Good quality page this is, good to see you back and spotting in Houston Astrosdude.
Last few posts have some photos that belong in the event and showroom thread though ;).

And I'm not even going to start on the pink Bentley

Rue
I love white supercars and my fave car of all time is the 288 GTO, but strangely I don't really like it in white.

Understandable, man. I love a Dark metallic brown, but they don't look good on everything...

And stop ruining my pants with your stupidly crispy clear photos.

Well, it's been over 2 weeks since my last contribution to this thread, and I'm afraid this isn't much to be excited over, but I for one hardly ever see these and just love them to bits, so... MR2 '80's style!

Also, guess I could've snapped some pics, but not really so interested in contributing to the showroom thread. Stopped by a Saab/MB dealership looking at panel vans for my farm's delivery needs, and WTF?!?? A Fisker Karma and a pair of Spykers! That Fisker is one beautiful automobile!

Any way to tell if this is genuine? It had the Brembos and Rays wheels, but I don't know much about 350s.

I see him driving about a lot near my new house, and he's always in the hospital car park!

If it's a Nismo.

I'd say not since there's no Nismo badge on it. I personally would never take it off either. And there's many parts that Nismo makes for the car, so it's hard to say which it would be since this has conflicting parts from the different versions.

It has Nismo badges on it they are white. They are on the front and back.

Oh wow, I wondered what the red O was. Couldn't really make it out.

The front bumper is the same as a Nismo one but the slits are supposed to have lights in them. So maybe just ad ons?

It definitely didn't have those seats. They were fairly standard looking judging by the photo. Even if it's just been modded to look like one though, he's done a bloody good job!

Looks nice. What is it supposed to be anyway, Moglet? The particular model of Z you're talking about has passed me by somehow.

The Z in question is simply called the NISMO 350Z.

I believe though that particular bodykit is the S-Tune kit. However they did sell a separate S-Tune model with unpainted extensions, and a red/black/white pinstripe set.

All the Hong Kong spots are giving me fits of jealous rage. I thought those were the kind of things communism was supposed to be against.

Hong Kong was British remember, not very communist. Although it is Chinese now, I found there is still more an Anglo Saxon culture then Chinese. Admitting some Chinese influence like slurping food.

Bit of an odd one here. As I was on my way to a meeting, I spotted an r8 and an nsx on one drive.

The thing that makes it odd is the house they're sat out side, which is probably worth less than the Audi.

Makes me wonder what it's in the garage?

Really, where is it?

Even in a rougher part of Sheffield, that's a £150k house.

£53k for the 2008 Audi. £15k for the NSX. It's not inconceivable that someone in a house like that owns those cars. Unlikely, i grant you.

I didn't realise they were that cheap, thats still about half the value of that house between the two of them. The value of the cars it's definitely disproportionate to what you'd expect in the area

I hope you guys realise that the house is only half of that building. It's a semi-detached house. It looks about the same size as the house me and my girlfriend just bought!

In case anyone didn't realise that, it'll be a 2.5-bed, one bath job with probably only one reception room and an average sized kitchen. They aren't big houses there, and it's not that nice an area, it's probably worth £150K, tops.

Which is what makes it weird, in my eyes. The upkeep on those cars must run to 10K or so a year - I wouldn't have thought that the insurance for the pair of them would be much less than that.

Just stumbled through this thread and felt excited and motivated.
A most entertaining and informative thread for me!
To keep you entertained, I like to post this Porsche 911 "Safari" I shot in September 2011 at the Hamburg Stadtpark Revival, Germany.
The car was carefully tuned up in style of the legendary Porsche 911 SC Safari 1978
and had some eye-catching details you might love or hate.
Please let me know if posts like this are an enrichment to the thread or not.
