picture of an Audi S3, well one lunch I saw this:

but then I thought there is a lack of ambition and RS3 is better, I turned around and found this:

Coming back from the UK on the motorway: Citroen 2CV, with that booth I believe it is quite old:

Still regularly see the standard cars, like this Mercedes C63 AMG when driving home:

This one was from before the summer, leaving for work, this Mercedes SLK55 AMG stood in front of the house:

At shopping too good cars still show up like this Trans AM (wonderful sound I noticed a few days later):

Moved to a new area.. this belongs to a guy two doors down. There's some other nice cars in the area, but everytime I see them my camera isn't with me.

I'll get pics of the others soon =)

Vince, are there a lot of American cars in Luxembourg? You always seem to post atleast on Corvette or something everytime. And that Trans Am seems real out of place.

By the way, I'll be in London in two days :dopey:.

Americans are quite rare over here, except for corvettes. But they are shiny so they catch the eye.

There are a lot of luxery and sports caar though

And Vince you call that a 2CV??;)

That's a 2CV Charleston, that and the "Dolly" paint jobs are scarce nowadays (as are any 2CVs) but were very common back in the day (1980s I guess), in the UK anyway and presumably other parts of Western Europe. That super-old 2CV in Vince's pic is much rarer. The Charleston is still very nice though!

^You know your business man. For me a 2CV is a 2cv rofl.

Learning every day 👍

OK, so in San Francisco on my trip there, we came across a car.
This car was parked at the side of the road, but it was all taped up.
The badge, the hood, nearly everything.
There was no gear knob and the steering wheel was covered.
There was even what we concluded to be a fake badge to throw people off.
We decided that it was a pre-release car as it had manufacturer plates on it, although it was from Michigan.
When everyone started poking around near it and looking at it, the driver ran to the car, ripped the cover off the steering wheel, and gunned it.
But not in time for me not to be able to catch the three prongs on the wheel. Although it was taped over, you could see that it was a Mercedes badge on the wheel.
