Just got home from my trip to southern France. I posted some of the first shots earlier, however I wasn't able to get on the internet in the last half of the trip, which is where I saw most of the good stuff, so here it all is from the last three days (Thursday through Saturday):
Thursday...
Some family and I started off by driving to Cannes, where we parked and saw this straight away. Audi R8 V10 (I believe):
Then, coming around the corner to the Carlton hotel, we were met by an insane amount of expensive cars. The most insane spots of the trip were definitely made here.
Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster, Maybach 57S, Ferrari 612 and of course... Bugatti Veyron Super Sport:
And just on the other side, there was this. Ferrari Enzo
Then sitting in front of the hotel, parked by the road:
KTM X-bow:
Lamborghini Aventador in matte black and matte purple. My first Aventador(s)
And behind them this Murciélago in matte blue:
While checking the Aventadors out, this awesome looking Shelby Cobra (Factory Five replica) came by:
And this, which definitely belongs in the questionable mods thread. A 575 with spinners
And then this matte grey-blueish Audi R8 GT:
Hurrying down to one of the hotels further down the road, it was quite obvious that the 458 is popular:
And for the record, the 458 is
beautiful, however there were soooo many of them that they seemed somewhat normal by the end of the trip. We must've seen a new one every hour or so in the car hotspots. Still awesome though...
Anyways, moving on, there was this nice looking Turbo Porsche beside the 458s:
Walking back to the Carlton, there was this SLR 722 roadster parked outside. I'd also seen a stock SLR coming into Cannes, which IMO looks better...
Another Maybach:
Another 458
Maserati GranTurismo driving by on the other side of the road...
... followed by this. My first Nissan GT-R
Nice and clean Gallardo. It was some form of rental though. Had a bunch of ads in the windscreen:
Aston Martin DB9 (or DBS, maybe):
Rolls-Royce Ghost:
Another Aventador, with weird matte black detailing:
I saw a clean, white Aventador later that evening, however I couldn't get a photo of it, as we where driving

The only Aventadors I managed to get a photo of on these three days were all matte something. It's a really, really cool car, however I'd wish that people would keep the original paint on it...
Either way, fortunately there was this clean Murciélago parked across from it:
And coming down to the harbor, there was this California, which I saw in Monaco the Monday before:
And then this Quattroporte further down:
Walking back again, this GranTurismo was parking:
First time I was able to get a proper SLS AMG photo

This car is much cooler in real life than it is on photos, IMO:
Ferrari 612:
Coming out of the Carlton, Chevrolet Corvette (C6). It's nice to see some American cars every once in a while:
Aston Martin DBS behind the Carlton:
After seeing these in Cannes, we drove on to Monaco, where we started off by seeing this. My first Ferrari FF
And beside it, there was this funky colored Maybach:
Coming out of the garage, this equally funky colored Phantom drove by:
Parking outside the casino, there were two Aston Martin Virage Volante's (another first):
And the same Lamborghinis as in Cannes:
Old Rolls-Royce Phantom (the best looking, in my opinion):
New Bentley Mulsanne (first):
four-fifty-eight:
Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster:
Ferrari F430 Spider:
At the tight hairpin, another F430 Spider:
Brabus G-wagon:
And then, coming back from Monaco, we saw a Ghost on the motorway:
We also saw a R8 come blasting by, doing at least 200 km/h. Obviously no photo of that one. Just thought it was kinda cool. Anyways, that was the first day of car spotting, which was also the most insane.
Friday:
Started off the day at the beach, where we saw this Valentino Balboni Gallardo on the way out. Couldn't get a better picture than this:
Later, in St. Tropez, there was this nice, parked SLR Roadster:
And a BMW Z8:
Heading out of the town, Chrysler Prowler:
And then coming back into town later in the day, another Aston Martin DBS:
And another 458. This time in yellow, which I thought was probably the nicest looking color of all the ones I'd seen:
Old Porsche. Not sure which model, but it looked cool:
And another GranTurismo:
Ferrari 575:
Rolls-Royce Phantom:
Ferrari 599 GTO (first)! I've always liked the 599. The GTO version was even cooler. So awesome in person:
Walking down the harbor, another SLR Roadster:
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder:
Aston Martin Rapide. Also a first:
First time I was able to get a GranCabrio on camera:
And further down the road, there was this
really nice looking Gallardo!
Ended with seeing this always cool SLS:
We headed back to St. Tropez later that evening/night, where we started off with this matte black McLaren MP4-12C. Apart from the color, it was a pretty awesome car:
And then
another Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Beside it there was an assortment of Ferrari's. For obvious reasons, I payed most attention to the Bugatti, though I did manage to snap a photo or two of the Ferrari's:
599's:
430 Scuderia:
And then moving on, there was this Elise...
... and a Porsche 911 GT3
That concluded that day of spotting. Another day another Bugatti
Saturday:
This last day was pretty relaxed. Most of the day, we just walked around in St. Tropez, enjoying the atmosphere and the fireworks later that evening, so we didn't do much car spotting. Still managed to get some nice ones:
First up, a Aston DB7 at the beach:
Moving on to St. Tropez, there was this absolutely epic looking GT-R. I never really liked it before seeing it in real life. So awesome
Same parking lot. New Bentley Continental:
Moving on to the same place we'd seen the Veyron, there was this somewhat ugly matte grey Gallardo Spyder:
And at the harbor, some more Lambo's

Two Gallardo Spyder's and a matte black Aventador (a different one from before):
At the Byblos (hotel) parking lot. Nice SLS:
And before going to the fireworks show. Awesome original Gallardo. I think I prefer this over the newer ones:
Anyways, that would've concluded my trip to France, however, just before going back to the car, I managed to spot one last thing before going, which was almost too good to be true...
Another Bugatti Veyron! This time just a "normal" one (though no Veyron is normal. Just less extreme):
And that's it. Sorry for the long post
