Maximum w00tage on the Renault! I've never seen a real one before, and being that it was one of my favorite cars from PGR2, it makes it that much cooler!

After spotting a brand-new CTS out on the road I went to the Cadillac dealer. There I found these:



Two new 2008 STS models, one was an STS4, the other was a standard RWD model. Very nice in-person, I must say.

There were some older Cadillacs there getting ready for the big car show weekend as well...



Although, I found what I came for:


(I like this color the best, besides black)



If the interior is anything like the 2008 SRX I looked at while I was there (the CTS's looked A LOT better), it should be outstandingly awesome. Given more time, I would have had them open it up for me.
 
Damn I wish I had a camera on me this morning.

I saw a Ferrari F355.

Nothing special you may say. But this is one of my favorite Ferraris,

And just to top it off the reg was ?355 JAY

(No it wasn't 'F', shame though)
 
I've only seen one new CTS which is surprising...I still want a photo of it.
 
Once again GV you're finding some awesome cars out there in northants, that renault spider is very cool. Never seen one anywhere except in pics on the net and a car book i have. Say have you found a silver TVR Sagaris around there yet, or perhaps the red Ultima GTR i missed a photo of about a year ago?

My area of the UK seems quite dull in comparison, yesterday i saw a Ford Anglia, first ive seen..

Really dull street lights and camera phone = total crap picture taking environment! 👎
 
...Well, the Grand Rapids Metro Cruise pre-show started this evening...

28th Street (for the few of us here who know what it is) isn't a big place to begin with, so it was bumper-to-bumper, and this was only the pre-show. That Nova there is exactly what I like, small-block performance that (overall) doesn't look very fast. The Z/28 up in front of it is pretty much what I want, although I'd prefer mine in Blue or White, not with a drag setup of course...

I'm pretty sure thats a Roush Stage 3 Mustang. It didn't sound very mean though... Oh, BTW, you can see the Berger Chevrolet sign back there. I plan on spending most of my afternoon there tomorrow...

Is it me, or is that simply a V6 Mustang with a big dumb body kit and side exhaust?

I can just tell when it's a V6. All GTs sound mean. They can't not sound mean. It's not lowered any, either.
 
The lights don't quite look right, unless it's a modified early model.

Everything else just screams Karmann!

Thanks Bondy, Unfortunately I haven't seen any Ultima GTR's. But I think I may have seen the silver sagaris (certainly rings a bell). I'm quite suprised as to what I've seen around the northants and oxforshire. I really need to go to the ascari factory which is really close to me. Infact it's in the same area as UKGTP8!
 
As I was packing in the old stereo into a box, I peeked up and saw a white Maserati Quattroporte passing by. I think it's the first one I saw and it was pretty close.

I wouldn't doubt you saw a 3 Series Vert. but I don't believe it was a new M3. Only the Sedan's been seen, with the M3 Conv. still in testing in Germany.

Equinox SS? I didn't even know they were planning such a thing... would that have a V8 or a supercharged 6?

They are new for to 2008 model year, I'm not surprised anyone outside of Michigan hasn't seen them yet. They are AWD and come with a bigger N/A 264-hp, 3.6-liter V-6...about 80 more horsepower then the normal one with the 3.4L V6 in it. I have to imagine it's fairly zippy...not exactly fast but decently quick for a small SUV. They also come with a 6 speed automatic.

**Checking out the Chevy website the SS tops out around $31K :crazy:!

I'd imagine so although I do not know for sure. The 2008 VUE Redline has a 257-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 so I'm guessing it's the same. What gets me though is the SS has more power for some reason.

There is also a Torrent GXP from Pontiac.
