Right? I had to make a point to keep it separate from my photo mode folder for fear of losing it in there :P

And I just about pooped myself when I walked up on that Diablo GT. so gorgeous. Sorry again for wrong thread but glad y'all are enjoying the pictures, ill go ahead and post the gallery link in the correct thread as well.

Funny story when the owner of the chrome Viper was standing next to it, some idiot walks up and starts picking at the chrome wrap. Owner then leaps at the guy and puts him in a chokehold. Some of the bystanders tried to break it up and he eventually let the guy go, the dude starts apologizing like crazy but the owner is obviously still incredibly pissed. Very tense situation. He then starts trying to make small talk with the owner (who just nearly killed him 10 seconds earlier) but that wasn't working out very well either. Pretty funny. Definitely don't blame the owner one bit. I mean don't choke a dude out, but at the same time, don't start picking at someones $100k custom car!!
 
Probably in the wrong thread, but I was riding the city bus this morning and I came across a Chevy Monte Carlo. The car itself isn't anything special, but the fact that it was claimed to be a pace car for the Brickyard 400 is. I suspect that if the claims are true, it would have to be a 1994 pace car for the race. I will get pictures up asap.

And Naveek, nice spot on the G55, I've yet to see one, and, no fair you get the 1 Series M in Canada but we don't in the US?!?
 
I thought you could get the 1 Series M in the States. It was a one model year only special for 2011, however. Maybe you just haven't spotted one.
 
Hmm... guess I haven't checked back on 1M marketing for a couple years, seems they did ship 740 to the US and 220 to Canada. None of the other US spotters has sighted/posted one to DYSAGT (that I can recall) or to the Ohio ferrarichat forum that I also frequent, so I never thought to question if BMW had ever sent any over here. 1/220 to Canada is a great spot!
 
Maybe so. But I think it's a local one, as I think I've seen that particular one before but couldn't snap a pic at the time. Still, if it's that rare, it counts.
 
I've seen a 1M at a car show here. I got a picture of it but I'm in a hurry and can't find it right now.
 
I saw one in the parking lot at the grand am, ill have to look through my folder and see if I got a pic. I've seen one or two before as well, once in STL, once in Cincy. There aren't a lot of them here

Dac_Xint do you have any more info on the 964 Carrera Cup? Wiki is a little unclear regarding street-legal versions. Awesome pics however, and I'd never even heard of the SDR, looks kinda familiar but nothing wrong with that :)
 
Not just you. I remember getting into an argument with a friend who thought an MR-S was a Boxster.

I'm going to have to get back to you on that one next time I see it without the covers. I seem to remember seeing the cup decal and a full roll cage as it drove by a long time ago, but I could be wrong (particularly true for HK porches cars as everyone modifies them). I didn't want to pull back the covers out of respect for the owner, so I just named it to the best of my memory.

And an E36 M3 to cap things off, all within about 20 minutes of each other. Yay!
