I've got countless different cars parked near my place. :sly: My neighbour owns a Lotus Elise S1, and there usually is a BMW X5 and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo parked near my school nearly every night. Also, there was once that a Smart Roadster and a BMW 2002ti parked near my house.

There's a number of nice cars in my village including a white M3 CSL, two identical grey Skyline GT-T's always parked next to each other, a black MKIV Supra twin-turbo, a couple of Brabus CLK's, a Merc SLK55, a Merc 190SL, Jag XK120 and Lambo Countach all in silver, a Panther Kallista rotting in a hedge and a few other things. Pretty cool for a sleepy little village by the sea.

Around there's there's loads of sweet cars...wait no there isn't! I think there's a Ford GT and a Dodge Viper RT/10, and that's about it. :P

I've got bugger all in my Village. I've found a DB9, Vanquish and GT3RS before and that's about it. Pretty good for a tiny countryside village.

I see all my spots at Silverstone, London or Puerto Banus.

A Levin in my (housing)estate :P

And the heavily modified integra I was talking about earlier

That Estoril Blue M3 Cab is the dog's knackers. That car/colour combo is so nice even better if it has the light grey leather interior. All it needs is the alternative M3 wheels (split five spokes) to complete it. If I ever end up getting a car here, that's high on my list. That or a R129 Merc SL.

Thanks Rue. :)👍
I think it had a black interior.

Here's an other pic of the car. (A little blurry)

Ah, well black's good enough too but a little sticky in the heat of Hong Kong. I always take photos of E36 M3's but rarely post them. Maybe I should as they're a really good looking car.

When i showed up at work today, i saw this

A couple of hours later, i saw this in the same lot. Instead of using my crappy phone, i grabbed a D300 and a 16-85VR and snapped this. Damn accord ruined the photo opportunity though :(

I almost put both of those cars in the fantasy 5-car garage in the Rumblestrip. Awesome, awesome spots!!! I have yet to see a registered facelift SL here =(

Nice RS! There's not too many of those around town, that's for sure.

I've only seen two, and they were both at the exact same time. I was taking some snaps an identical black and orange one (a real beater) from some exotic rental place on Front St., and a separate orange and black one sails by. Never thought I'd see those odds line up - I should've bought a lotto ticket.

Ha! Seems the RS's are meant to be seen like that. I have photos from a day when I saw three in three different colour schemes in the space of about 20 minutes. I looove those cars.

Yesterday on the way home from work , saw this little train of cars :

1. 911
2. 911
3. 944
4. M3
5. Viper GTS

They all had dealer tags on them , possibly tranporting them to a winter home , or somebody has a lot of cabbage in their wallet !!!!

Don't know for sure , but it was a cool sighting.

+1

Best automotive facelift ever.
I hate it. It's too complicated. It looks heavy and clumsy, and it looks like much of that galactic weight is concentrated in that 3 foot overgrowth sticking out past the front wheels. In contrast, the Accord next to it looks much more taught, light, nimble, and athletic. A triumph of minimalist design. Mercedes simply said "If a little chrome, intakes, and swoops are good then lots of chrome, intakes, and swoops must be better.

And why does it have bigger wheel gaps than my stock-riding Civic? Is its electronically adjustable heavy-load-rated suspension set to the tallest ride height?

It's a piece of crap. I'd never own one, and if someone gave me one I'd sell it and buy an early- to mid-2000s Honda. I'd buy more than one Honda but the depreciation of that piece of crap drops faster than a thousand cubic feet of granite.

No wonder, look at what they took inspiration from:

Mercedes is the king of ornament. What Mercedes is doing is what was labeled as bad design in the mid-early 20th century. Just blindly attaching visual shapes to a perfectly fine shape. The previous SL's graphics held the proportions together just fine, but they decided to take all sorts of other junk and put it on instead just to try and freshen things up.

My uncle said a guy at his workshop owned a Lambo. From what he said it sounds like a Gallardo Spyder. Gonna see if I can check it out Monday. :D -kevin

The old 300SL is a stunning piece. It's so well tied together. The car looks great as a whole. It looks taught and aerodynamic. It's like Lance Armstrong tucked down low streaking along at 60mph, whereas the new SL looks like Hulk Hogan, with its huge square jaw, chunky cut muscles, bulging veins, and uncouth, loud-mouthed, overpowering demeanor that makes it feel like the high school football team's quarter back at the party yelling at the girls and spilling beer all over himself.

It's an ugly and unsophisticated pile of crappy design. The new Nissan Murano is more unified and balanced. The SL's front end expresses anger, but the car as a whole expresses Mercedes's bad design house.

Been waiting a couple weeks to break out this Photoshop X-Process action, it didn't suit much. This super vintage GMC van fit the bill pretty good. Enjoy.

What's origin of that color style? Why do people do it? It looks cool, sure, but what's it supposed to replicate?

It's mimicking a film development process in which you use a chemical intended for a different type of film with your exposures, changing the colour range of the film you used.

MWAHAHAHA WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE!! I reckon tht is your first abandoned automobile post?

I sure hope you give us more. If you only exploited you wawesome photo eye on rustbuckets they would look awesome.

Sorry for the blurriness. Cool license plate. I’ve realized that every time I see a Lotus Elise, it’s always because I first notice a small dot darting around in my rearview mirror. God do I want one.

Maybe he moved here to get away from Douglas?
