Good grief! If the electrics fail, at least you don't need to use the hazards!

That has to be one of my favourite cars of recent times. So sexy!

Mercury Cougar ~1967

So if Ford created the original Cougar as a rebadged Mustang, is there any chance of revitalizing Mercury today with the same idea, or is Mercury just too far gone and the public too tired with rebadged cars?

That's a '68, for those that care. It has a sidemarker. :)

If a rebadged and repanelled Mustang labelled Mercury Cougar looked really good (unlike the current Mustang) then maybe.

It could even put one over the the Camaro, if it had IRS and some chassis development.

But somehow I doubt it.

i saw something today that i'm not quite sure on. my first reaction was "HOLY **** A DB5!"

the front end looked quite similar yet the rear end revealed "fins" that were a little too defined for an Aston. They were almost like a Triumph TR4 but it was NOT a Triumph and they were pretty thin. A little bit like a less defined and thinner T-Bird fin. No pics unfortunately. Anyone with 60's sports cars expertise car to take a stab? It was definitely of British decent.

I'm on a mission now, today I saw a Peugeot 308 or something to that affect on French plates both front and rear. I need to find that car as I assume it dwells around here somewhere and get the low down on it. Also I saw the new 2010 Mustang in camo, which means I need to scout for that as well.

I hate how the best spots are always in a position where it would be dangerous for me to get a picture.

Isn´t that Orange bentley owned by some royal arab guy? he has a Veyron of the same colour.

Also, I´ve been here 2 and a half days, and so far have 2 599s(one of them a novitec), a 612, several 430´s and 360´s, a Z8, porsche speedster, 3 murcielagos, 3 gallardos, countless bentley´s and mercs, and the new SL65. The chances of seeing something special are alot greater than what they were when I saw the CCX, so here´s to hoping.

Ford Capri 2.0 S.

Awesome car, needs a 289 with Webers but I've always liked how those look.

And where in heck are all the pics of front and back of each and every one of those? ¬¬

It's a Mansory body kit and wheels. It is the same colour as the infamous ones in Dubai, but I'm not sure if it's the same family/company or the owner just liked the colour scheme. Actually, it's grown on me over the last few days.

I didn't know what the hell this was at first, it blew by so fast I didn't get a chance to identify it, but when I got home I uploaded the picture and found out that I had just seen my first Nissan 350Z! The thing sounded awesome too!

Edit: Taken October 2nd, going downstate for surgery

I live in Northern Maine...We don't get many exotics up here, aside from this guy who always drives his Audi TT up and down the road, and a doctor's Porsche Boxter...:/

Cobra Replica

Did the Cobra replica have anything to do with the BET awards? Because I would be shocked…

I was amazed to find this on the street, because it seemed it had not moved in QUITE some time, A110 Alpine (French car, not Mexican Dinalpin); check out the rollcage and aluminum Gottis with severe camber, this thing seems serious!

Now when you say popular, you don't mean common do you? I saw one of these at Le Mans this year, and where I normally don't do this, for this car I turned into that guy who bends over and pushes his face against the window to peer in. :D

I mean French cars enthusiasts like this alpine because it's one of the only sports car that also worked as a race car.

i swear iv seen one before, maybe at goodwood or something

oh! saw the matra bagheera again, must be lurking somewhere
speaking of obscure little cars, i saw this at the revival, havnt a clue what it is so i shall put it to you

nicely preserved/restored 1968 Mustang:
u7n001.jpg

originally stolen from the USA no doubt :p

Why would it? Its a freaking 1967 Mustang hardtop, they are the most common of cars here in Mexico and quite easy to restore, because they were the only Pony car to ever be officially sold in Mexico and only in hardtop form, only with 289 engines (no fastbacks and no big blocks, it sucked)

If it was a 1970 Barracuda, a Challenger, a 1970 Camaro or something like that you may be right, because none of them were sold here officially, and you could have said that about some of those I have posted, which I’ve pictured because I have no idea what they are doing in Mexico, but many cars were properly imported back in the day and still are.

But this Mustang is one of the most common old cars to find in the streets of Mexico, and one of the most commonly restored cars here. Pick another one and we’ll talk.

Its popular everywhere but quite rare, I really liked that one because of the aggressive stance, rollcage and Gottis. And here in Mexico we have an even rarer version called Dinalpin, wich is basically a made-in-Mexico Alpine (with the quality issues that go with that) so called because it was made collectively by Renault de Mexico and Dina Motors, a mexican truck-builder, this due to laws that demanded every car that was sold in the country to be assembled here. I posted one up a while ago, I’ll post it up later again if you want. Or you can look for it.

Ill later comment on your big-ass post Doug, I can’t see half the pics -_-. Cool Skyline Rue.
