In 88 they shared tail lights so fifteen years later they decided to share engines... sounds like a fair tradeoff... especially because Toyota was building both parts... then again I can't think of anything Toyota would want from Lotus... except maybe excitement.

I'm sure MkI MR2 & MkII & MkIII Supra owners are pretty thankful to Lotus for tuning their chassis for them.

So are owners of the Isuzu Impulse
You can only do so much with a piece of crap.

EDIT: Cano, after seeing all of your posts it's taken me this long to come up with my theory. I'm assuming it's legal to just leave wretched cars to rot on the curb of a busy street in Mexico?

Yeah WTF? There'll be a street with normal cars parked on it clearly there for a temporary bit, and then there'll be a car there parked amongst them that looks like it was abandoned during the Carter presidency.

Not legal at all, after a while a tow truck Hill come and take them off, but well… I’ve been told about cars that are 25 years and running in the same spot and nobody know where they CAME from and they are still there. Every once in a while the City’s government will do “clean campaigns” and remove abandoned cars from the streets, but you still se a dang lot, it’s been a while since I went to chase abandoned cars but I’ve seen cars that I found 5 years ago and they are still there only worse. In fact, I think that maybe from the 2500 pics or so of cars in the street I have, about 65% should be of cars in some state of abandonment. Illegal, maybe, but the authority doesn’t really care that much, and that is cool (:

Haha thanks  there have been EB110's, Zondas, and more in the past, I'll try my best ;)

A CLK GTR though  or maybe 996 GT1 :p

Aren't they just. That's why I continue to post pics of them. That sound is just biblical!

Speaking of C63, i saw my very first today. I was told by a MB dealer that there are only around 15 or so of these in the Toronto area.

So for now... much rarer than any ferrari or lambo

BMW M3 Coupe 2009

First coupe for I've seen. Much better presence than the sedan, although that may be due to the carbon fiber roof contrasting with the white body. Which looks killer, in my opinion.

Bentley Arnage R
The license plate seems rather Russian, da?

Mercedes-Benz S600 2009

New exhaust: tweaked for 2009, or just optional? Found near the Russkie Arnage.

Mercury Cougar 1968

So if Ford created the original Cougar as a rebadged Mustang, is there any chance of revitalizing Mercury today with the same idea, or is Mercury just too far gone and the public too tired with rebadged cars?

Morgan Aero 8

After seeing this for years at the NYIAS, I finally see one on the road. And it's from Florida. It looked fantastic. Didn't get to see the cross-eyed front, but it was great to see it at all.

CLK GTR or don't come back

(just kidding good luck!)

Yeah good luck Alex! Get some good snaps!

There are a couple of CLK GT-R's floating around over here, but I'm yet to see one. I know that one owner likes to drive around in his with his mates in a McLaren F1 Longtail and a 911 GT1 LM. I wait in anticipation for the day I see them driving together.

Images NOT mine...

In the Land of Mercedes I am yet to see the 2009 model. Good spot, Harry!

Today seems to be everything beginning with 'M'...

Maserati Gran Turismo

Only 5? Seems strange as they actually had TV ads in the GTA for the C63 specifically, and I've seen at least 6 or 7 of them. However, I did witness my first GT-R the other day...

You'll have to explain more on this unless you're refering to that guy in the Middle East, or someone who owns a few GT1 race cars, merely because no one's driving a street legal F1 GTR '97 around with his buds unless it's at a track.

On a cover of a local magazine there was a photo of a CLK GT-R (Warsteiner), Porsche 911 GT1 (Mobil) and McLaren F1 (Fina) driving through the tunnel on the Tai Po Expressway in the New Territories. I know the CLK GT-R and the 911 GT1 are run by people who have something to do with SPS (they drive them at Sepang and Zhuhai I think), but I don't know about the McLaren. I knew I should have bought the mag...

Oh, it was a magazine article, then. Well, ok, that makes sense. I thought you were talking about some guy who openly brings out '97 GTR on the street when none are street legal. :p

Awesome post Harry tuttle, an old car then a new car that looks like an old one. And I like Rue’s RX7’s rear, if it did not have the covered taillights it would look a lot better; I think it’s intresting.

That settles it for me, I saw a Kuga the other day but didn't know if it was worth post here, so maybe it still have enough presence to count it a spot.

BMW Mini I thought it was a little odd to have a Mini with a foreign numberplate in the UK, but after taking the photo I found it quite nice as a composition
