I'm with HK guy up here, bud. PLEASE we want spots from Japan. Any interesting car you find there. Specially modified cars.

Also, Vince, MORE MORE MOOOORE of that Turbo Alpine! Holly hell what a car!!!! MORE!

Love your slightly purple tinted photos, love the snap shot style, but please bring us the JDM scene as well as the imports! 👍

Yeah when I send the photo's from my phone to flickr via the android app, it gives me the option to tint them. They have one for Tokyo and I was a bit intrigued lol.

But there really isn't much tuner cars here. Or from what I hear, not in the area of Tokyo I live or will ever honestly need to go to. Most of the cars I see around are either taxi's or mercs haha

There is a modified car just outside my window I could potentially take pics of. It's just a toyota caldina I believe though lol

I just want to post here about something unrelated to the thread. I would never normally do this but here goes... In the last few hours I heard that Marco Simoncelli died at the MotoGP race Sepang yesterday. I feel completely hollow about the whole thing and just wanted to share my grief with my online friends. I saw this guy in the 250's last year, and was an instant fan. There was something about the fella that just got my pulse racing. Brave, talented, sometimes controversial but undoubtedly a man of massive potential, and without a doubt a lovely guy. A true legend in the making. I was looking forward to seeing this guy's career blossom, but tragically it's not going to happen. It's people like Marco that push the limits of motorsport and make the road bikes and cars of today the technical marvels that they are. I just feel really sad,and thought I'd share my thoughts...

I have some photos to post from today but I will wait until tomorrow to post them (nothing special anyway). Sorry to post off topic, but I just had to share my feelings.

Also Dan Wheldon. Thankfully, fatalities aren't as common as they used to be in racing, but at the heart of the sport is the risk inherent. It makes me sick how the highlights after races and the teasers ahead of them are mostly crashes and collisions, because that's why most people watch, that's what keeps the money flowing into the sports. Unfortunately not many people want to see good clean racing as a test of skill and mechanics, they want drama and danger...

Also, not trying, got a GT3 today!

Amazin pics guys. Thanks! I'm literally drolling over those R8's, if I ever get the money that'll be my car.

Edit: Or that Viper ACR.

You're going to come home with a mouthful of cavities... (kid in a candy shop)

Damn that SLR!!!! And what's a Bristol?

Also, F'ing Quick!

was also going to mention the coolness of the wet R8 shot, and M5 wagon, but Cano beat me to it. Although I should say there was no luck involved in that shot, dude's in London, it's gonna be wet more often than not.

I was in London a few years ago, first I was like: ooooooeeehh a Ferrari! oeeeeehhh a Rolls! ooooeeeehh an Aston! All those oeeeh's changed to 'another' verry quickly. I was there in July, it was supercar madness. That M5 touring is the best spot!

Wow! So many cool cars there NISM0 and some great photos too! Particularly like the perspective of the pic of the Aston on the dark, wet street and the composition of the R8.

A few from Sunday and yesterday... The light was way too bright for getting decent pictures, so I made them all BnW.

I love the Crown, they are quite popular here too. Don't think I've seen a Tom's version though.

I said more later.

This was last spring, completely different place and time but same model Alpine 610 Turbo:

having a walk at the Golf club, last end of winter (there was snow) this Alpine showed up:

For the bit between Bond street and Belgravia, when I was there I started to understand that some forums state Bentleys are not a spot, this was about 100m apart:

But English also have Rolls Royce:

and Mercedes CLK 63 AMGs:

Great Alpine spots Vince 👍 I've got a real soft-spot for them. You just don't see them over here anymore - probably because they're Renaults.

Yes, me too! What a cool car. I remember always hassling my old man to get one back in the 80's. One exactly like this...

The last car I want to find is a Carrera GT, hopefully I'll come across one somewhere.

Nice post Nismo, I've seen one of those Deltas myself a while ago, paintjob looks a bit different :)

Awesome post Nismo.

I used to live in London.. The Carrera GT is one of the hardest cars to find, even in the Veyron infested Summer.. I tried my luck many times but always returned short.

Is that Murcielago Matte Black? It looks stunning.

I've seen one Carrera GT in my life in LA, and I missed it. I can just hope one will randomly pop up somwhere in my travels.

And the Murcie was either Matte Black or Matte Grey. It was dark out and the only reason I knew it was coming was because of the exhaust.

Don't worry. You have to already own an Aston to get a Cygnet. So those Cygnet owners at least have a good car back home.

But soon you'll be able to buy them without having to have a proper one. What happens if you own one of these and you get chatting to a girl in a bar, she sees your keys and asks you what model you have and then you have to explain you drive a forty-thousand pound Toyota micro-car...? I imagine for the kind of person that would buy one of these the shame would be unbearable - makes me chuckle every time.

Let's go again:

Sunday morning shopping in the UK a few weeks ago:
Aston Martin DB9:

Driving to the UK:

Ultimately you do miss some cars on the other side of the motorway. (At first I put some of the first letters in bolt but maybe that was a bit over the limit.)

Shopping for clothing last Saturday, put several in the showroom thread:

One time near work: Daihatsu Matera, something you do not see a lot here:

Can't remember when, a Lotus Europa:
