Good spots there Jeff! I feel a little woozy after looking at some of them though... Get that camera charged up.

That red Porsche is a 964 and looks like a Turbo-body but a bit hard to tell.

I need to get the camera out...

Based on your location, you're already late on parade! Get that thing out now, sir! We have sporadic posts from one or two people in Japan but it's not enough. Looking forward to your pics. What part of Japan are you in?

Cool. Japan.

Also, epic spots, Nismo and CDailey! That Buick wagon is intense. Cool com bi too, Racedude. Can't remember the last time a saw one with a camper.

Goddin:

The F85 Cutlass is actually a 67 Chevelle, the green one bellow the Ferrari is a Cutlass, lol, the red one bellow the Porsche is yet another 1967 Chevelle, and I can't even see the damned old truck, dude.

EDIT: Stellar, Racedude!! I love it how it's a hodge-podge of styles into one car, and the fact that it's a 4-door. I wonder if they just run it without a hood.

This is going to be a really hefty post, but here goes:

These pictures are from my trip to Hong Kong last week. These pictures are all taken as I was walking around the city, except for a few that I took when I camped out on an overpass for 15 minutes. I wasn't able to get everything that I saw, but as if Rue's pictures aren't enough, this is an additional indication of just the number of nice cars in HK. Also, I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. None of them are as good or artistic as any of the other HK car spotters on GTPlanet, I tried what I can as an amateur with a crappy point-and-shoot and without arousing too much weird looks from people.

In front of the Peninsula Hotel. Count them, that's 3 Rolls Royce Phantoms (all owned by the hotel).

This is a Mercedes S-Class, but that doesn't matter, what's important is that this car is left-hand drive, and has dual plates (which I wasn't able to capture, at least of this car), it's got HK plates and the blue Guangdong Province plates, not the black Guangdong/HK plates. I saw a few of these here in Hong Kong, all of which were left hand drive, had dual blue Guangdong plates and HK plates. I thought that all HK plated car must be right hand drive?

This is a different car that is sold in China market (Looks like a Buick GL8?) only that had dual blue Guangdong and HK plates and is left hand drive also.

I saw that in the parking lot where I work. One advantage of working outside grabbing carts while living this close to Gibson Island is seeing some of these nice cars drive by, and every once in a while one parks here so I get a chance to take a picture.

And then, as I was leaving the parking lot, I noticed this pulling into it. I actually turned around as soon as I could and went back to search the parking lot for it:

This car. When you see it in pictures and on a TV screen it looks sexy, but when you're standing right next to it.....just.....

But sometimes this front plate law is really annoying.:irked:

I have a few more pictures, but they're all out of focus because the camera on my phone sucks. Well, the focus sucks, but damn, when it does focus it takes some pretty amazing shots.

had one of the hospital staff come up to me in a blue frock after taking those pictures to talk about cool cars like this AMG. Nice guy, asked me if I'd heard of the program Top Gear...

Great shots man, I hope you enjoyed your stay!

A few more from Hong Kong

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R (or dressed up to be)

Nice shots, Paul! See this Do-Luck kitted Skyline around quite a lot. I have sneaky suspicion it's a GT-T with a bit of work on the rear arches, but I can't be sure. Every time I see it it's being driven by a girl :)

We had torrential rain yesterday here in Hong Kong due to a passing typhoon and I got out with the camera to take a few snaps. Not many great cars but there might be something worth posting in the rain. Watch this space...

Kind of funny how I got the word "antique" in the shot too. Total accident. But there is some real history with those S12 Silvias.

I have one! Stock the car is very meh, especially the one that's not the Redline. Luckily I have the Redline with a little more done to it and now I can say it's a true sports car.

Cool cars there, but we have a dedicated thread for shows, garages, etc. You can post them here...

First of the typhoon Nesat shots from yesterday...

That's not noise (I was shooting at ISO200), they're raindrops. I've never seen heavier rain..

I saw a black Ferrari 458 parked outside Blockbuster a few months ago. The sound of the engine when he started it up was glorious. I didn't have time to get any pictures, so you'll just have to believe me. There aren't that many supercars in my (small) city, so it was a lovely treat to see a Ferrari 458, the only other supercar I can remember seeing in my (small) city was an Aston DB9 about two years ago.
