DJ Krush - Tokyo Hum arrived from Japan today. Gutted it wasn’t a signed one, but chances were slim at best.

Y'know, I 100% forgot that DJ Krush put out a new record, and boy howdy I think I might need to get this one on wax. I personally wasn't to crazy about Saisei, but Tokyo Hum is a massive step up so far (I've only listened to half of it currently).

My new-to-me copy of the Silent Hill 4 vinyl arrived earlier today.

Getting ready to give both discs a good cleaning, as they're a bit dusty and the sound is definitely off a tad. But otherwise I'm stoked to finally have this one in my collection for a less-than-insane price. Now I'm only missing the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack.

Is it still a toy if you never play with it?

You're quite right - I've decided to take the 12 y.o. bottle to my mate's birthday party next week and crack it open with my Mum first, possibly tonight while we debut our new TV after upgrading her Sky account to UHD yesterday!

It’s a Technics SL1210 MK2 refurbed by MasterSounds. 👍

Cool, that's the exact same turntable that I have. My mate gave it to me as a flatwarming present - no idea where/how he got it, but he was well-known for rummaging through skips while he lived in studentville, and I imagine he got it for nothing. I stupidly threw away the hinges that connect the lid to the turntable, not realising how valuable they were. I might look into getting it refurbished, but I'm planning to gift it to a friend who mentioned he was looking at turntables - but otherwise I might stick it on eBay; but without the original box, I doubt it will command too high a price - not high enough to sell it anyway, and it still looks awesome next to my Technics separates.

Decided to let go digital at least by a half and bought once used, practically new disc drive for my PS5 Pro:

And no matter I already played them, and one is on PS+, on Sale they deserved their place in start of collection:

Next is probably TLoU duo, but first I pre-ordered Mortal Shell 2 and ordered Green Book 4K.
When they arrive, I will post here. This is just announcement.

First day at the vacation. Here’s my latest purchases:
Bandai S.H. Figuarts SKC Ultraman
I’m not only collecting 1/64 cars but also an Action Figure collector.

Grand Theft Auto IV (physical) on PS3
I brought this on CEX. The reason why I brought this, is because of in retaliation to Sony for ending physical disc in 2028 and also collecting (almost) every GTA series in a run-up to GTA VI release.

Burago Formula Racing: McLaren MCL39 (Lando Norris - Australian GP 2025) 1/64

Just a typical 1/64 car collecting by me

Five more 4x6 frames in pale pink, light blue, orange, royal blue, and purple. I’ll be using the purple one first, as the next Patreon print I’m going to get from Mike Maihack is this fun image of Kate “Hawkeye” Bishop and Jeff the Landshark.

The print of Kate and Jeff by Mike Maihack finally arrived, so it’s in the frame I had standing by for it. It has a spot metallic finish on the rings of the bullseye.

Just got this today! :D I got the PS2 version of this game from my aunt back in 2007, I think, and I played it some around that time period and then eventually gave it a full playthrough in 2010 and just recently did it again. Test Drive is a pretty fun game I still think about to this day, so much so I even have a Hot Wheels custom I started on long ago based on one of the cars in this game, and the soundtrack has always really stuck out to me ever since I got it. I have wanted to get the PC version of this game for a long time now, but I would either forget about it or have other things I'd rather get instead. However, since this game has been on my mind lately, I finally decided to get it, and now it's here!

Already installed it, and although it doesn't run natively anymore, I was able to get some files to make it work, and now it runs like a dream! 😎 At some point, I intend to play through this version of the game, but since I just played the PS2 version only a few days ago, I am going to wait on this one. Really glad to have it on PC, though, and I look forward to messing around with it!

Just got another thing in the mail today! Star Wars Battlefront (2004) has been a favorite of mine ever since I got it on PS2, which, funnily enough, was around this time of the year back in 2006, and I even bought it again on Xbox many years later. Now, I got the PC version because I liked a lot of the mods this game has, and my interest in PC gaming as a whole has soared in recent years, so I wanted to get one of my favorite shooter games for it. I'll admit, while I like Battlefront II more, this game does have some unique traits that never made it to that game that still make it worth playing, and my interest in it has gotten a lot stronger in the past year. Not much to say about Republic Commando since I've never played it despite already having it on Steam, but it just happened to be a part of the offer.

Truth be told, I deliberately went for the Fan Favorites I pack of these 2 games because I had bought Battlefront II from this set over a decade ago from a friend at college and really wanted to complete it. Sure, Battlefront may be on Steam, but I've heard weird things about the Steam version, and I think some mods only work on the disc version for some reason. On top of that, the more I find out about the Classic Collection, the less I like it. So that was why I went with this version of the game.

Already installed Battlefront and did some patch work with it, and it runs great! I must admit, I really wish I could've bought these 2 games from my friend who sold me Battlefront II long ago, but I never see him, and he doesn't even know if he has them anymore. So I just settled with buying the rest of the set elsewhere. 🤷‍♂️ At the end of the day, though, I am just glad I have the PC version of Battlefront now and can eventually start exploring all the mods people make for it nowadays.
