I also saw the 300SL (like those from the 90s which are on GT5) But I wasn't sure if it was worth ... or a Maybach. :indiff:

I though that MB was the one that Jeremy Clarkson used on Top Gear against some guys on the rope game? The one that had 1000 NM of torque?

Yeah, thought so too :)

Don't really know what this is.

Barkas B1000! :D

A DDR legend and the perfect alternative to a VW camper.

I suppose these can go here, but these are owned by the owner of a couple of car dealerships. He keeps some in the side of the Jaguar dealer and has quite a few more.

My second Aventador!

An MP4-12c Spyder, I guess his hardtop wasn't good enough...

California, such a nice looking car.

Group shot. If you wonder why I didn't get picture of the 458 Spyder and XKRS, it's because I have pictures of them from late last year.

The CL63 was never offered with a V12. What I think you got was either someone trying to dress up a normal CL, or a CL63 with V12 Bi-Turbo badges stuck on. Most likely the former.

With that generation of CL, the 63 was a naturally aspirated V12, while the 65 was a turbocharged V12. Both are very rare, 26 made of the 63 and 196 made of the 65, so either way it's an excellent spot. Of course, someone could have taken a CL500 and added all those badges, but even the CL500 is a good spot.

The 63 were all V8s, but the 65 were all turbo V12s. Confusingly, both the 63 and 65 were offered for that generation. That car looked like a CL65 AMG; the wheels, height, and front bumpers seem to match.

39 degrees and sunny today = best Saturday we've had in months, so I took an hour before and after work and went spotting. Glad I did!

Vanquish S, my first Vanquish!

Z06

Arnage

another CTS-V, like the 5th I've seen now, this one a Coupe

Quattroporte

GT-R

and a couple of driving buddies that looked good together. beyond 997, not sure what model Porsche we have here...

Check wikipedia for the C215 Mercedes, it says that the CL63 had a V12.

Interesting. If you look up the Mercedes CL article on Wikipedia, it says the CL63 had a V8.

With further research, I think you're right. Everyone online seems to be as confused as Wikipedia is though.

@jeffgoddin, You seen all of those in one day?! I'd be lucky to see any of those (except the Vette, Miata, or maybe the CTS-V) in a month!

Duuuude, last time I saw a GT-R I can't remember, never seen a Vanquish (though I did catch that V8 Vantage S not too long ago), not sure if ever an Arnage. And a Z06 is still pretty great IMO, though a ZR1 would be better.

And, not in one day, but in about 30 minutes early, and 20 minutes late, less than an hour total.:sly:

But yeah, weather's getting better, and evidently this is the only place where nice cars gather to show off on the West Side of Cleveland, so anybody that's getting out will come out here. Last year when I was on the East Side of Cleveland, actually spotting was much better, especially Chagrin Falls. If any spotting tourists are in the Cleveland area on a nice Sat or Sun morn/PM, definitely spend a few hours in Chagrin Falls.

Chagrin Falls:

see the resemblance?

good eye to catch the F430 in that! but I'd already posted this photo here, was just trying to illustrate how this little village is a car spotting dream, and how Calvin and Hobbes even spent time here, check the white building on the right.

surprisingly, nobody's yet caught my easter egg in the rear view shot of the Vanquish, and also behind the Z06...

and just to dig deeper into my old spots...

again from just a couple miles from Chagrin Falls, on a windy, river following road with some nice ups and downs (Chagrin River, of course), probably my favorite spot of all time so far, love the composition, though it was totally out of my control caught with a cheap digi out my window at 25 mph, an original 30's Morgan 3 Wheeler.

Miata.👍

Dont know if its really an easter egg, but the first shot of the vanquish, the signs behind it makes it look like its for sale for only $5

Oh, is it the fisker karma, then the subaru sti?

And, this is off topic, but Madertus, the new ferrari is called the 'new enzo' because its the successor to the enzo (saw that in your signature :sly:)

^Oh I know, but even though its name 'LaFerrari' is official, I still come across billions of people calling it TEH NEW ENZOH YO :D

I prefer "New Enzo" to "LaFerrari." I cannot get over how awful the name is. If I owned one, I'd always tell people that I had an F70.

Yeah, they went full retard with the naming... I too would rather name it F70.

But let's get back at the topic, shall we? C:

So is it legit or no?

Saw a woman driving a red 458 Spyder with red&chrome wheels on Flinders St(Melbourne) yesterday. Couldn't tell if she was someone famous. Too much traffic to hear the engine.

I'm staying in the Melbourne CBD(central biz district), chance I may see it again. If I can post multiple pics, I'll def get more snaps when I'm out.

Yeah, the Fisker actually was for sale, so would be a spot for the other thread, but I though I'd include it as an easter egg.

and today, didn't have a chance to do any deliberate spotting, just saw these as I was driving around making deliveries

This looked great... from a distance. Then I noticed the like 24" wheels. Ugh. Model?

arguably not even close to a good spot... but when I see a model I don't know it's always interesting to me. And even better, this VW Fox was made in Brasil! About 160,000 of them landed over here from like 1987-1993, so I don't know why I can't remember seeing one before...

Turbo

And this one I'm hoping will make Cano's eyes pop a little. I'm going to guess '32 Chevy, but only give myself a 10% chance of being right.
