Sorry it took so long, didn't even drop by the forum the entire weekend.

kind of a fun day. oddities and rural yard spots as I went about my business.

I'd like to get in this guy's barn. And not sure what exactly, but something from the 30's?

1930 Model A, indeed. Maybe 31. If I saw the front I'd know for sure.

because if it was real they would not put those Fuch wheels, plus the offset is wrong and the tires are wrong. Color is total fail. A car of that vintage and value would be restored to mostly factory specs and if it was a real vintage race car it would still not use those type if rims. :dopey:

If you knock on the body panels it is probably made of fiberglass and not aluminium.

Thank you.

And, from the parking lot, stopped by the local drag strip. Fun! and,
model?

1948 Ford Anglia. Cool.

can you say chopped?
sick!

nice! model?
1934 Ford roadster.

'57ish Eldorado, sweet car, and massive!
1959 (:

300zx I think.

Sure, the 300ZX is nice, but that is a 1966 Pontiac GTO beside it. SO. MUCH.CAR. At least it's a Tempest with a GTO hood on it. And both abandoned. NNHNNHNG. MOAR PICS I DEMAND.

Rue
I'll go for a walk and take some more photos of the seemingly abandoned cars in my village. You'll be on the cyanide pills by the end of it.

YESSS. And post them you-know-where, too.

Whatever this is it looks pretty awesome, anyone have any ideas?

I couldn't get a shot of the front because as you can see the guy was sat in it.

Cano finally dropped by, thanks for the ID's mate!

And, seems I can't go anywhere without seeing something.

And oh my god did this blow my mind. 1st Citroen I've ever seen, 2CV:

yeah, crappy pic, but phone was handy and generally doesn't muck about trying to focus, so I decided I'd have a better chance catching this that way than if I tried to dig the camera out of my pocket...

Edit:
Anglia... wow! It's from across the pond! And funny, wiki says "lowest priced 4 wheel car in Britain" at the time. Love how they had to qualify it with 4 wheel!

Of course, it's a 1936 Ford cabriolet, which has had it's top chopped. Very awesome, indeed.

Also, Goddin, the Anglia was also sold in these shores, they were (and still are) extremely popular with Gas-classes drag racers because, well, it was one of the smallest cars you could find that baaaaaaaaarely slipped under NHRA wheelbase rules, so...

your's is a more modern version, I could almost assure you it has a full-on tube chassis to be that low, is tubbed in the rear to allow big-ass tires. Still, cool car.

I seen quite a few good cars yesterday, but I could only get a pic of one of the Bentleys I saw.

I know some of you look down on those, but they are quite rare here.

And even where they're commonplace, they're still undeniably great cars. Nice spot!

But I suspect even in Indy, like Cleveland, there are places where you'll see a few every weekend. But outside of those spots, they'll still be great to see (like when I saw one last year way out by my farm, big surprise!)

It depends on where you live. Back when I lived in Cincinnati, I used to freak out when I saw an M5 or Continental. You very very very rarely saw them, like I saw maybe 1 a year. But, now that I live in Tokyo, I've started passing up photo's of Bentley's and such because I could probably take at least 20 in a 20 minutes span sitting in the same spot.

Going to try and get a picture of the SL Black (Might not be black, but it's not a normal SL I'll tell you that) that comes by my school every day. You can hear the thing from a few blocks away.

Could be an SL63 with straight through pipes. I know one here that has them and it sounds as mean as almost anything I've heard before.

That's what I thought ay first but, the body is much more aggressive looking than the SL AMG . Like I said, I'll try to get a picture of it soon.

I saw took two or three days of some sort of aftermarket market(to what extent im not sure) Peugeot 407. This things looks mean!

I know exactly what you mean! I use to gawk at every BMW, Audi, Merc, Porsche that came my way in America. Now that I am living in Munich, Germany.......I get more riled up by some of the Peugeots!...Those RCZ's can look absolutely stunning in the right colors with nice wheel rims! And not to mention the 407 I posted above! In America people thought it was cool to jazz up there Honda's/Acura's...Here people think Mini's can be "tricked out"....

Some jewels I found yesterday.

Range Rovers

An old Merc

Porsche 911 [996]

My second, so far! :D

Audi A5

Hyundai Veloster

Again, my second.

SRT-6

Help?

XK-R!!! My first XK in R form. It went near the same place we were going so we followed it for a while. Got lots of pics.

Help? It was at a Ford dealership getting work done.

thanks for the pretty pics, Dac, Rue, and guy from the Philipines (as Rue said, atmosphere well captured)!

like the color on this 996 turbo. and yes, camera held out the window at 60mph...

CLS55, and a great looking blue 350Z in the BG

kit?

One of 1167, my first and probably only ever TVR, 280i. Heard about this thing's existence a year ago and have had my eyes peeled ever since. And in the garage were a pair of C3 'Vettes, a C1, and a '48 Ford. Notice anything else in the pic?:sly:

nice way to advertise your shop's work! model?

like these old Porsches. 964 Carrera 4 (I think...)

and you gotta LOL at this M3's vanity plate!

finally, GT-R, barely

Yes, kit; in the TVR (awesome spot!) pic, I thought the other red thing was a Reliant Scimitar, but it isn't, so I really don't know. I'm sure I've seen the car somewhere but I can't put my finger on what the hell it is. It's british, I'm sure of that.

The incredibly ugly white and black street rod is a 37 Ford.

Those wires are amazing. Your photos really capture the atmosphere of the Philippines!

Amazing yet distracting.
